The alarm clock goes on on full volume, making your eyes shut open in distress. You took your phone on the desk beside and turned the alarm off. 7:30 it read. Woke up at the last alarm. Scratched your eye to remove all the eye dirt and dried tears from last night. Yep, you were still crying over your break up with Jean. It has only been five days when you saw him making out with a lady that he replaced you with. The memory just kept haunting you.

But today, today is different. Today you decided -well Hanji mostly- it's time to make a change, which is a must. Today you'll be going back to work. Yes, you haven't been working ever since the break up. It strucked you really hard and your boss decided to give you a break until you fix yourself. The consequences though are a pile of work, but you took it anyway. You really needed that break.

Stepping out of your bed you head straight to your bathroom to take a warm soothing bath. Relaxing, but it didn't remove all the stress you're feeling. Stepping out of the shower you went to dry yourself and wore your usual clothes for work. A pencil skirt, button up shirt and a coat. For the shoes you wore your black doll shoes with 2 inches heels. Not that you wanted to wear any of these, its the company's dress code.

"I'll just skip breakfast for today..." You mumbled to yourself and left your unit with your bag and car keys in hand. You used the elevator to get to the parking lot. You headed straight to your car and started driving to your work place. It wasn't that far from where you live. Maybe just a 20 minute drive. Putting on your favorite tunes as you drive yourself all the way to your work.

"I hope I wouldn't mess up." You said.

Finally arriving at your work. You parked at the underground parking and went to your office using the elevator. You patiently stood there and waited for the floor you're assigned in, 30th floor. You sighed as the elevator stopped at a few floors making not just you but the other workers feel irritated. When you finally reached yours you quickly left the elevator and went to your office.

Which was your boss' office.

You stood in front of that big ass wooden door for awhile and got inside as you finally gathered all your thoughts. Opening the door you see your boss sitting on his desk signing some papers. You couldn't really focus on the details because of the huge window behind him. The sun rays made it harder to focus on his features. He looks up to the door and sees you.

"Ms. Ral.. You may take your leave. My original assistant has returned." He said not looking at your replacement.

"Can't I just work for you?" The ginger haired girl said.

"No, now leave." Levi said with his usual cold monotone. The girl huffs and left while giving you a nasty look. You simply stared at her confused. Shutting the door behind you, you went to greet your boss.

"Good morning Mr. Ackerman." You said with a smile. He hummed in response.

"Mm may I ask who the girl was?" You chuckled.

"Erwin said to find a temporary assistant. She was the only available. Had no choice." Levi shrugged. You can clearly see how annoyed he is.

"I'll get back to work." You said and went to your desk and sort out the paper work.

You heard a knock on the door while concentrating on your work. Slightly distressed that someone was about to go in. You looked at your boss and he nods at you. You gave a little sigh and stood up from your chair and opened the door. Without even noticing who the person was, you were pinned down on the ground.

"[F/n]! You're back!" Hanji squeals.

"What now shitty glasses." Levi said not even bothering to look at her. Hanji stood up and grabbed your hand to help you up.

"Aheh." she fixes her glasses. "Erwin invites us for a little drink after work. You in?" Hanji said.

You went back to your seat and continue your work. Hanji simply stared at the raven haired male, waiting for a response. Levi sighs and hums in agreement.

"Great! See you at the bar! Oh and [F/n], you're coming too." Hanji said.

"Wha--" Before you could even finish your sentence she shut the door as she left.

"Would you let me go sir?" You asked Levi. He looks at you and nods.

"You're my assistant anyway." He said.

'it's not even work hours how could you still consider me as your assistant.' You thought. You let out a long sigh and began to continue your work.

You waited Levi outside of his office with all your things in hand. One of your office mates greeted you goodnight and goodbyes. Levi steps out of his office and headed to the elevator. The both of you went inside and waited until you reached the ground floor. The trip was very silent making you uncomfortable, specially your with you boss. Alone.

You went to the parking with Levi and entered your car. You waited for Levi to leave and began to follow behind him all the way to the bar. And once you did reach your destination, you followed behind Levi all the way inside. From afar you see your boss' and other co-workers.

"Eeeey you guys made it!!" Hanji said already with a bottle of beer in hand.

"A shot and a frozen margarita." Levi said to the bartender completely ignoring Hanji and sat on one of the stools.

"Margarita? Pfft! Make it 2 shots!" Hanji demands.

"What if she doesn't want it?" Levi said. You just looked at them and shake your head refusing to drink.

"Oh trust me, she'd want that. Right [F/n]?! RIGHHHT! A SHOT FOR THE LADY MR BARTENDER!" Hanji shouts making Levi cringe.

"N-no I'm ok--"

"Nonsense [F/n]! We're here to have fun!!" Hanji took the shot and handed it to you. You sigh and raised the shot glass a little higher then you drank the whole thing. You shut your eyes and bit your lips at how strong and bitter the drink was.

"Drink as many as you like, we got you covered." Erwin added.

-- another time skipuuu after a few drinks --

"One more!" You shout to the bartender and Hanji clapping at the back.

"THATS MY GIRL!!!" Hanji shouts making Levi even more irritated.

