The cannons fired as Eren uses his powers and Y/n's Gundam to protect them.

The year 850. Trost District. The sight of Eren Jaeger and the OO introducing their powers, was more than enough to strike terror into the hearts of his fellow soldiers.

Eren: I-I'm human!

Armin: They're not an enemy of humanity!

While all soldiers felt the terror and wrath of the Gundam Meister.

Hallelujah: HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! This is fun, isn't it, Vidar?! How is it feel to be threatened by one of your own, who has known wars, huh!? Tell me now, Kitz!!!!! CAPTAIN KITZ WOERMAN!!!!!!!

Kitz: Open-

Pyxis grabs the arm and hold it.

As Eren and his friends desperately pleaded while Hallelujah laughs madly for intimidation, only one spoke up for them:

Dot Pyxis, the top officer in charge of the entire southern territory.

Pyxis: Something tells me we ought to hear these people out, you see...

*opening starts*

Eren answers Pyxis' question with more dedication

Pyxis: *smiles* Well said! You're a real man!

Pyxis then waves out his hands and calls out his staff officers on the ground to put up the plan, together.

Armin: Huh?! You can't be serious! It was just some half-baked plan I came up with on the spot! We're actually going though with it?!

Y/n: *taps his shoulder* That's why we're gonna need more to make it full-baked.

Eren: He's right. There's no point if its just us. Commander Pyxis must be envisioning something that we can't see but Vidar can.

Armin: Something we can't see?

Y/n: Also, we think there's a bigger issue needs to be blurted out before the plan will be lifted. Knowing the Commander, he's aware of it already. 'Just like myself'

Armin: Which would be...?

Eren: That the Titans aren't the only enemy we're facing.

Armin gasps about it, what could it mean for him? Does Vidar or Y/n knows? If  Y/n knows, where is he now?

Pyxis: Time is of the essence. We're counting on you, young soldiers.

The group nods all the while, the soldiers asked Y/n.

Garrison: Wait. How is he gonna, you know?

Y/n: Oh uhm... Maybe later.

A few minutes later, mutterings and rumors began to spread about reclaiming Trost.

Soldier: An operation to retake Trost?!

Soldier: They can't be serious! We have no way to plug that hole in the gate!

Soldier: What is the top brass thinking?! Setting foot in Trost means a pointless death!

Soldier: Since we can't block the hole, defending Wall Rose's gate is our only real option now!

Soldier: Damn it! They want glory that badly?!

Daz: Back into that hellhole again...? 

That's when Daz began to go out of control.

Daz:*holds his head and panics* No! I don't wanna die! Let me see my family!

Marco: Hey, Daz! Not so loud!

Soldier: You, there! I heard that! Do you intend to abandon your duty?!

Daz: Yes, I do! There's nothing to be had or gained by this pointless act of mass suicide!

Soldier: *holds his blades* What do you take humanity for?! Rules for?! It's within my authority to execute you on the spot!

Daz: *holds his blades* Fine by me... It's a hundred times better than getting eaten by the Titans!

Marco begins to restrain the crazy Daz

Marco: Stop it now, Daz!

Daz: Stop! Let go! I refuse to go back to that hellhole!

Everyone heard it and it rose their worries.

Jean: Whoa, did you hear that?

Soldier: Can't say I blame him...

Cadet (G): Hey, do you think, any of us will be traitors too?

Cadet (G): I wish I could choose how I die...

Soldier: You two!

Cadet (G): I-I was only joking!

Soldier: Do it!

Cadet (G): Huh?

Garrison: Make all sorts of noise! With as many of you as possible! Lots of us in the Garrsion Regiment are unhappy about this too! I'll use the commotion to get out of here!

Jean: To get out of here and go where?

Soldier: To see my daughter! They're gonna break this wall anyway!

Up top, Pyxis, Eren and Vidar are walking.

Pyxis: It's said that before the Titans ruled the land, humankind consisted of people of different races and creeds, and that they perpetually fought with and killed each other. Supposedly someone back then said that if a powerful enemy that wasn't human ever appeared, humanity would likely to cease its fighting and come together as one. What is your opinions, young man?

Eren: I'd never heard that story before. I'd say... it's a pretty laid-back attitude. It's enough to make me yawn.

