Year 845, the year where the Colossal and Armored Titans suddenly appeared, destroying the wall, along with the life of civilians as we know it.

Humanity has abandoned Wall Maria, losing 20% of it's population and a third of  it's territory, and retreated to Wall Rose.

Now, Year 850...

Eren: Our counterattack... will start from now! *thunder striked*

The Colossal Titan has returned to demolish the peace of humanity once more.

Eren: Our target is the Colossal Titan before us! This is our chance! Don't let it get away!

The boy faces him with full bravery, no more hiding.

Eren: Hey there... It's been 5 years...

And the time for the stars, full of miracles to return.

*narrating end*

*opening starts*

Y/n saw that underneath the Colossal Titan, a large titan is coming in, so he unsheathes his blades and drops down to face it.

He begins to latch it on its eyes and the Titan screams in pain as it was trying to see its vision, It tries to grab the wire but it was too late as Y/n immediately unlatched it and fired the other to it's thighs.

He swings underneath its reproductive part which he hasn't one and targets the nape immediately by swinging upward.

Y/n: 'I'll destroy you!'

Y/n creates a 360-spin and slashes through the nape and the neck.

But then the Colossal is about to kick again.

Y/n: Get back!

Mina, Sasha who's still carrying the unconscious Samuel, Thomas and Connie responded as they drop to the roof of the houses and a kick from the Colossal to the wall; Y/n making him knockback to the shockwave it send. He was rolling to the floor and he gets up having his shoulder bone got hurt a little bit.

Eren: *yells* Y/n, are you okay?!

Y/n: Yeah! 'Still though, that hurts'

Y/n gets his heal shot, looking like a syringe.

(A/n: It looks like this)

Eren: *grits his teeth* You'll pay for that!

He runs to face him and the Colossal begins it's attack by swinging it's right arm to him.

Eren jumps at the right moment but the Titan didn't care as it was also targeting the cannons.

Eren latches up and swings to the Titans back to its left side

Eren: 'He was after the fixed cannons! It's no coincidence it went for the gate either... This thing really is... intelligent!'

The titan tries to grab Eren by his left hand but Eren evades it perfectly by going under its arm.

Eren: 'But this is our chance! *swinging himself upwards on its arm* He's the only one that can break the walls! *drops and runs to get closer* If I can kill him...!'

The Titan lifts its arm and Eren falls but he didn't let himself fall to the ground as he latched on to its upper back and swinging himself to its nape.

Eren: Too slow! *latched the other grapple hook* You're mine!

But in that moment as his blades will land on it's nape... The Colossal released a huge steam to not let him.

Eren: What?! *covers his face from the steam*

His ODM grapple muzzle begins to spark as he needs to act quick before it broke. Eren quickly pulls the trigger to boost himself.

Eren: Go!!!

Eren lands a huge slash but it only cuts the huge smoke steam, as he unveils that the Colossal Titan is gone.

Eren: 'I missed?' 

Eren quickly acts by launching it's cables again to the Wall.

Eren: No... The Colossal Titan vanished?

It only left it's gigantic footprints and the hole on the wall it made. Thomas calls out to Eren. 

Thomas: Eren! Did you defeat it?

Eren: No! It's the same as 5 years ago... He appears out of nowhere, and vanished just as sudden!

Y/n could hear Eren's realization, Y/n is running out of options. When Blake arrived and tell the situation.

Blake: You must get back to the HQ, they're about to make a debrief for this situation! Report back about this!

Mina, Sasha, Y/n: Yes, ma'am.

 She swings away to the HQ, and Y/n has decided he needs to get it, and have the humanity give a fighting chance.

Y/n: You ladies go ahead, I need to check something. *swings away*

Mina: But, Y/n... *Sasha taps her shoulder*

Sasha: Don't worry about him. He needs to check Eren's mom also. He's strong so don't worry.

Mina nodded and the two girls returned to HQ.

Meanwhile

Eren climbed back and has a face of defeat; that he didn't manage to beat it. Connie is still looking at the damage it caused.

