Rell's P.O.V:
Finally.
After all the back and forth, the dang lady was taking me to my room.
Not really my room because she had to call some dude, whose name I can't really remember, to ask if I could share a room with him.
Then yada yada yada, I was in and we were now headed to the room.
On the way there, I caught a glimpse of other people's rooms.
They were pure white with two beds and a study desk to go with each bed. There was a small kitchen setting and from what I could see, I guess two bathrooms and two closets.
Yap, I could survive with that. As long as the dude didn't bring his flings around for some midnight fun.
We walked for a while and I didn't fail to notice how far it was from the other rooms; kind of secluded. It's like the dude wanted some sort of privacy or something.
As the lady opened the door, I waited patiently behind her with my luggage. The door was similar to the other doors the only difference being the lock.
Well, it had a key card but I could tell that the technology used was different from the other ones.
It had a really familiar logo on it but I couldn't place a finger on where I had seen it before.
She walked in and followed right behind her with all my luggage in hand but stopped when she turned the lights on.
I literally dropped everything I was holding and no, this is not a figure of speech.
I was simply awe-stricken at the mere sight of the spacious room.
"Okay, so the room on the right is out of bounds, some equipment requires certain codes for usage but I gave him your number so he'll send them to you.
I think that's all. Uhmmm... did you hear me?" she snapped two fingers in front of my face.
"Yeah... yeah, I heard you," I replied, snapping out of my half-dazed state.
"If you need anything just call the front desk," she told me and left the room.
I could finally gape freely at the vast room.
The place was amazing, everything looking precisely placed to the millimetre.
The whole room was decorated in black and grey.... this place is in no place to be called a room though. This is a whole damned house.
The couches were placed in a quadrangular manner, with one side open and amazingly aligned with the black glass coffee table before them.
They were black leather couches with a poofy nature, looking soft enough to bounce on. They were shiny and looked comfortable enough to spend the night on.
The flat screen TV on the wall was huge and extremely clean. It looked new and untouched to the point of looking like it was set on the wall by people in gloves.
But what caught my attention was the logo on the TV. It was the same as the one on the lock of the door.
I walked to what looked like the dining area and ogled at the perfectly designed furniture.
The table was also black glass with black wooden legs and a thin black silk table cloth lining the glass.
The chairs had soft, dark grey linings for sitting on; the back rests and arm rests having the same lining.
The remaining parts were just black and wooden with flowery designs.
They all seemed kingly, the top of the backrests having the same exquisite designs.
Sliding further into the roo- ... house, there was a breakfast bar that was nicely colored. It was all the same black but it was still as appealing.
It's countertop was porcelain with little splashes of grey at certain places making it look utterly beautiful.
The bar stools took the same design as the dining chairs... and they could swivel. They had levers for adjusting the height level of the stools and a metal bar each for placing your feet on.
The bar itself looked like the separation between the dining area and the kitchen.
The kitchen was... marvellous.
It was like this was the room that got most attention.
I walked around, deciding to scrutinise my favorite room in any house to the micrometer even.
I started with the cabinet.
They were shiny, the doors beautiful and black; just begging to be touched.
The hinged sides were, funny enough, at the top, on the side of the ceiling.
They had no handles wither. How in the world do-
I cut my own thoughts short when I pushed down on the opposite side of the hinges and it opened.
The process of just watching it open intrigued me and made me wonder what kind of technology was used to make the thing.
Not to mention the amount of money used on making it.
It slowly and smoothly raised, the door moving mechanically upwards until I could see everything inside the cabinet.
The inside was grey with the parts that made the shit work hidden in between the wooden sides on either side.
It was both funny and amazing how I stood there staring at the metallic bar that held up the cabinet's door, trying to figure out how it worked. Considering everything was hidden in the wood, I gave up at some point.
I searched for a way to close it and saw a button with... the same logo I kept seeing all over the house in its corner.
I pushed it and apparently, there was also an inbuilt fan in the cabinet that probably kept the shit in it cool.
The door came slowly down and closed without a single sound; all smooth.
I had to open and close all the cabinets because... why not? And after I was done, I felt pretty satisfied.
I stepped over to what I assumed was the fridge which was next to another similar what I assumed was the freezer.
They were both huge... black of course and shiny.
And as of protocol, I had to inspect them and see how much I need to put in here; stocking the fridge assuming there has been no one living here for the summer.
Neither of them had handles either so I repeated what I had done with the cabinets and to my delight, it worked.
The fridge slowly opened and I was graced by four compartments.
Each of them were clearly labelled in beautiful cursive, begging me to open them.
Fruits, vegetables, junk and beverages.
It seemed quite extravagant and what bamboozled me most was the fact that there was actual food in there.
It all seemed freshly stocked considering the frozen pizza was expiring in in two months.
And it all looked really expensive... simply out of my league.
That made me question again.... who the hell lives in this house?
I wanted to have a taste of all the drinks I there but I still had the rest of the... house to explore.