As you were drinking the alcohol you've just ordered. You felt a slight tap on your shoulder. You turn to look at the person and dropped the glass as you saw who it was.

It was Jean.

"What are you d-doing here?" You manage to say already feel like crying.

"I've come to apologize and fix things with you." Jean said to you.

"What are you trying to do?" You asked just to make sure what he really wants.

"I want to get back with you." Jean said.

You sat there not even saying anything. You didn't even know if you were feeling happy or even get mad. You didn't know what to say, instead you burst out crying making your co-workers look at you in shock.

"You left me and now you want me back...?" you said.

"I know I've made a mistake but i realized--"

"Leave me alone." you said.

"C'mon [F/n]--" you cut him off.

"I said leave me alone!!" Jean just stood there looking at you. He was about to touch your shoulder but Levi slapped it away.

"She told you to leave, horse face." Levi said.

"Stay away from this." Jean eyed Levi.

"No, you stay away from this. She's not your business anymore." Levi said.

"And you think its yours?"

"She works for me."

"Its not even work hours anymore." Jean said while pulling you out from the chair.

"Don't even try to touch her." Levi said and punch Jean on the jaw.

"She told you to leave. Now leave before i break your face." Levi said. Jean stared at him and glaces at you for the last time. He leaves the bar with a bruised on his face.

You placed your head on the table and cried your eyes out. Levi felt bad as he saw you like this. He saw how broken you were. He went up to you and pats your back awkwardly.

"I want to go home." You said. Levi heard you and nods.

"Hanji, I'll take [F/n] home. Drive her car when you leave." Levi said to Hanji while taking your car keys from your hand bag and giving it to Hanji.

"Oh~ have fun~" Hanji smirks.

"Its not anything like that pervert." Levi flicks Hanji's forehead. Levi helps you to walk all the way to his car. He sets you on the passenger seat and buckled you up. He starts the car engine and drive smoothly all the way to your condo.

You were still crying from what happened earlier. Levi being Levi he was supposed to tell you to keep quiet but he ignored it knowing your crying would help to cool you off.

"I was at the bar with Sasha five days ago." you began to speak. Levi hums signaling he was listening.

"I saw him making out with another girl... Its the one he replaced me with." you cried harder.

"Now he wants me back?! What kind of a person is her Mr. Ackerman?!" You said.

"An asshole." Levi sighs. Despite you were spilling tears all over Levi's car he didn't mind since you're already in deep pain. Levi parks in front of your unit's building and help you out. Locking the door he made his way to your condo and placed you on your bed, properly tucking you in. Half asleep but truly drunk, you grabbed Levi's wrist and started whining.

"Don't go..." You said to him making Levi's sharp eyes go wide.

"That won't be possible." Levi said.

"P-please Levi... I'm scared." You said already crying. He looks at you and sighs.

'until she falls asleep...' Levi thought.

Levi closes the lights and sits on the side. You scootch to the side to make more space to him. He awkwardly lies down next to you and stared at the ceiling. You placed your arm around him and dragged him closer to you. You smiled and yawned. Levi furrowed his eyebrows as he smells the strong aroma of alcohol coming from your mouth. You were really drunk.

Before drifting to sleep you nuzzled your head into his strong arms.

"I love youuuu~" you said making Levi nervous, but he pats your head instead and continued to stare at your ceiling.

You woke up with a severe headache. As if a hammer was just hitting your head over and over again. You rubbed your eyes to remove the dirt and to clear your vision. Once it did, you stared at your window and began to look around. Your eyes widened when you saw a man lying beside you. To make things even worse it was your terror boss.

'I thought he just dropped me off...' You thought as you remember the events from last night. Checking your surroundings if there were any evidences of sex. Good thing there weren't.

"Good..." You mumbled and sigh in relief. Levi began to move and open his eyes. He looked at you and furrowed his eyesbrows but his expression turned into shock when he realized he didn't leave your condo.

"Shit." Levi said as he began to walk away. You tried to grab his wrist but missed. You rolled out of the bed then accidentally hit your forehead on the edge of the door. Causing you to wince in pain. Levi heard you so he stopped and sigh. He went back to your room to check what just happened. You felt blood running down to your nose. Cussing at being how clumsy you were, you stood up and hurried back to your bathroom to get the first aid. Completely ignoring Levi's presence in the room all you care about right now is your injury.

"Let me help." Levi said entering the bathroom.

"A-ah! Its okayy sir hehe I got this..." You said dabbing a dry tissue on your forehead. Levi disobeyed and took the disinfectant spray and sprayed it on your forehead causing you to almost scream. The spray created bubbles meaning the germs are slowly dying. He placed a bandage on your forehead and left the bathroom.

"Don't go to work today. Get some rest." with that he left your home. You sighed and sat in your bed feeling embarrassed. What will your other co-worker have to say about this. Slept with your boss? No doubt Hanji knows about this.

-next day-

"Good morning sir." You greeted Levi as he entered his huge ass office. He hums in reponse and began to do his work. Looking at him he doesn't seem to feel any discomfort like you. Heading back to your desk, you continue to do your work and tried to shoo away the events that occured yesterday morning.