Eren: I'm sorry. I let him get away.

Thomas: Why are you apologizing? The rest of us couldn't even move except for Y/n who  just managed to beat the Titans coming in first- 

Connie: Hey, it's not the time for discussion. The wall's been breached. If we don't patch it fast, the Titans will get in like before!

???: What are you doing?

Just then multiple ODM gears are inbound, the Garrison arrived to check upon the hole. The boys saluted.

Garrison: The contingency plan for the Colossal Titan has already begun. Your friends have returned already to HQ, so you must as well! Anyone who made contact with it, don't forget to report!

Eren: Yes, sir!

Connie: Best of luck to the advance team!

The bells have begun to rung and all citizens proceeded to evacuate and Y/n flies above them. 

Y/n: 'Carla is about to be fully healed in the next two months. That's good. But now with this situation...'

He shaked those thoughts away as he continues to fly and find a strong signal to command the launches of the mobile suit and armor set.

He sees the Garrisons are trying their best to control the evacuation but as he can see, it's not going so well.

Garrison (B): Keep all personal belongings to a minimum! Remain calm during the evacuation!

At the Hole

Many cannons and traps are laid at the interior, while on the exterior, they'll use the cannons as turrets.

Garrison (B): If they make it through, we'll relive the tragedy from 5 years ago! We stop the Titans, here and now!

They're manning the cannons and its angle.

Garrison (B): Prepare to intercept.

The supervisor checked and when they get it right, they get away and covered their ears.

Garrison (B): Fire!

The barrage shots managed to land some to the Titans. The Garrison commander ordered the call. 

Garrison (B): Attack!

All Garrison: RRRRRAAAAAHHHHH!!!

Cadet HQ

Cadet commander: You trainees have all passed the final training exercise, and now are full-fledged soldiers!

The cadets are now arming themselves to battle as the commander gives one advice for them.

Cadet Commander: We expect great things from you!

In the back, Hannah and Franz are worried about each other in the battle.

Franz: It's okay, Hannah... I'll protect you.

Hannah: Franz...

They embraced each other and Mikasa stops for a bit to see them. And then goes on to find Armin.

When she found him with Eren, she saw him shaking.

Eren: Are you okay, Armin?

Armin is trying to attach the nozzle that contains the gas for the ODM gas tanks, but he can't. He's shaking with fear, just like when he was a kid.

Armin: I-I'm fine. I'll get over it soon enough. B-But this is bad. We currently don't have the means to quickly patch an 8m. hole... Never even managed to dig up that big rock near the front gate! *struggling to fuel up the tank* Since we can't seal the hole, we'll have to abandon this town.

Outside the wall is getting worse as the Titans that have got shotted and can still move because they can't hit the nape. Some titans are even crawling at this point.

Armin: It's only a matter of time before they breach Wall Rose!

Some Titans that got shot square to the face are regenerating it's skin and muscle. The Garrisons are running away, some of them got eaten or even friendly fire from the cannons.

Armin: To begin with... they can wipe out humanity whenever they feel like it!

Eren: *holds Armin's wrist* Armin!

Armin snaps back to reality. As Eren calms him down.

Eren: Calm down... Things are different now. Humanity won't be defeated by the Titans anymore!

Armin: *mutters* I'm sorry. I'm all right now.

Eren forgot something

Eren: Where's Y/n,  anyway?

Mikasa: I didn't see him here.

Armin: I don't know...

On the gate of Trost, the Garrison stationed there, has lost their ground. They were eaten or worse, crushed by them.

Exterior of Wall Rose's Hole, Forest

Y/n is now outside where no one could see him.

Y/n: It should be here at any moment.

And right on cue, the sound of a container landing down to the ground outside.

The same Container from before, but this time it contains the 00 Core Gundam.

Its now stands up via the catapult lock. He jumps and gets in the Gundam. Pushing buttons for activation.

After activating it, he flies up. Y/n activated his coms, he can hear someone named Kitz Woerman, explaining the plan. Y/n just takes out a bottle of juice with a straw and drink it, while eavesdrop on their plan and seeing the members of Cadets and Garrisons.