Pyxis just laughed at Eren's opinion

Pyxis: You have a twisted mind, just like me. 

Eren: Even now, when a powerful enemy has driven us into a corner, I would hardly say that we've "come together."

And you, Mr. Vidar?

Y/n: For me... If that time comes, they might finally see why understanding is sometimes the key towards achieving peace, not force. Also, the machines like mine might be capable of using armed interventions, destruction in the battles like these; but it might create something else... However, the rest... is up to us, humanity.

Pyxis: You're quite a strange man, indeed. You're correct, Cadet Jaeger; If we don't ge tour act together soon, even fighting will be tough.

When they get past the cannons. Hannes is there, providing maintenance check for the turret cannons. Then he saw Eren, with Pyxis and someone with a strange clothing and gear.

Hannes: *gasp* Eren?!  He's all right

Eren just looks at Hannes, and Hannes just smiles knowing he's still alive and kicking. Eren with a deadpan face, signals Hannes to focus on his work for now.

Hannes: 'Focus on my work? *sigh* Who does that punk think he is, bossing a superior officer around? Judging from his attitude, Mikasa and Armin must be okay, too.'

But when he looked at Vidar, he can't help but doubt.

Hannes: 'That man... I can't help but feel something strange but also familiar to it. Who is that guy with Eren?. Still though... Why are they at the commander's side?'

Pyxis began to drink his own alcohol again and asks Eren.

Pyxis: You want?

Eren: Thank you, sir.

He just grabbed it, but when the liquid touched his mouth, he spitted out. With Pyxis have a deadpanned face.

Y/n: I told you, Eren... 

But then he hears commotion on the grounds. Someone saying to execute him or whatever suicide attempt its' making at itself.

Y/n: 'The sanity of every soldiers right now... They're just like her... I hope my comrades down there aren't losing their own sanity like that guy.'

When they get to their position at the top of the gate with flags waving around, Pyxis steps forward, and clears his throat.

Pyxis: ATTENTION!!!!!

This stops their commotion as they looked up high to see the three, looking straight.

Pyxis: I will now explain to you the details of the Trost Recovery Operation! The objective of this operation is to seal the hole in the demolished gate!

All soldiers began to have their mouths agape at the operation and confirming their rumors that its true. They're about to take back the district form the Titan's eyes of prey.

Soldier: What?

Marco: Seal it? How?

Pyxis answers their questions as he continues his speech.

Pyxis: As for how  we'll accomplish this,  let me start by introducing these fellows! *points his open hands to Eren* This is Eren Jaeger, a member of the Cadets!

Eren: *salutes* 

They began to shock themselves as they see Eren with Y/n and Pyxis.

Jean: *shocked*

Connie: E-Eren?!

Mina: W-What?!

Pyxis: He is the successful result of our top-secret Titan transformations experiments! He is able to fabricate a Titan's body and control it at will!

Connie starts to be surprised at this revelation.

Connie: Uhh, the commander isn't making much sense. It's not just because of my stupidity, right?!

Ymir: Just be quiet. You idiot.

Pyxis: And the last one, *points his other open hand to Y/n* is the soldier named, Vidar.

Y/n stepped forward and did the soldiers salute.

Garrison (G): No way..!

Reiner: 'So this is the guy named Vidar... *remembers something from the past* Why bring it up now...'

Bertholdt: It knows, the salute?

As Vidar's mask glow green a little bit.

Pyxis: He is proven to be a soldier who guards the humanity for a long while. Using the Mechanical Titan named OO and it's armors to seek and eradicate conflict and contradictions such as this battle. Additionally, he has seen wars like these that destroyed his own hometown outside the walls. He can only be viewed as an ally to humanity's frontlines; if threatened by our own, he will deem you as a scared and coward soldier who only seeks to abandon their duty or even selfish. 

Franz: A young boy...

Hanna: Using the OO...

Rico: To eradicate conflict...

Soldier: Did he just say... armors?!

Krista: 'If the one who's controlling the OO is Vidar... Then who's Vidar...?'

Pyxis: In Titan form, Eren Jaeger will lift that giant boulder near the front gate, carry it to the wrecked gate and seal the hole! As for you, when Vidar has control over the OO, you must help him, clear a path for Eren Jaeger to the boulder and transform. After that, you're to defend Eren Jaeger with him form the other Titans while he carries the rock!

