I opened my eyes when I heard loud noises from outside. I got up immediately and looked out the window.

Shit!

The whole ILLICIT is already here and they got Kai. I quickly put my clothes on and ran downstairs. I saw the island was surrounded by boats and my family were not happy.

I ran towards my father who just punched Kai.

"Stop! Stop!" I screamed as I stood in front of Kai. I turned to my mother first because I know she will understand me.

"He really have the audacity to kidnapped you." I turned to Dalton and I turned to Kai to make sure he's okay. He was not okay and the punch that I saw was not the first punch.

"If you dare punch him again, I will go against you all." I said looking at my brother, father and my mother. Suddenly Kai grabbed my hand and he pulled me to the side.

"Go back in, I want to talk to them." He said looking at me straight into my eyes.

"Are you crazy? They will kill you!" I hissed and I tried to walk past him but he stopped me.

"Please. Please trust me." He begged and I looked at him disbelief.

"Go back and wait for me. I want to talk to them." He held both of my hands tightly and I found myself nodding. He gestured me to go and I walked back to the house.

Declan Serano

From the moment, he talked to Deandra with such power of her, I know I like him already. Deandra is a really stubborn and she will not listen to people. She has her own ways to stand on her ground.

The fact that she stood in front of him defending him already says a lot about this man's existence in my daughter's life.

He was brave enough to kidnapped her, he went against us for her and that's pretty impressive.

After he made sure Deandra got back into the house, he walked towards us. He wiped the blood from his corner lips and looked at me dead in the eyes.

"Mr. Serano, my name is Kai Moretti. I'm 27 years old and I own a tech company called LIZO in New York. I kidnapped your daughter because I don't have any other choice since she's so stubborn and won't talk to me."

"Then you must have done something wrong that hurt her feelings until she doesn't want to talk to you." I said and I could feel my wife tried to stop me.

"It was a misunderstanding. She misunderstood about my relationship with my ex-girlfriend and didn't want to talk about it." That's so Deandra and I could see her doing it.

"Then you should have your ex-girlfriend be taken care of!" I hissed coldly.

"Already took care of that and it won't happen again."

"I don't like you for my daughter." I said.

I turned to Kai after my husband said that he doesn't like him for Deandra. I'm really nervous for him because his answer will be pretty much crucial.

"May I know the reason, sir?" He asked.

"You kidnapped my daughter because she doesn't want to talk to you. It's obvious that you hurt her. I don't tolerate that." Declan said.

"She has a really stubborn personality. She didn't want to listen to my explanation because all of it was just a misunderstanding. She has a habit of running away and not want to listen. I'm in love with your daughter, sir. I will make sure to find a way to talk to her and clear things up."

"I gave her a chance to talk it out but she chose the hard way. I know you know your daughter really well and I don't want to hurt her either. That would be the last thing I want to do." That was impressive.

"I checked your background, you don't have a good relationship with your family. Why is that?"

"My family always been verbally abusive to me since I was a kid. They wanted me to go according to them. They wanted me to be their perfect kid and I couldn't give them that. I don't have a bad relationship with them, it's just I rather not talk to them." He answered it just the way we wanted to her.

"I know you have the capability to kill me and bury me anywhere in this earth, sir, but I'm ready to take a big risk. I can't live without your daughter, she makes me happy and really bring out the best in me. I hope you could give me a chance to proof it to you."

"I'm taking my daughter back whether you like it or not." Declan said and he gave a sign to his men to get Deandra. They brought Deandra out as she kept trying to beat them up.

Declan gestured Deandra to come to us. Declan's men brought her and he gestured them to let her go.

"Is he the reason why you beat Kelliane up in Monte Carlo?" Declan asked Deandra.

"Yeah." Deandra answered and my jaw just dropped to the floor.

"Why?"

"Because I was jealous. Kelliane claimed she was hanging out with him and slept with him." Oh my lord..

"We're going back to Paris, you are not going to see my daughter again." Declan said and Kai stood in front of Deandra preventing Declan from grabbing her.

"What? You dare to go against me?" Declan asked and I stopped him.

"Declan." I said and he turned to me. I shook my head and Declan turned to Kai.

"I'll go back to Paris in two days. It's been weeks since I pushed him away. I missed him, we can talk it out in Paris." Deandra said and I was shocked.

"You need to consider him, father. For once, there's a man who treat me right. I was the one with big fat ego who don't want to admit it." She added.

"If he can find a way to kidnap me once, he will for sure find another way to kidnap me for the second time. Stopping me from seeing him is not a good idea."