Kitz: As practiced, you will now split into your squads and perform resupply, message relay, and Titan-clearing duties under the command of the Garrison Regiment! The Garrison Regiment's intercept squad will take the vanguard! The Cadets, led by the support squad, will take the middle guard! And the Garrison Regiment's elite squads will take the rearguard!

Y/n almost chokes and coughs into that plan, and wipes off his mouth. He puts the juice back into his inventory and lowers the volume of the coms. He tries to visualize via drawing and outlining about their plan.

Y/n: Wait, wait. So... *activates the holo-map* If this is Trost... then the Vanguard is here in this area... *marks the map of Trost with a green circle for the Vanguard squad* Mid guards are here... *marks the middle part of the map for the middle guard squad as a yellow circle* Rear guards are here... *marks the final 3rd of the Trost as a red circle*

He took time to analyze it and came up what the plan means.

Y/n: 'There are people on evac as of now. This operation involves 104th Cadet including myself and my friends and the Garrison. A joint op. They're gonna have to pick someone on Cadets to assist them on their positions. Elites will be on the rear, support with cadets on mid, and finally, interceptors will be on front. As of now, advance team has been outnumbered and died in the process... 

That's when he figured out their plan- using the weakest links meaning the whole 104th squads.

Y/n: *realizes* That idiotic commander...' *begans preparations*

Kitz: Additionally, I've received a word that the advance team has been wiped out! *Everyone gasps* The outer gate has been breached, and the Titans have been allowed inside! In other words, the Armored Titan or the Mechanical Titan could very well appear again and demolish the inner gate at any time!

Everyone mutters about the Armored Titan and the Mechanical Titan. Some don't believe that Mechanical Titan is an enemy of humanity, but the Armored Titan is. While others are opposite.

Daz: You can't be serious...

Thomas: You gotta be kidding me...

Cadet: If they end up breaching Rose too..!

Kitz: Quiet! The vanguard is currently engaged with the enemy! This defense operation has but one objective: to defend Wall Rose until the citizen have finished evacuating! Also, as  I'm sure you're well aware, desertion is punishable by death! Be prepared to lay down your lives! Dismissed!

All of the soldiers: Sir!

Everyone scattered and head out. While some still stayed, Jean is panicking.

Jean: Why today? I would've been on my way to the interior tomorrow...

Daz: *Vomiting*

Krista: *rubbing Daz back* Are you okay?!

Daz vomits again. Jean just ignored them and walks away.  Other Cadets are having a panic attack.

Cadet (G): No, no, no, no...

Jean walks and suddenly bumps Eren on the way. They looked at each other but Jean is still angry about his own personal issue.

Jean: Move!

Eren: Hey, Jean! What's wrong?!

Jean: "What's wrong?!" That's easy for you to say, you suicidal maniac! You want to join the Scouts! You're ready to be a Titan chow anytime! But I was headed for the interior tomorrow!

Eren: Calm down!

Jean: You expect me to calm down and accept death?!

Eren: No! Think back! *pushes Jean to the pillar* Think back to the 3 years of sweat and blood we endured! So many times we came close to dying during those 3 years! Some people did die. Some ran off. Others were kicked out. But we survived! Right?! I'm sure we can survive today, too!

Everyone heard Eren's words and looked at the two.

Eren: You can just survive today and leave for the interior tomorrow! 

Eren backs away and Jean and the others remembered Y/n's words also. He just walks away again and calls out Daz. 

Jean: Damn! Let's go, Daz! Quit your whining!

Daz: R-Right...

Mikasa: Eren. If the battle gets chaotic, come find me.

Eren: Huh? We're in different squads!

Mikasa: If the situation falls apart, things won't go according to plan.  I'll protect you!

Eren: What are you-

Ian: Cadet Ackerman. You're in the rear guard. Special Orders. Come with me.

Mikasa: I-I'm not skilled enough! I'll only be a burden!