Behind them was Mikasa who's watching Eren; Armin, and the two assistants of Pyxis was planning.

Right-hand man: There's no need to fight the Titans?!

Armin: I-I'm sorry! I didn't mean to interrupt! I know I'm just a cadet...

Right-hand man: That's okay. Continue.

Armin: Right. Normally, Titans respond to large groups of people by pursuing them. So if we were to use a large group to lure them to the edge of the wall, I believe we could draw the Titans away from Eren without having to fight and let Vidar provide cover fire. 

Armin: Additionally, once these Titans have been lured away, we could take them out with cannons without incurring any casualties. However, we can't afford to leave Eren defenseless, so a small squad of elites would need to go and protect him. Same goes for Vidar. Plus, there's no avoiding any Titans that come through the hole. The elites will need to be able to handle them including Vidar, depending on what armor he has.

Right-hand man: All right, then. We'll rethink the plan around that.

Pyxis continues his speech while Armin explains everything

Armin: However, this is all based on the assumption that Eren can pick up the rock and seal the hole and Vidar protecting us. I must admit I have my doubts about carrying out this plan with so little assurance to go on...

Right-hand man: You're right. I have misgivings about sending people to their deaths based entirely on one big "if", but I understand Commander Pyxis assessment too.

Left-hand lady: Yes. One of the issues is time. As we speak, Titans continue to pour into the town. The more filled the town gets, the worse of our chances of successfully retaking it becomes.

Right-hand man: And the chances of them breaking through the Wall Rose go up, too.

Left-Hand lady: And there's one other issue... 

They looked at her like they're not expecting another issue.

Left-hand lady: People can only be driven by fear for so long. Just like the crazy guy named Hallelujah said by Vidar. They have seen wars that most people are driven by fear, and then into madness.

On the ground, cadets can't believe what their plan is.

Soldier: He's going to pick up that humongous rock?!

Soldier: Is that really possible...?

Soldier: That masked man, can he really control that Titan? Has humankind finally surmounted the Titans?!

Daz: You're lying! I refuse to give my life for this ridiculous nonsense! What do you take us for?! We're not disposable blades, you know!

Sasha is shaking

Soldier: He says they're human weapons!

Soldier: He's obviously just lying!

Soldier: Treating us like fools...!

Garrison: I ain't gonna die here today! I'm out of here!

Some are beginning to run away from the job

Ian: This isn't good.

Rico: Indeed. We'll lose all order if we don't do something.

But then Kitz just shouts

Kitz: Prepare yourselves, lousy traitors! *unsheathes his blade* I'll cut you down where you stand!

Up top, Pyxis, Eren and Y/n had enough of their cowardice. Pyxis declares something that will stop them for leaving. 

Pyxis: By my order... all who leave now are freed of their crime!

This shocks Kitz and the others who are leaving. Eren looked at Pyxis while Y/n has his eyes looked down on to the soldiers behind the blurred helmet.

Pyxis: Those who've succumbed to the Titans' terror once before can never face them again! Anyone who has already experienced their horror may leave! And, those who want their family and loved ones to experience that same horror may leave as well!

This made them stop and daydream about that decision of leaving; their loved ones be devoured by the pure Titans because of their cowardice and dumb decision.

Soldier: Anything but that... My daughter is... *returned to their positions* all the hope I have left!

Sasha clenches her fists because she remembers the time when Y/n helped her how to hunt when food storage is running out and Cadets are assigned to hunt meat and food; Including their hand-to-hand and range combat training during Cadet training days.

Sasha: *clenches her fists* 'I won't! I will never be the same coward I was when I was a kid. He taught me how to fight no matter what happens. If I have to die, then I'll die with honor for him.'

All of Y/n's and Eren's friends are reminiscing their past times with the two. As a reminder of how did they come this far. 

Pyxis: Let Vidar discuss 4 years ago! Namely, the operation to retake Wall Maria! 

Y/n then his voice booms out when he maximizes the volume sound for his mask with voice modulator.

