Annie and the wet hooded Y/n are inside her room. Y/n is wet because of the rain while traveling from HQ to Annie's location. Thunder's clapped to the silence in the room. Annie is now staring down at his Gun with a silencer attached.

Y/n: How... How can you acquire this power?

His grip on the gun is shaking and his finger is trembling around the trigger.

Annie: You knew who I was, right? Right in that expedition... When I brought Titans on the right flank to destroy them... And the way I fight... You know me very well ever since training sessions in the old days... 

Annie: I'm the Female Titan.

*opening 2 plays*

Y/n's eyes are shocked when he heard what he assumed would not be. She's the Female Titan, when he heard it, his eyes slowly glowing green lightning streaks. Annie was about to say something from her lips and within a blink of an eye, Y/n struck the base of his gun to her cheek.

She felt the hit as her head was snapped to one side as she splattered blood out of her mouth and stained the wooden floor. She was sprawled onto the ground from the impact. She coughed blood from that hit and she felt some of her teeth dislodged and her shaky vision began to refocus again.

She wiped the blood and saliva off her lips with her arm. But she was then pushed to her bed and she was put down there by him with Y/n being on top and strangling her.

Y/n: You. You're her... this whole time!

He snarled while he was strangling her and Annie is saying something out of plead behind her choking breath.

Annie: It... It was...!

Annie is trying to get his hands off to loosen his hold on her. But it was not working as his eyes glowing green slowly turning to red. She can feel the grip is getting tighter and she becomes desperate.

Annie: Can... explain! Just... let me... talk... PLEASE!!!!

She was pleading as her tears began to instinctively fall from her eyes. She never thought that his anger would turn out to be like this.

His grip is stronger than hers as she started to feel her windpipe, her vocal cords and her neck about to be crushed completely. Her vision is slowly fading away as her face becomes purple and about to run out of breath and be KIA.

However she suddenly felt his grip loosened and she was thrown to the floor. She started to cough a little bit and rubbed her neck. She let her regenerative abilities do the work and it was healed in just 10 seconds.

When she recovered, she heard the sound of a sliding barrel of a gun prompting her to look up and saw Y/n pointing his gun to her as he was sitting on a chair that he dragged up from this room. 

Annie can't expect what his reaction is as he faces her. She initially thought he would hate her or at least triggered. But she saw him that he's so done at everything that has happened.

Y/n: Well?! Talk.

Annie: *weakly laughed* Well, where do I start?

Y/n's patience is slowly wearing thin as he narrowed his eyes towards her. She flinched a bit but she got over it as he asked his first question.

Y/n: Your Titan-type. How did you obtain it?

Annie can see it in his eyes that she needs to reveal it. But she was acutely aware of what the consequences would be if she ever told him the answers. However, she had known him since the 104th and he's the one who doesn't want to waste time on those who wouldn't be honest with him.

Annie: I know I'm in no place to make demands... but could you keep this a secret for now. Between us... please?

Annie asked him that favor but his trust to her made his answer forced.

Y/n: I'll consider it... For now.

Annie: Thank you. That's all I could ask at this point. But even so.. My situation isn't an easy one to explain. So why don't I just give you a story?

Y/n: I want info, not fairy tales.

Annie flinched at his voice full of authority and hate.

Annie: This is a lot more based on real happenings than just any fairy tales or history lectures in my hometown.

He raised his eyebrow knowing more about her hometown. He lets her continue with his silence.

After a few minutes he couldn't believe what he heard from her. The origins of all Titans, two nations, Ymir's usage for the King named Fritz on destroying everything and her death.

The Ten Titans which was a lie and originally was named Nine Titans with his Gundam counted as the Tenth of the Titan classes because of the Eldia's corrupted abuse of power and domination.

She couldn't say about the Nine Titans as he would need that to figure it out on his own. Meanwhile he had figured that this place was the Eldia itself or the last one at least so he got that one right. But his suspicions now questioned her.

Y/n: What about your land? You said you can't believe your land still stands despite its calamities. So what happened from those calamities?

Annie breathed as she prepared herself to tell him.

Annie: I read about those records that were survived from the other records being burnt for not reaching it to the public. But says that multiple monsters with each had different traits like a bird, an insect, and a tentacle creature emerged from the eastern part of the world, and upon awakening, it slaughtered those around it without mercy, bringing about an army of death alongside it. They were also responsible for the other nation's downfall.

Y/n: 'I knew it... There's no mistaking or assuming about it anymore...'

Y/n: 'Mobile Armors...'

Annie: Is there something on my face besides my identity?

Y/n: Nothing... I'm leaving.