Ian: I'm not asking for your opinion. The citizen's evacuation is behind schedule. We need as many elite soldiers near them as possible. *walks away*

Mikasa: B-But..!

Eren: Hey! *unintentionally headbutts her* Cut the crap, Mikasa! Quit freaking out like everyone else! Humanity's on the verge of extinction here! This is no time to go and impose your own selfish rules! 

Mikasa holds her forehead from the pain. When she listened to his words, she just frowns about it. Her face is being covered by her hair when Eren sees her.

Mikasa: I'm sorry. I wasn't thinking clearly. *saw Eren's getting into battle* I do have one thing to ask. Please don't die.

Eren nods and 

Eren: 'I ain't gonna die. I can't die yet! Because I don't know what this world is really like!'

Eren, Armin, Mina and Thomas are in position. They remember back then; the background about the Titans.

Flashback

The Instructor for Academics is talking about the Titans. Backgrounds and anything related to it.

Instructor: Surviving historical documents say nothing about the origin of the Titans. Mostly, everything about them remains unknown. The things we do know about now, including Titan ecology, are based entirely on the latest reports from the Scout Regiment. We've been unable to determine if the Titans possess human-like intelligence. As such, there've been no cases to date of mutual communication. 

But then someone asked about the certain being, the Gundam.

Krista: But sir, what about the Mechanical Titan?

Instructor: About that being. According to the Scouts, it possess a high intelligence so we can consider it has a human-like characteristics. They discovered it by seeing it at the dark night on their mission and wields a powerful weapon. In fact, we do know it can wield different varieties of weapons. They saw evidently, that it can replicate the ODM gear itself even though it has different weapons on it's body. It can communicate also with us, when unidentified citizen approached to it and asked it's name. And we can clearly hear that it can talk. 

Instructor: Titan physiology is fundamentally different from that of other living beings. They lack reproductive organs, and it is unclear how they reproduce, but they primarily possess male-like physiques. If we're comparing the Titans to that being. The titans have extremely high body temperatures, and perplexingly enough, they show no interest in anything but humans. But, the Mechanical Titan does not show an interest of devouring humans.

Instructor: Consuming people is the Titans' sole principle behavior, but given that they've existed for over a century in a human-less environment, we can surmise that the very act of feeding is unnecessary for them. In other words, it's believed that they are not motivated by predation, but by bloodlust. Unlike the Titan we encountered back then, it's not possessed the Titans' principles but motivated by neither predation or bloodlust, but by protecting it's people.

Instructor: And, most of all, the Titans' tremendous vitality is the primary reason, that humankind has been greatly overwhelmed. But it's hanging by balance for now because of the Mechanical Titan. Humanity has long possessed cannon technology, but that alone wasn't enough to combat them. Even when their heads are blown off, they won't die. Additionally, although there is some variability, their heads will fully regenerate in only a minute or two. But for the other is different, it's said that its powered up by the cone shapes they saw awhile back. The materials for it is extremely rare and it rumored that it's strong enough to shatter a knife or a long sword blade.

Thomas: You can't be serious...

Franz: Their size is bad enough as it is...

Marco: *raises its hand* Sir! Does that mean the Titans we're facing are immortal?! 

The Instructor begins to draw the back neck of the titan on the chalkboard.

Instructor: They're not immortal. There is only one way to defeat a Titan. *encircles the nape* You target here. When severely damaged here, a Titan will die without regenerating. *looks at the blades belonged to ODM gear* That's where these two flesh-pairing blades come in. *looks back at chalkboard and draws a cut drawing on how it must be killed* A successful strike to a Titan's weak spot with these will cause its immediate death, with no time to regenerate whatsoever. But, for the mechanical being, it will just shatter your blades. However, they said that don't make any silly, idiotic or reckless moves when you encountered it. Like what it said about that Titan, it protects humanity. But if ever he sees a human will try to crumble its own people, it won't hesitate to kill it. 

Eren is absorbing the knowledge deeply but he notices Armin is just shaking the whole time while listening.

