I smiled as I snuck out of my room and walked to the lake to meet up with Jean. I laughed as I saw him with some bottles and a picnic basket.

"Hey." I said leaning up and hugging him.

"Glad you made it." He said with a smile.

I set down beside him and laughed as he handed me a bottle. I leaned back on my hands and smiled as I look up at the stars.

"Jean.... do you ever think there could be more out there than fighting titans?" I asked softly.

"Of course... there is you and me." He said taking my hand.

I smiled as we finished our drinks and I tried to stand only to fall. I felt Jean put his arms around me and I laughed as he helped me stand up.

"Dance with me!" I exclaimed as I took his hands and had him spin me.

I laughed as I turned to look at him and felt him pull me against his chest and we slowly danced. I smiled as I looked up at him and leaned forward and went to press my lips against his.

"I think you should rest." He said stopping me.

I let out a groan as we left and he helped me to my room. I smiled as I looked up at him and open my door.

"Wanna come in?" I asked softly.

"I think you should get some rest." He said with a smile.

"Alright." I said as I turned and went into my room.

I shut the door and smiled as I went to bed.

It had been five years since that night and I smiled as I stood in my room looking into a mirror. I had on a long white dress and my hair was up and had flowers in it.

"Knock knock! It's me Sasha, is the bride ready?" Sasha asked with a smile.

"I don't think I have ever been more ready in my life." I said with a smile.

I smiled as Levi stood at the door and waited for me.

"Ready sis?" He asked softly.

"Ready." I whispered as we started to walk.

I smiled as I saw Jean standing beside Connie and Eren. Levi handed me over to Jean and sent him a glare as he walked over to his seat.

"Do you Jean Kirstein take (Y/n) Ackerman as your wife? To have and to hold, in sickness and in health?" Erwin said with a smile.

"I do." He said softly.

"Do you (y/n) Ackerman take Jean Kirstein as your husband? To have and to hold, in sickness and in health?"

"I do." I said with a smile.

"Your vows." He said backing away.

"(Y/n).... I knew I loved you that night five years ago. But I never wanted you to know. Because I use to be scared of letting go. I know now that I need you, and I'm not scared to let it show. I wanna stay with you until we're grey and old." He said with a smile.

"Jean.... I'm so in love with you and I hope you know that your love is worth more its weight in gold....We've come so far and I know we've grown.... Your stuck with me until we're grey and old." I said with a smile.

He laughed and when Erwin said he could kiss me he leaned down and pressed his lips against mine. We pulled away and I smiled as I looked up at him and kissed him once more before we left for our honeymoon.

It wasn't long after we had two kids, a boy and a girl. We named them after Sasha and Marco. I smiled as I saw them run down the stairs and sit at the table.

"Morning you two." I said with a smile.

"Morning momma!" They exclaimed as they drank their orange juice and then ate breakfast.

"Morning!" Jean exclaimed as he walked up to me and kissed my forehead.

"So are you taking them or me?" I asked with a smile.

"I'll do it. Tell Captain Levi I'll be late." Jean said as he grabbed the kids bags.

I smiled as I watched him leave with the kids and I got cleaned up and left for work. After work I arrived home to see Jean cooking. I smiled and wrapped my arms around his waist.

"I love you." I said leaning up and pecking his lips.

"I love you more." He whispered as he pulled me into a deep kiss.

"Dance with me." I whispered as I took his hand.

He laughed as he swayed me back and forth and our kids ran up to us and we both danced with them.

I had just turned seventy and I laughed as I saw Jean playing with our grandchildren. The war had ended and we had defeated the titans. Levi had passed away three years ago, leaving his and Hange's grandchildren to carry their name. Eren passed away during the war, Mikasa ended up marrying a man in our squad and Armin was married to Historia until he was killed by a titan. Connie and Sasha had gotten married and had one son before Sasha was killed by a sniper.

"Gran gran!" A voice yelled.

I laughed as I saw my granddaughter run up to me and sit on my lap.

"How is my favorite granddaughter?" I asked with a laugh.

"I'm your only granddaughter!" She squealed with a laugh.

I smiled as Jean walked up to us and set down beside me. Marco walked up to us and leaned against the stairs with a smile on his face.

"Is your sister Sasha with you?" Jean asked looking around.

I felt a lump in my throat as I took Jean's hand and smiled at him.

"No dad she couldn't make it here." Marco said softly.

Jean smiled brightly as he went in and started to make tea.

"I see he is getting worse." Marco said softly.

"He doesn't even remember that she was killed during the battle..... he asked me yesterday when Eren and Armin would be coming.... I didn't have the heart to remind him that they where both gone." I said sadly.

After Marco left I went in and smiled as I saw Jean dancing across the floor. I laughed as he took my hand and spun me around.

"I love you." He whispered as he kissed my forehead.

"I love you more." I said softly.
