It's a rainy night young Witcher is riding on the trail with his horse name Shadow. But he stopped when he smelled blood and he turns to see a small house on the left.

He road his horse up to the house and stopped right in front of it. The young Witcher saw some hoof prints, large foot prints but one was in the mud a bit more than the others were.

The Witcher gets off his horse walking up to the door as he knocked. He waits patiently but no one came and he unsheathes his steel sword then opens the door slowly.

When he opened it, he sees two bodies on the ground. One was a male leaning against the wall by the door and the other one was a female that laid on her side. He guessed that they were married.

He didn't hear anything else in the house as he sheathed his blade before looking around for clues on what happened here.

Witcher: "I should look around."

The Witcher activates his senses as he spots some red areas in the room. First he went to the table and saw yarn nettings on the table and two chairs were back where two people were sitting.

The Witcher found something interesting on the table of a symbol on a cloth. He looks at it to see it was a circle with three swords that look like a triangle.

Witcher: "Family heirloom, maybe. But what does the symbol mean?"

He puts it in his pocket before he walks over on the other side to see potato skins on a cutting board.

Witcher: "Seems like someone was cutting up potatoes for dinner."

Walking over to the chairs again he spots little footprints and he crouched down and touch the spot.

Witcher: "A footprint... a small girl. Seems like she was shocked of something."

The Witcher walked over to the entrance as he looks at the bodies on the ground and examines them a bit. He sees a knife wound through the man's gut. He looks over at the lady to see a axe wound next to her shoulder and neck. He saw the dead female's footprints all over the place on the ground as if she was trying to stab the person but failed to. Looked like she was turning around to where the little girl was too.

Witcher: "The man opened the door. Thought it was someone who he was waiting for but turned out to be bandits. He got stabbed in the gut and he fell to the ground leaned against the wall dead. The lady tried to avenge her husband running over to the man who killed him. She was struggling and looked back to the girl who I think was her daughter but the daughter didn't move. She was shocked on what happened. But then, the guy with an axe finished her off. The girl isn't dead it seems. Can't find anything else. Better look outside."

The young Witcher walks outside and went over to the spot where a couple of horses were at and it looks like they were heading north.

Witcher: "Got a trail to follow."

He gets on his horse as he follows the trail up a bit and spot another house that looks to be where the prints are going.

Bandit 2: "Hey, is she really going to be worth anything?"

Bandit 1: "We killed both of her parents to nab her... Take a good look at her."

The second bandit walked up to the girl pushing her on her back to see blood on her lips and still shock on what happened.

Bandit 2: "Not bad, but she's still just a kid. Doesn't strike my fancy."

Bandit 1: "I don't care about your tastes. She's a oriental. In the past, there were different human races. She's the last descendent of a family that escaped from the orient. We'll auction her to some perverted patron at the underground market of the capital. The other orientals have been wiped out, so she should fetch a handsome price."

Bandit 2: "He father didn't look like a oriental. I doubt she's pureblood.

The first bandit slam his feet on the floor with a smirk before saying to him.

Bandit 1: "Exactly. Her mom would've been real jackpot! You had to freak out and kill her!"

Bandit 2: "I- I didn't have a choice! She was putting up a fight!"

Bandit 1: "Is that your excuse?!"

Just then, they heard a knock at the door as the two freeze.

???: "Excuse me? Is anyone there? I'm I'm lost and can't find away home."

The first bandit gave his second partner a nod to go over to the door to check who it is. The second guy nodded as he walks over to the door shutting it behind him and walked over to the exit and opened the door.

He expect a grown person but all he was was a kid wearing a cape or some sort looking down at the ground.

Bandit 2: "What the hell are you doing here kid?!"

Kid: "I... was lost and the corpse eaters are out at this time. I got scared and saw this house. Can you let me in?"

Bandit 2: "A kid shouldn't be wondering around out there on this time. Monsters about and wolves. But you won't have anything to worry about if he come us agh!"

The kid pulled out his sword he hid behind him and stabbed the man through the chest with it. The man looked at him in shock as the kid... no a Witcher put his hood down to reveal him having viper like eyes.

Kid: "Only monsters out here is you."

He takes his blade out of the guy and sliced his head off making blood paint the walls. The Witcher grabbed the head by the hair picking it up before going to the other room.

Bandit 1: "Hey what's taking so long over there?!"

The Witcher walked into the room opening the door causing the guy to jump out of his seat aiming his weapon at him.

Witcher: "Sorry, doesn't look like your friend is any condition to fight."

Bandit 1: "What did you do to him?"

The Witcher threw the head where the guy could see and the guy saw the head of his friend in pure shock.

Bandit: "You... monster."

Witcher: "And what does that make you? You're the bigger monster here."

The Witcher turns to the girl on the ground who was watching him and he told her.

Witcher: "Close your eyes."

She did as she was told as he walked over to the guy to finish him off. She could struggling and then heard a scream and then a thud onto the ground.

She then felt her hands loosen from her hands being bound and she opened her eyes to see the person in front of her that saved her life.

???: "There you go. What's your name?"

He asked her as she rubbed her wrist and looked at the person in front of her. She sees them wearing some type of armor and has viper like eyes and scars on his face.

Girl: "Mikasa. Who are you?"

???: "Mikasa? Beautiful name. I'm Sebastian of Rivia."

She gave him a nod but still a bit shaken on what happened and then she realize something.

Mikasa: "There should have been a third man."

Sebastian looked at her confuse but then he starts to hear footsteps behind him but it was too late to turn around as the guy grabbed him by the throat.
