Part 6

Supper
Arabella's POV

"Practice today was so good, if we practice like that everyday, we will definitely win." Shawn says to Harry.

We are currently seated at the dining room table eating supper, me in my usual seat of course, with Harry sitting directly opposite me.

He is engaged in some conversation about football with Shawn and my parents while I just sit there and listen.

Unintentionally, I look up from my plate, my gaze landing on Harry, giving me the chance to take him in for a few minutes.

He's got the most beautiful side profile, which is very close to perfect, and the way he smiles in the conversation allows his dimples to become more prominent.

My cheeks flush pink as I see Harry wink at me before returning back to his conversation, causing me to look down at my plate completely flustered and embarrassed that he caught me looking at him.

Arabella Mendes' POV
[Saturday Afternoon]

"Harry was here the other night." I tell Mackenzie, causing her eyes to widen and smirk at me.

"Not like that, that wouldn't even make sense." I say nudging her slightly.

"So then? What happened?" She asked waiting for my response.

"He stayed with for dinner." I said shrugging. "Literally nothing happened, I still barley know who he is."

"Something must have happened." she says.

"I walked right into him and fell on my bum in the middle of the dining room and kitchen." I say feeding her useless information that wouldn't actually be considered as drama, but to her anything counts.

She laughs at my clumsiness and before i get the chance to speak again, Tom jumps out of nowhere making me clutch my chest in fright.

"Not nice." I pout while he laughs before running away from me, knowing very well that I will chase after him.

As I run through the house into the kitchen after him I hear my mom speaking to my friends making me huff.

"Did she finally get a boyfriend?" My mom asks them as I walk to join them.

"Not yet but I wouldn't cross it off the list just yet." Adley teases causing me roll my eyes again.

"Very funny. Now a movie or what?" I say leading them to the movie room.

Back to the tour, I suppose? This is our movie room. You'll find me in here often, watching Netflix on a Saturday night and any other day of the week if I'm completely honest.

"So who's picking the movie?" I ask, plopping down onto one of the super comfortable bean bag cushions.

After a quick argument between Mackenzie and Adley, we landed up watching Now you see me. A classic.

"I need Dave Franco ." I say during the movie.

Dave Franco, my celebrity crush. Like have you seen him, honestly? I'll have to show you my camera roll another time.

"You've got Harry Styles." Mackenzie laughs.

"You do?" Tom asks looking at me, me looking at Mackenzie with the same confused expression.

"I do?" I say simultaneously. "I don't." I say turning to him with my arms up, reassuring him.

"I'd hope not, that'd be odd."

"Would it really though? I mean I think they'd be a cute couple." Mackenzie says making my eyes widen.

"Oh look, Dave Franco is back." I say trying to avoid that awkward conversation. After the movie finished, I switched off the projector before we all went to my room.

"I love your room, it's like my dream room." Mackenzie says sitting, moving the curtain to sit in my 'chill space', while Tom sits on the couch next to me, with my head resting in his lap and Adley on my bed.

"Well I'd love to just lie here forever, but we've got to be there in two hours, and knowing Bella, she still doesn't know what to wear." Mackenzie says, making me giggle.

Maybe I don't have the best party outfits for high school. My closet is more filled with chilled hipster clothes then 'sexy' clothes if you'd call them that.

I hope you're not expecting a three hundred and sixty degree flip, because that's not happening. This isn't some romance novel, where the nerd suddenly turns into the popular girl, although I'm a total sucker for those movies.

So after an hour an a half, of showering, dressing , doing makeup and waiting for my hair to dry, I was finally dressed.

"Smile." Tom says to me, while we're standing on my balcony.

Don't judge, I'm sure you all have photoshoots with your friends before going out.

"Great smile you got there Bella, ever considered becoming a model?" he laughed sarcastically.

"Models are pretty so no." I say walking back into my bedroom.

"Well now you're talking rubbish." He says making me scoff.

"Now that you're done can we go?" Adley asks, we all nod and go to the car.

"Can I see the photos?" Adley asks.

"Okay taking over my job I Tom?" I tease him, nudging his side.