Your wrist watch buzzes signaling it's time for lunch. You get up and took your wallet already getting ready to buy lunch outside. Suddenly Levi went up to you and said

"Let's go on a lunch together [L/n]." Levi said.

"It's alright sir--"

"Please, Its the least I can do for making you go into that bar." Levi said. You looked into his steal gray-ish blue eyes and sigh in defeat.

"Thank you sir." You said and follwed behind him all the way to a near by café. You brought your wallet anyway in case you wanted something more.

For the past few weeks you've been eating out with your boss. When you decide to eat out alone you'll cross path on each other and he'll insist to eat with you. Also he always pays for the bill. No matter how many food you'd order or how pricey it was, he didn't mind paying for it. Sometimes he'd just have a cup of tea and watch you eat.

"Sir I really appreciate all this lunches but i think its time for me to pay--"

"Its okay, and call me Levi when we're outside. I'll call you [F/n] too." he said. You stared at him shocked but ignored it anyway. Its going to be tough as you said in your mind.

You sat on your balcony with a wine glass in hand and a phone on the other. Weekends were a time for yourself, pamper yourself. You'd rather stay indoors than going outside since you mostly go outside during weekdays. Just like going to bars after work...

You shiver as a cold breeze came by. Setting your phone down to enjoy the view, but minutes after your phone began to buzz since it was on silent. Looking at the screen to check at the caller ID it was none other than your boss, Levi.

Your hands began to sweat in nervousness. What is he up to now?

"L-levi?" You said answering the call.

"I'm at the door." With that he hung up leaving you confused and scared.

Slowly walking inside your place and heading to your door you peek at the peephole and saw Levi standing outside.

"Holy shit." You mumbled.

"I know you're there." Levi said. You sigh and hurriedly opened the door.

"What the hell are you doing in here?!" You whisper shout to avoid disturbing your neighbours.

"I want to spend my dinner with you." Levi calmly said. You stared into his steel blue eyes and he was dead serious. I mean, since when did Levi not take his words seriously. He had always been serious ever since you started working for him. You didn't know why but you just let him in. As he walked passed you your heart skipped a beat and made your cheeks pink.

'Why does he look a lot more attractive tonight...' You thought.

'good thing I cleaned my place today' You added.

Observing Levi he had a couple of paper bags in hand and set it on your kitchen counter.

"Have you eaten dinner?" Levi asked.

"Not yet actually..." You asnwered while staring at your wine.

"And yet you're already drinking alcohol." Levi clicked his tongue.

"Just a half glass, I wasn't really hung--"

"You hadn't done the groceries [F/n]." Levi said while shutting your fridge.

"I have instant noodles on the cupboard." You said gulping down the rest of the wine.

"You know you could die with this lifestyle." He said while removing the items on the paper bag which was food ingredients and sweets. Curious to know what he's doing so you just stood there and stare at him.

"Hope you like [Favorite Dish] and stop staring it's creepy."

"A-are you going to cook?" You ask him while entering your kitchen. Levi didn't say a word he just pulled out stuff from the drawers and began to open the stove.

"I-i see... Thanks." You said looking away making your blush even more visible.

"Just make yourself comfortable I'll be done in no time." He said. Looking back at him for the last time and let out a soft smile. You went to your dining table to set up placemats and plates for later.

You and Levi started to eat dinner and exchange stories from the past and small rumours that was lingering around the office. Good laughs and good stories were heard inside the place. He poured more wine on both of your glass and resumed eating.

"Hey Levi?" You said causing him to look into your eyes.

"Thank you." You flashed him a smile. It might be a smile but it was clear that it was sincere.

Levi sighs and slowly holds your hand on the table causing you to freeze on the spot. He didn't remove his eyes on you and slighty tighten the grip.

Your heart began to beat rapidly and the blush on your cheeks were very visible.

'It's been a while since i felt this...' You thought.

"[F/n]..." Levi said. There was a slight pause before he continue.

"It's not like me to say this but believe it or not I've been having feelings for you... As i remember it was your first year working for me. You knew how I like my tea. How I arrange my papers. How to take over during my absence. No one can top you and your beauty." He said still holding your hand.

"I believe you're beautiful inside and out. I am attracted to you and I want to know more about you." Levi cleared his throat.

"And ever since that horse broke you, I couldn't bare to see you like this and I wanted to do something about it I really do, I know I'm not good about these stuff but I really try. I will try my best to make you feel okay again. To feel that you can trust somebody again and to make you stronger and wiser than ever. I will help you to move on from all this pain." He said already making you cry. His words touched your heart and it was something you want from a guy. He did look sincere it felt sincere. It may be hard to trust someone again but trusting him a little might've help you.

"Will you go out with me [F/n]?" Levi asked. You burst out crying and slowly nodded your head as an answer. Levi stood up and gave you a hug, you hugged him back.

"Hey it's going to be okay now." He whispered on your ear. He took out his handkerchief and wiped off your tears. He looks into your eyes and gave a little smile which you saw for the first time. Levi Ackerman smiled and you're the reason why he did. He chuckled and gave a gentle kiss on your forehead.

This was the day that you were ready to move on. To start a new chapter in your life.