Armin is still shaking, but only the eyes. 

Eren: Hey, Armin. This is the perfect chance don't you think? If we take care of business in this first battle before we've even joined the Scouts, we rookies will shoot up the ranks for sure! *smiles*

Armin just breathed and smiles also.

Armin: Yeah. No question about it.

Mina: Just so you know, you aren't the only ones in our class, who wanna join the Scouts.

Thomas: You beat us to the punch earlier, but you won't outdo or outsmart us this time!

Eren: Sounds like a challenge, Thomas!

Thomas: How about this, whoever takes out the most Titans wins!

Eren: Don't go messin' with the scores!

But then the Garrison gives the order.

Garrison (B): Squad 34, move out! Bolster the vanguard!

Eren: All right! Let's go!

Everyone: Yeah!

They all moved out rappelling and parkouring on rooftops using speed of their legs and ODM gears!

Eren saw the situation, it has many Titans surrounding it.

Mina: That many Titans?!

Thomas: The vanguard's been totally routed!

Cadet (B): What are they doing?! Those hotshots usually act all tough!

Eren: 'I figured things would be bad, but not like this!' *saw an Abnormal* 'An Abnormal!' Stop!

The Abnormal leaps high, they managed to dodge its leap and the Abnormal crashed to the tower.

Armin landed but in a bad timing, in result he almost broke his leg. The others landed on the roof, but Eren is hanging on. They saw the Abnormal hugging the tower. But something rather unfortunate happened that shattered their will and made Eren snapped.

The Titan has got Thomas.

Thomas: Huh?

Thomas got swallowed and it landed back on tis feet and continued walking.

Eren: *snapped* What the hell are you doing?! *lets go and boosts through to kill the Titan*

Armin: Eren!

Cadet (B): Don't go off on your own!

Armin just chases Eren and  the others followed to. Eren is running fast and chases the Abnormal down.

Eren: Get back here, damn it! You're gonna pay for killing Thomas! I won't let you get away! I won't! *gets in position* GRRAAAAAGH!!!!

But suddenly a Titan appeared on the floor and bitten his left leg. He crash landed, with wound on his head and unconscious.

Armin: Eren!

Cadet (B): gah!

Mina: Eren!

But suddenly a Titan on the right swatted the Cadet, making Mina shocked. Another Titan saw a wire and holds it down, making Mina fall and crash its back to the wall of the house. She's dropped and unconscious. The Titan is now looking at Mina as a food.

The titan is beginning to eat the Cadet, it screamed for life until a snap was heard. Armin saw it up close and his legs are shaking. He kneeled to the ground while seeing Eren, bloodied and bruised.

Armin: 'Why...? Why am I watching as my friends get eaten?' 

Franz is grabbed, being bitten by a Titan and then a slice was heard as it went black.

Mina saw the Titan who's gonna devour her, and then another slice was heard and went black.

Armin was still scared and then two stomp was heard, it came from the bearded Titan beside him and the other was unknown. The beard one has has targeted Armin. It grabs him and was preparing to snack him as its opened the mouth.

Armin: 'Why... can't I... move?'

Armin then saw the hole of his death. He then begins to screams as it begins to slowly swallow him. Eren opens his eyes a little bit.

Eren: A-Armin...

He then remembers something about Armin.

(Year 845) Armin: Eren! Eren! Eren!

Flashback

Eren was looking at the sky in the afternoon. He was being called by Armin.

(Year 845) Eren: What is it, Armin?

Armin: My grandpa secretly had this! It's a book about the outside world!

Eren: A book about the outside world?! Isn't it illegal to have those? You're gonna get arrested!

Armin: This is no time to be saying that! According to this book, most of the world is covered in water called a "sea"! And this "sea" is entirely saltwater!

Eren: Salt?! Y-you're lying! Salt is a treasure trove! I'm sure merchants would've snatched it all up!

Armin: You can't, though! The sea is that big! 

Eren: Yeah, right--

But Eren saw his eyes, the eyes of wonder, discovery and excitement. He's surprised by this, and even more so that Armin opens the book.