"Bella, you better post that." Adley says

"You should become a model."

"Okay not this again." I say making Tom chuckle.

"Here's one of Tom, even though he didn't want one." I say showing them the one I took of him.

"I didn't consent."

"Oh please it's a photo, a very good one at that so hush."

This is going to be an interesting night. Can I leave already?

As we find a parking spot, I start to wonder why there's so many cars. This isn't a party right?

"Relax Bella, it's okay." Adley says, calming my inner thoughts before I even have the chance to say anything.

As I hop out the car, waiting for the girls and Tom, I look up at the familiar neon sign, on top of the diner.

Welcome to Rosie's Diner, our schools Saturday night hangout since the 80's. This is probably the only place you'll catch me on a Saturday day night if I'm out of the house.

"Come on, Tyler is inside." Mackenzie says eagerly, dragging us inside. Well mainly me, because frankly id love to get back in the car.

It's nice right? It's got a vibe to it that I can't explain. The diner tonight however, looked a bit different, there were people everywhere, and I mean everywhere.

"You said it wasn't a party!" I exclaimed to them.

"I may have lied." Mackenzie smiled slyly before pulling me towards the crowd.

"You'll be just fine, you have to get out more, maybe found yourself a hottie." Adley said winking at me, causing me to roll my eyes.

"Sure." I scoff making her laugh.

"Tom you better stay with me." I say trying to turn back to face him, while still being pulled in the opposite direction by Mackenzie, trying not to lose him in the crowd.

Blaring music, alcohol, smoke, crowds everywhere. Incase you haven't noticed, and yes I might have told you earlier on, I'm claustrophobic, so this, this isn't good. Everyone is so close to me.

"Just relax, everything's going to be fine." Mackenzie says as I start worrying and becoming dizzy while my breathing shortens in the middle of the crowd.

"Bella are you alright?" Tom asks, looking at me with a concerned look in his eyes.

"I think I need some space." I say fanning myself and trying to focus on something  in the dizzy room.

"I'm sorry, I forgot." Mackenzie says, however I brush her off because it clearly isn't her fault.

Tom leads me out of the crowd towards the other room the other room but suddenly stops in his tracks.

"Harry." Tom coughed, while I was again standing behind him, still a bit dizzy and holding onto him while Chloe is latched onto Harry again

For a split second Harry looked up, only focusing on Tom, rolling his eyes and returning immediately back to Chloe.

"Harry seriously, Arabella needs air." Tom says, a hint of worry could be heard in his tone.

Harry pulls away from Chloe and walks into the crowd at the party, with his eyes meeting mine and searching them intently before our gaze breaks apart.

The way we always catch each other's gazes and almost cant move away is confusing me.

After about 10 minutes outside my breathing returned to normal and I was used to the atmosphere of the diner.

"How about you be you show off your moves ballerina and come dance with me Adley and Kenzie." Tom says smiling causing me to laugh.

For some reason I agreed and went to the open space between tom and Adley.

After about an two hours or maybe it's  been three, it was time for me to leave, Mackenzie and Adley had already had something to drink, and Tom had left about half an hour ago. I turn my head round just to look for Shawn to see if he could take me home.

I spot him by his jacket in the booth and walk towards him. He's got an arm around some girl, who looks familiar but probably isn't and is talking to someone.

"Yeah, I get you man, but you and her have been together for long." My brother replied.

"Together, no. On and off I guess you could say. Shawn, I really am over it but I do love her."

I think I should actually go up to them instead of eavesdropping.

"Shawn, can you please take me home?" I asked him, causing the girls head snapped up at me giving me a death glare. Okay chill, he's my brother.

"Sorry Kiddo, don't have my car here, styles gave me a lift ." He says gesturing to Harry who was sitting opposite him. I immediately look away from Harry, focusing my gaze back on Shawn and the girl sitting next to him.

Her death glare continues at Shawn's attention towards me and lack of attention on her her, which was actually quite funny.

Like we're sibling, can you not see?

I finally sighed, realizing that I still had no lift. I mean I guess I can just call a cab or some-

"I can take you home love." The deep British voice said.