His friendship for her was made on his own. He's not pointing his hatred to himself but rather her. He hates her because of the actions she had done but the main thing he hates is why she lied to everyone and didn't bother telling the truth.

Now he was bothered about the Mobile Armors themselves so he faced her with a last look.

Y/n: But before I leave, you need to choose. Because I know you're just being held back by the ones who are tightening a leash on you. Us or your accomplices.

Annie looked down conflicted and looked at her hands with one of the fingers having a ring on it. Y/n rides back into HQ with his bike and sleeps away. His worries will be handled tomorrow.

Next Day

When he gets up, he is greeted by the Levi Squad except Levi and instead it was Erwin who's with them in front of the entrance way.

Erwin: You got it?

Y/n: Yeah...

His answer was gloomy and it was noticed by them and the squad can't help but hear the sadness in his voice. So they just didn't say a word as they just heard him.

Y/n: Let's just get to the briefing, yeah?

8 PM 

Meanwhile in the HQ Mess Hall, the Scouts are waiting for someone. Levi and Eren are the ones only in the mess hall.

Levi: They're so slow. Erwin and the others, making me wait. I'll be escorted out by MPB at this rate.

Levi takes a sip of his tea as Eren is just sitting from the bench watching him get his mood on the comeuppance they are in.

Levi: I'll guess that he's probably dealing with constipation right now.

Eren: Captain, you're rather talkative today.

Levi: I've always been quite talkative.

Levi empties his tea and just worries about his sprained ankle on his left leg.

Eren: I'm sorry. It's only because I made the wrong choice back then, and came to the situation we're in.

Eren just clenches his hand thinking he made a wrong choice that leads to the deaths of his comrades.

Levi: *sigh* I've said this already. The result is a complete mystery.

Just then they hear the door open and Erwin enters.

Erwin: Apologies for the delay.

Eren: It's fine, Sir.

He was then surprised of who was with him for this briefing. Mikasa, Armin, Jean, Y/n, and of course the whole Levi squad.

Eren: You guys...and the Levi squad? How are you-?

Y/n: I managed to save them in time while being beaten up by that woman while inside the mobile suit.

Petra: *clears throat*

Y/n just looked at her in an apologetic way and returned to what they're talking about.

Y/n: But anyways, they're here because I got permission from Levi to take them in this op we're going to uphold, 2 days later.

Eren is confused and Erwin now explains it to him.

Erwin: We've found a confirmed culprit who's to be the identity of the Female Titan.

Eren was surprised even more by this while his friends are looking down from this and Erwin is stoic and firm about this.

Erwin: We'll definitely apprehend them this time.

Y/n leads his friends to sit on the chairs while the others get their chairs or they can just stand behind the recruits for this briefing. Y/n then gets his GP device and illuminates a hologram map of one of the districts in Wall Sina, Stohess District.

Erwin: Just like Y/n said this plan will be held 2 days later, during our passage to the capital where we are to answer the summons at Stohess District.

Y/n showed holographic figures of the cargo VIP representing Levi and Erwin for answering the MP corrupt callings to them.

Erwin: We only get one shot at this operation. If we fail, the capital will take custody of both Eren and Y/n, then they'll haul his Gundam. And also, it'll likely become difficult to investigate those who plot to destroy the walls.

Y/n: In other words, the doomsday is getting nearer if we fail this time. It's all or nothing for this plan's offer. So the plan is as follows: *illustrates the plan scenario by letting the GP device simulate it*

Y/n: As the VIP's pass through Stohess District, Eren will act as bait and lure her to this underground passage. Upon bringing her to the lowest level, judging by the size and power she wields, their movements should be fairly restricted, even if they transform.

Erwin: However, if there's the chance she transform before that, you and Y/n are the only ones we can count on, Eren.

Eren: Y-Yes, sir. So the main target is, in Stohess District, correct?

Y/n: Yes. The target is from the MPB.

Eren: MPB... The Military Police Brigade?

Erwin: Armin was the one who inferred that. While Y/n confirms and ties it all.

Eren just looked at Armin and Y/n. Everyone else saw Y/n's face, having a doubt and remorse about this suspect.

Y/n: According to Armin, the Female Titan may be responsible for killing the two Titans we captured. She's also the one who's responsible for awakening the Mobile Armor when we fight it. But the deep revelation is this...she's a member of 104th trainees like us.

Eren was flabbergasted and in horror of this information.

Eren: W-Wait a second. 104th... *realizes* Wait, don't tell me...

Erwin: The name of the female responsible to be the Female Titan is none other than...

The GP device shows the ID picture of the woman herself.

