Agent Zombie
"Hahaha!" You smiled as the whole table began to laugh- including Sanji, and the moodiness that was bringing everyone down left.
Good work, you!
"Thanks (Y/n), that cheered me up real good" enjoying the light pat Sanji gave you on the head, you moaned out joyously to keep the spirits high.
Nami frowned though, "but guys, we still need bandages.." she reminded the group, and everything grew heavy again.
"Nami is right, (Y/n) may not need bandages- but we do!" Brook then broke out into laughter, making a small grandfather's joke or two under his breath.
"But how are we gonna steal bandages from Trafalgar? He has his base under fort knox!" You brightened up as the name was mentioned, quickly picking up on the fact that you've never heard it before.
"Ooiio..?" Turning to Luffy for an explanation, the raven smiled when he saw the curious twinkle in your (E/c) eye, "he's a great guy! He's helped us out a bunch of times before, but he gets super cranky and yells a lot! He's also super complicated.. and a little weird.."
Sweat-dropping at the vague info, this time you looked to Jinbe for clarification.
"He's another Supernova, leader of the Heart group" you nodded, now understanding the situation a little more.
'Isn't there anywhere else we can get bandages? And can't we just ask for some if he's not a bad guy?'
Zoro snorted- but not in a very good way, and Sanji just clicked his tongue and walked off to light a smoke away from the table.
Robin was the one who turned to you with a small purse in her lips, "while it is true Trafalgar has helped us in the past, he never really aids us without a favor or having something to get out of it, not to mention, ever since the auction house incident, our relationship with his group has been slightly put on a strain.."
Oh, that didn't sound very great, "Trafalgar is a very mysterious man.. since he's one of the only forty five surviving medical experts left in the country after the epidemic started- there have been many people who have gone after him for his surgery skills, since then, he's devised quite the devilish defense system.."
Your eye nearly popped out of it's socket, there were only forty five legitimate doctors left in the whole fucking country?!
Glancing down at the sniveling boy in your lap with an incredulous stare, you began to bounce him up and down and rock him a little faster.
Holy shit, you had a national treasure in your arms!
"Why don't we just sneak in?!" Luffy began to whine out loud, obviously getting short with the topic at hand.
"Luffy.." Jinbe turned to the other with a patient stare- what an angel.
"Trafalgar's base is a very infested hospital in the center of the city.." your mouth dropped open, the guy sounded quite suicidal for a national treasure!
"Zombies and cameras are everywhere, even though there aren't any traps, the zombies are too thick a crowd to get past- and even if you did deal with them all, Trafalgar would be alerted by the cameras"
Oh.. that was actually smart, he was using the zombies as a defense system.. that was devilish!
"Auugh.." whining at the unfair advantage the cunning man devised, you slammed your head into the table, causing both Nami and Robin to giggle, "perhaps this is a little too much for (Y/n) to process.."
Franky suddenly glanced at you, and feeling eyes boring into your head, you regretted turning around to see his poker face- that must not have been good.
"Oi... zombies don't go after ghouls..." not catching on right away, you tilted your head in confusion as Brook gasped, turning to you as well, "and they can blend in well with zombies too..." suddenly you began to break out into a sweat, catching onto their intentions.
"Aaaa!" Swinging your head all around, you were terrified to see that all of them were looking to you expectantly, except for Luffy- who didn't quite catch on.
"Why are you all looking at (Y/n) like that..?"
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"It's alright (Y/n), this is just like a spy mission! You're the Double Agent!" Usopp tried to comfort you from the back of the Mini Merry, but instead you just decided to continue your sulking and ignore him.
"Don't worry, oww! It will be easy to pretend to be a zombie! Then all you gotta do is reach the storage room, take some bandages, stay away from the cameras, and come back! They even keep the storage room open to make sure the zombies are around it!"
You pouted, glancing once outside to see architecture zooming past in an unbelievable speed, and then proceeded to fight the small smile that tried to arise from it.
Suddenly the vehicle slammed to a stop and you swore your head tried to roll off.
"Auaghh?!" Growling in an agitated manner, Franky gave you a sheepish expression as Usopp began to shuffle in the back.
"Alright (Y/n), if you keep going further from here you'll find the hospital- just walk in, blend in, grab some bandages, and walk out.. it'll be easy for you.." the dark skinned teen trailed off as he watched you stare into the ceiling of the Merry as if it was the coolest thing.
"(Y/n)..?" Turning to him as if you only heard the boy for the first time, he exploded into a fit of tears, "ah! Who am I kidding we'll never get those bandages!"