Armin: There's a lot more than loads of salt, too! Fiery water! Lands of Ice! Sandy snowfields! Metal buildings and lands! The outside world must be many times larger than the inside of these walls! Yeah, also, there is a writing here said that "one day the creators called pilots will return to this world in a sacred vessel called Gundam, and will begin the dialogues to come and change the vision of everyone!" That means whatever these Gundam are they must be part of the outside world too.

Eren: *smiles* The outside world...

Armin: And, this is still a secret, but my mom and dad are planning to venture into the outside world!

Eren: The outside world, huh...

Armin: Hey, Eren. I hope we can explore the outside world too someday!

Flashback ended

Eren gets up and narrowed his eyes. Armin is screaming but he got caught by Eren, who's holding on to his hand. Armin, in tears, he saw Eren holding on to him, not letting go.

Eren: GRGH! GRAAAAGH!! *pulls Armin and throws him out of the mouth leaving Eren inside*

Armin drops and saw Eren inside the mouth.

Armin: Eren!

Eren: *holding the mouth open for a little longer* I refuse to die here... Listen, Armin... You told me about it... *reached out his left hand* So I have... to see it... the outside world!

Armin, in tears crawled fast to reach out to Eren's hand using his right hand.

Armin: Eren! Hurry!

But it was too late, as the time slowed. Eren thought one last thing...

Eren: 'I'm sorry, 00...'

The titan shuts its mouth and bites off Eren's left arm. 

Armin screamed at the loss of his friend. Meanwhile, Mikasa was following Ian, until she felt her heart break and something more picking and putting back the pieces up. She looked back. As the sky grows dark and heavy clouds are starting to form.

Mikasa: 'Eren... and this presence...'

A few moments ago before Eren and Armin is at death's doors

Connie, Krista, and Ymir just finished killing the Large Titan.

Ymir: That was nothing. Let's retreat already.

Until the scream from Armin was heard.

Connie: What the...? That came from the direction Eren and the others went! We gotta hurry!

Krista: Connie, wait-

A big crash was heard, and the ground shaken. The citizen felt it, including the rear guard who's stationed behind.

Kitz: What in the... 'Don't tell me...'

Connie was shocked about it.

Connie: What the muffin is that?!

Ymir: Don't tell me, the Armored Titan-

Then they saw a strange noise passes over them, Krista and the rest looked at it and saw that it's here at last.

Krista: That's...!

Meanwhile

Hannah is screaming at Franz to save him.

Hannah: Franz... NO!

Franz: 'I'm sorry... Hannah' *closes his eyes*

Until a shadow loomed over them and a sound of slash, a liquid is bursting out, and the tItan's scream of pain and agony. The sunlight's back as the shadow is gone. He felt like he was falling until someone caught him. 

Hannah: Franz! *hugs him while crying*

She looked over the Titan that almost put Franz to his death. She saw it's face is in half and the nape was sliced confirmed that it's dead. When she looked to the left, she saw it. 

Hannah: 'That's...'

The miracle in figure who saved her mate she even broke to tears even more.

Hannah: Thank you... You're here.

Meanwhile for Mina, she's scared and she was about to get eaten when she heard a strange noise and then a slash. She saw the titans arms was sliced off completely, the Titan's screamed in pain and then proceeded to get stabbed on the head by a silver and Cyan blade and slices it's nape also.

The Titan dropped dead and she saw what may she think, the miraculous return.

Mina: 'That's...'

She saw a look of it. It has green eyes, and had the color of the cadets uniform, brown, has the color of a silver, red and a gold touch. It has the equipment of the whole military, the ODM gear. She also saw the cone-shape that emits bright stars, the GN Drives.

To her and everyone, it only means one thing. The Mechanical Titan aka the 00 Core Gundam is back. With a new armor set.

Y/n, now piloting it with a determination on it's face, he wears his mask with a few clicks from the metal mask itself it's now attached. He looked at the clouds and mutters.

Y/n: Dark clouds... something must've happened.