Y/n: Annie Leonhart.

Meanwhile in the Stohess District, the VIP cargo is now passed inside the gate. Y/n watches from the walls with his camo version of his cloak and whispers in the ear piece he gave to his friends.

Y/n: Commence operation.

Armin: Copy.

Mikasa: Understood. Eren?

Eren is wearing his hood and he's still conflicted about the fact Annie is the Female Titan herself. But nonetheless he nodded.

Meanwhile Annie is about to follow them when she hears someone calling out to her in an alleyway.

Armin: Annie.

She goes to that alleyway and then turns to another dark narrow alleyway to find Armin standing there wearing a raincoat with his hood on.

Armin: Hey. You're really part of the MPB now, huh?

Annie: Armin... What's with the outfit?

Armin: I'm a baggage carrier. I'm using this coat to hide my ODM gear. *lifts the coat to affirm it* See?

Annie: What for?

Armin: Annie, will you give us a hand in helping Eren escape?

Annie saw a doubt in his alibi.

Annie: Where to? After rebelling against the monarchy, where within the walls will you run to?

Armin: We're only going to hide temporarily. We don't plan to oppose them head-on. It'll be reported as an act of rebellion by part of the Scout, but that'll buy us some time during which we'll prepare what's needed to overturn the commission of inquiry's decision. Without fail.

Annie: What do you need to overturn it? Does something that convenient exist? Any leads?

Armin: ... Sorry, I can't say.

Annie still looks at him in doubt and sighs.

Annie: I hate to tell you this, but it's out of the question. I won't say anything though, so do what you can.

Y/n is watching from his camo rain coat and sees this. He clicked his tongue about what's going on.

Y/n: Damn...

But then he heard Armin try it again.

Armin: Annie! Please! If we don't escape Eren he will be assassinated!

Y/n and Annie perked up to his plea. He looked through his monocular as he could see in her eyes. She has a shocked expression on her face, judging from it looks she thinks the Military might go onto him immediately and kill him along with his powers.

But in reality, they won't. Armin continues his distraction to her, and Y/n is really worried about her choice and the Scout's included.

Armin: Ignorant people, for their own self-preservation, are unwittingly attempting to set humanity on a path to massacre! I know this isn't convincing. But even so, all we can do is take a huge gamble, now!

He is shaking as the anxiety is high and he knows she's being watched by Y/n who they find out about their last encounter.

Armin: Of course, I'll do my best to avoid causing you any trouble. But in order to bypass the inspections within Wall Sina, the help of one of the MPB is crucial. We have no other options!

Y/n is still observing between their conversations. Annie turned to him and asked.

Annie: Why me? Do I really seem like such a good person to you?

Armin: A good person? I...

He remembers the past 104th training, her stoic & cold expression, her combat against Y/n. Also, some missions they have done in their 104th days.

Armin: I don't particularly like that term. I mean, that just... seems like something you'd call someone who's of use to you. I also don't think there's anyone who's of use to everyone. That said, if you don't agree to cooperate... you'd be a bad person in my eyes, right?

Y/n can see from afar his eyes, even without those smiles of his, those eyes of a mad person like Hallelujah is rising. Except it's aura and pressure is too weak yet visible.

She then notices her movements to her buckshot rifle, she inspects it and puts it down, standing by the wall.

Annie: Fine, then.

She inserts the ring on her finger and says it.

Annie: I'm in.

Y/n: 'The ring... That's odd...'

Y/n then moves to the location of where they would go. He writes to his journal secretly about his knowledge of Mobile Armors and such corrupt government.

He then saw the 4 moving on towards the tunnel entrance. They entered the tunnel, all except her.

Y/n: 'Armin's lie... It didn't work...'

Some Scouts are about to talk to him on where he is going but he orders them to just prepare for the flash. They don't know what he meant but they put their trust to him.

Eren: Annie? What're you doing? Don't tell us that you're scared of dark, narrow spaces, are you?

Annie: That's right. I'm scared. I'm sure a brave and reckless idiot like you wouldn't understand the feelings of a frail girl like me.

Armin just looked at her and Eren just ignored her.

Eren: A girl who can flip a massive guy around in mid-air isn't frail. Quit joking and let's get moving.

Annie: No, I won't go. I'm scared of going that way. If we're not moving above ground, you're on your own.

The three didn't move as the wind gently flew past Annie as her expression darkens. Eren is still struggling about her identity so he's slowly losing it to her actions.

Eren: What the hell are you saying?! Get over here already! Enough screwing around!

Mikasa: Eren, keep it down.

Annie: It's fine, isn't it, Mikasa? For a while now, there hasn't been anyone around for some time.

