The village chief smiled widely as (Y/N) continued to become swarmed by the village kids, each and every one of them begged and fought with all their might solely for the teenager's attention, making all the other adults nearby fondly smile at the sight along with him, "that girl really is the source of happiness isn't she?" He happily sighed.

Ever since people started to pay attention to her a few years back, they quickly found out how cheerful and infectious her personality was, though nobody knew who her parents were or which home she came from, before she happened, nobody would bother keeping track of the kids since there were so many, but (Y/N) slowly managed to take a place in each of the rebels hearts, making each and every one of them adore her.

"Okay, okay ya little runts, let go of my best friend" some women nearby whistled at the redheaded teenager's words and made the giggling (H/C) coo in amusement, Eustass Kidd was her childhood friend and was always close to her through thick and thin, even though he found it a bit weird at first how she had so many wounds when they first became acquainted.

Those wounds were now faded scars that coated her body like tiger stripes, mildly enchanting all the boys and girls alike who were her age in the village and at the same time frightening them, "oh no!! Save me sir Kidd! I've been kidnapped by a hoard of tiny goblins!" (Y/N) then continued to drape herself all over one of the kids gripping onto her and smirked as Kidd grabbed a handful of sloppy mud, the kids soon doing the same.

"I declare a mud war!" Once that was shouted from his black lips, one child flung a mud ball directly into his face, making the (S/C) toned girl gasp before laughing her head off, not feeling bothered at all as she felt herself get coated in mud, "get her!" Kidd shouted with an evil grin on his face.

Before (Y/N) could even understand what he was saying with all the mud getting in her ears, she squealed in excitement as the others practically dived into the bath of earth and grit- before Kidd belly flopped right into the mess while dragging her down, each kid roared in delight before following suit with ganging up on the female, "ahh! N-no fair! This is cheating!" She giggled.

Though all of her cries were lost over the deafening laughs of the kids, but then they all started to scream and scatter as she got up and swung her fists around, nobody wanted to get hit by one of (Y/N)'s devastating punches.

Once all of the giggly kids fled from the messy scene, Kidd chuckled and mildly blushed at the sight of his longtime best friend, during the great clash, (Y/N) got mud in her eyes so they were tightly clenched shut as she continued to blindly swing her arms around, a deep red blush was overtaking her scarred cheeks making Kidd think she was absolutely precious, if only he could actually take up the guts to actually flat out confess to her and take her childish, fun loving heart for his own.

But Kidd was fine with still being friends with her, she was a complete riot after all, "wow (Y/N), you cleared the street in less then a minute" the girl only heartedly laughed at his comment before standing up and looking down at her mud soaked rags, "eh, wanna go take a shower at the waterfalls with me Kidd?" She bluntly questioned.

This made the older boy flush crimson while (Y/N) only began to walk off with a hum, "t-together? I-I don't know (Y/N), I almost died the last time.." Kidd almost felt blood rush to his nose remembering her current naked figure, although it seemed (Y/N) didn't get the message as they grew up bathing together, but once they entered the double digits, Kidd immediately started to react to sexual things that he would have ignored at a younger age, which includes the (H/C) haired girl's scarred body.

"Aww, come on Kidd! I don't wanna bathe alone" hearing her childish pout as she continued to walk further away, Kidd then imagined someone wandering into (Y/N)'s shower, all alone and naked....the thought scared the heck out of him, causing the teen to immediately rush to her side with a fiery blush, "I-I'm only doing this 'cause I don't want anyone walking in on you" that statement in his all seriousness made (Y/N) laugh in happiness.

Kidd felt himself go woozy as the two of them walked away from the falls, (Y/N)'s lack of shame and sexy body never ceased to fire up his livid hormones, much to his absolute horror, the poor redhead was seriously starting to worry that he might accidentally jump her one of these days and completely ruin their friendship.

But once again, the female tried to prove him wrong, "aw come on Kidd! Stop being such a pussy!" (Y/N) giggled in sarcasm, "I'm serious (Y/N)! I'm a boy, you're a girl, a very cute, innocent girl, one that I know is aware that I have no self restraint-" "and I know that you're aware that I can kick a guy's manhood off with one swing" that fact made Kidd protectively grip his bulge underneath his clothes and go ghostly pale imagining the pain that would follow such a powerful kick.

The sight of his frightened face made the (Y/N) burst into a fit of uncontrollable laughter, practically needing to lean onto Kidd to keep herself from collapsing into the dirt and ruining her now slightly more clean rags, "holy crap-hahaha! Whooooo! Kidd! I was only kidding, besides, it's not like I would really mind if you ever jumped me" she quipped.

Once again, Kidd felt a nosebleed trickle down his nose and pretended like everything didn't affect him as he covered it up with his loose collar, "(Y-Y/N)!!" How could she be so terribly honest and shameless!? At this rate the girl might as well jump him instead.

"What? I'm just being honest, I really like being friends with you, but I'd be cool with fucking with ya too...it's just sex Kiddo" she innocently raised her hands in all seriousness before continuing down the shadowy dirt path along the grassy hill, the wooden windmills slowly turned around them as the sun continued to set beneath the trees in the distance, thankfully hiding Kidd's mortified blush within the shadows, "god I love her bluntness" he graciously whispered, unknowingly being heard by her.