You chuckled at his misery.. perhaps you were learning too much from Zoro.
"Here" blinking at the large knapsack shoved towards you, it was strapped neatly onto your back as Franky scuffed up your hair, "here, you're looking too neat for a zombie.."
By the time he was done, it seemed as if you've just woken up with a bedhead, and your notebook was shoved in the bottom of the pack with a pistol, though you knew you weren't trained to use it, damn.
"Aah.." giving the pair a reassuring smile as you stepped outside, you instantly tried to turn away when drool accidentally dripped out, causing the two boys to laugh, "that's the spirit (Y/n)! Remember! Zombie!"
Grumbling irritably as you limped away, you tried to keep in mind that in a few more steps you'd be under someone's watch.
Zombie.. remember.. zombie..
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well the hospital certainly looked abandoned from a glance.
There were zombies everywhere, it was like rush hour in the streets- but without the cars, in the very center where the logo of the company used to be, there was a rushed makeover, having been covered with a strange smiley insignia made with yellow spray paint.
Eerie..
The hospital's doors were wide open, and you could see zombies wandering as they liked inside, you would have been confused if it wasn't for the lights blatantly flashing from the top floors.
They let the zombies protect the lower floors while they were safe in the top floors..
Glancing to the side of the hospital, you could see the ladder of a fire escape, but it was crawling with cameras- although you seriously doubted any human could make it that far with how crowded it was.
Not like you could pose as a zombie while climbing ladders.. the front door it was.
Frowning with how crowded it was, you had to keep yourself from growling with how bold the zombies were, even having the audacity to go up and sniff you- although those that did were immediately spooked off by your scent.
But god.. it killed you to move so clumsily and slow, at one point you even lost your balance and had to stand back up slowly as well- gah! It was so frustrating!
By the time you made it to the second floor you were ready for death.
Luckily, you saw a faint light down the bloodied hall- a door open wide too.
Bingo, praise Jesus this nightmare was almost over.
In that moment of excitement you nearly collected yourself and fixed your posture- but quickly caught yourself and slumped back into a messy limp, god this couldn't go any slower.
Peeking into the room, you felt a light-bulb shine above your head seeing dozens of medical supplies carefully wrapped in tight plastic- sterile and protected from zombie infection.
Perfect!
Although, once again you had to be careful, seeing it was just as crowded in the small space as it was in the streets, but this could also be put to your advantage, considering it would make it harder for them to see you stealing their supplies.
"Aaa..." moaning gently under your breath, few zombies that heard gave you a wide birth, however, most ignored you as you explored the narrow aisles- looking for a blind spot.
There had to be one.. you had to admit they were really competent to be able to pull all this off, it was really hard to keep cover.
Eyes brightening at a dark area, you carefully wobbled over, and was smiling freely when you couldn't see a single shiny black box.
Blind spot! Right behind the bandages too!
Discreetly sliding open the zipper, you made sure to grab the stuff that wasn't in sight, only making sure to nab enough that wouldn't make the bag bulge.
Time to leave!
Making sure to keep yourself under control, you stumbled slowly for the door, managing to get halfway out when your eye saw something that made you freeze up.
Down the hall were two men, both dressed in thick attire that covered the majority of their bodies and heading towards you- oh shit they didn't notice did they?!
But, watching as they goofed off with each other and spoke as if they weren't surrounded by killing machines, you doubted they were here to stop you- until one of them saw you and tensed up.
Oh- "what- wait who is-?" Turning to face them in a swinging motion, they both relaxed along with you when your missing eye came into view.
"Oh wow.. for a moment I thought that zombie was a person.." the one with a cap slumped over in relief, making a small sound of objection as the redhead ran over to face you.
With a silly grin on his face, the man ran circles around you as you carefully tried to walk for the stairs without alerting them, "man I did too! There's hardly any damage on her, a shame we couldn't have saved her- she's a beaut!"
Ignoring the comments, you finally walked past the capped one, and sagged when the redhead stopped circling you too.
"Whatever, come on Shachi we need to grab some Propofol for the cap!" Back inside the room you heard the other man call for the redhead, but paid little mind.
"You two.." hearing a new voice enter the conversation, you didn't bother to steal a glance as the stairs were now in your view.
"Ah, captain!" The two yelled.
"I'll let it pass this once.." the two men made sounds of confusion, but you couldn't care less, all you wanted was to leave.
"But really.." You took your first step into the stairwell.
"You two should be able to tell by now when there's a living person right under your noses"
Suddenly a gunshot rang out.