The Scouts who are wearing their uniforms are positioned from the roofs while the disguised soldiers are hiding in the alleyways or behind the shadows of the buildings.

Annie: Honestly, I'm hurt. Just when did you come to look at me with those eyes, Armin?

Armin's right arm is shaking while holding the signal gun and Y/n is hiding in a dark alleyway standing there watching.

Armin: Annie, tell us something. Why did you have Marco's ODM gear?

Armin knew the details of the ODM gear she had on the table a month ago.

Armin: Down to the slightest scratches and dents. Because we maintained our equipment together. I recognized them all.

Annie: I see. It was... something I found.

Annie tries to lie again but it didn't work for Y/n. Y/n then grips his right hand to a flash grenade without the pin as the lever is still down.

Y/n: 'You lie... Included his death... You're responsible for it...'

Armin further questioned her for a sure confirmation as the intel they got from Y/n was not sure and couldn't accept it.

Armin: So, did you kill the two Titans we'd captured?

Annie: No idea. But if you suspected something a month ago, why didn't you do anything?

Armin: Because, I still can't believe it. I wanted to believe I was mistaken. That's why. But... you too...

Armin remembers the time on the 57th expedition where she was close to death's door as her Titan form got close to her bloodied body.

Armin: Back then... Because you didn't kill me... Because you didn't fight back against his interrogation of you...

Then he appears behind her as he looks at her with authority and his gun with an empty mag, pointing at her head.

Y/n: It comes down to this, don't you see?

Annie has a cold face as he faces them both in the place where all hell will break loose.

Annie: Hm. Yeah, I agree. I never imagined you'd end up cornering me to this extent. Back then...

Y/n looked at her, unknown to him his eyes were glowing blue and green almost the same colors as the cockpit and GN particles of his Gundam.

Annie: Why... I wonder...

Her voice seems to be filled with guilt, haunted and sadness. He understands now, something about Marco's death haunts her until the end of her life. Eren just shouted at her.

Eren: Hey, Annie! There's still a chance you're an idiot who has terrible timing with stupid jokes that you carelessly throw into the conversation. Just get down here already. You can prove something by simply stepping down here! So come here and prove it!

Annie: I can't go there. I've failed... to become a warrior.

Eren: I'm telling you, this isn't funny at all!

Armin: Let's talk this through, Annie! We can still discuss-

Mikasa: I've had enough.

Mikasa is pissed and just unsheathes her blades.

Mikasa: I can't listen to this anymore. It's a waste of my time. I'll slice you to shreds again, Female Titan!

Annie then started to laugh like a maniac, as Y/n decided it's about time to reveal the truth if she choses this path.

Annie: Hehehe... *breathes* AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! *breathes*

Annie started to talk to Armin as she's not to herself anymore.

Annie: Armin, it's great that I was a good person to you, huh? Your gamble paid off this time. But now, I'll see if my bet pays off!

Y/n If you do it now, that winged mobile armor creature will come after us!

Annie: That's the point! I don't care if you all die from it! If I do it now, I'll find it and destroy it by myself for what it has done to our world!!!

Y/n: 'So that's your decision...' Flash!!!

Annie tried to bite her hands but he threw the flash grenade he's been holding on this whole time to her face. It blinded her completely, making her scream in agony at how close that flash grenade was to her face. 

Armin then launches the ammo in the signal gun as the people then proceed to restrain her from transforming. Annie looked around and saw the incoming disguised Scouts. They restrained her as she saw Y/n with a sympathetic and sad look.

Y/n: 'I'm sorry, Annie... But that monster is mine to face it, alone.'

Eren tried to approach her but Mikasa, being over protective as ever, puts her arm in front of him to block his approach to her.

Mikasa: Eren!

Annie then being resolved had a backup plan. She swiped the ring to make a sound that the 4 would hear. It revealed a hidden hook underneath the ring. Y/n and Mikasa were shocked as to what she's going to do now. Mikasa pulls them away from what's going to happen.

Armin: Mikasa!

Mikasa: We were too late! Y/n knows it too!

Y/n: S***, get back!!

Y/n pressed his beacon watch and he saw her finger swiped and cut her finger. Making the lightning of the Titan transformation strike to her location, knocking back the Scouts close to her and Y/n transformed immediately to the battle suit-size of his 00 CORE with the Seven Sword TN armor.

Everyone else from afar and the MPB saw this and was horrified. The Raid on Stohess and the Clash of Monsters starts here.

Eren could only helplessly watch her transforming with her eyes of a dead person as she transforms.

Eren: Annie...!