Y/n: I'm sure none of this needs saying! Calling it a "recovery operation" gave it a nice cover, but it was essentially a way to dispose of the unemployed masses that this government couldn't support! The reason no one has spoken out about it is because sending them outside is what allowed us to survive inside these caged walls! All of humanity- officers and myself included- is guilty on this issue!

Y/n: Conflict never arose simply because Wall Maria's citizens were in the minority! And what about now?! If Wall Rose falls, humanity will lose more than 20% of its population today! The small Wall Sina wouldn't be able to support even half of the people who's still alive! If we humans has reached the brink of extinction it won't be because we were eaten by the Titans! It'll be because we killed ourselves off in unrelatable things not related to finishing the job! 

Y/n: We cannot afford to die any further inside. No more! I ask you all! Die here, in the battlefield, serving as a soldier who helped pushed mankind from the extinction until you very last  breath!

They all saluted as they heed his words like a true soldier. Others who have seen the fragment memories of the pilots like Setsuna, or Riku of the Gundam Pilots, they see a blur image of Y/n has azure wings on his back.

Eren: I don't know if I can lift that rock with my Titan ability or not. But I understand what my role is. Even if it's false, I have to succeed or rather we must succeed. We have to serve... as everyone's hope!

Y/n: Payback time...

Everyone is getting ready inside, they gathered their equipment and gets inside Trost. Cannons are in position and ammo are being delivered on top. Y/n gets inside his Mobile Suit and preps the armor.

Meanwhile Pyxis called out Rico, Ian and Mitabi for in charge of this operation.

Pyxis: Looks like you're all here. You have but 1 mission: to protect Eren Jaeger and eliminate any risks that arise during the operation. It will probably be the most dangerous and difficult mission of the entire operation. I've gathered someone else for Vidar's squad. It's no exaggeration to say that how you fare out there will decide the fate of all mankind. 

Rico: Sir. May I ask a question?

Pyxis: What is it?

Rico: Are you really  sure about this "human weapon" and Mechanical Titan issue of yours?

Ian is bothered by this.

Ian: Quit it, Rico.

Rico: You have your doubts too, don't you?

Mitabi: Sir. This plan is based entirely on the incredible uncertainty that is Eren Jaeger and Vidar. If they doesn't do as planned, many soldiers will die for nothing!

Pyxis: *plays his moustache* Hmm. Troubling, indeed. Are you that fond of losing to the Titans? 

They just perked up at his question.

Pyxis: Personally, I hate it. I hate losing more than anything else. But astonishingly enough, I've been on the losing side for all my life.

Rico is confused by his sentence and she; including Mitabi looked at Mitabi who don't know either what does it mean.

Pyxis: I want to win against the Titans. I want to prevail over those oafs, no matter what it takes. 

Rico: N-No, we feel the same way, Sir!

Pyxis: Then the only option is to take a gamble on those two. Because what you call "an incredible uncertainty" is our one and only opportunity of achieving victory over the Titans.

But then a Garrison informed Pyxis. 

Gustav: Sir. It's time for the decoy operation to begin.

Pyxis: *nods* Mm. *faces the trio* Ian Dietrich. Rico Brzenska. Mitabi Jarnach. You are the best and brightest of the Garrison Regiment. The fate of humanity is in you hands.

Rico, Ian, Mitabi: *saluted* Yes, sir!!

Pyxis: Ian. You'll lead the squad. I leave all on-site decision-making to you.

Ian: *reluctant* Huh? But, sir. That is-

Rico: I have no objections. 

Mitabi: Neither do I.

Ian: Please, sir. I'm not competent enough.

Pyxis: Now, now. You appreciate alcohol did you not.

Ian is being riddled by this question.

Ian: Sir...?

Pyxis: You know a good vintage. You know a shoddy one, as well. So, there it is.

Ian: Yes, sir! 

Meanwhile Eren is just watching the trio and Pyxis. Armin calls out to Eren to apologize.

Armin: Eren. I'm sorry. *Eren looked at him* I didn't mean to force all the responsibility onto your shoulders like this. Vidar. I apologize as well.

Y/n: *looking below while kneeling on one knee* No need. Besides I told you, you have riskiest but a good plan you're making here. 

Eren: I told you before, remember, Armin? You have the ability to make the right call. I have faith in that.

Mikasa: Eren. I really think I should-

Eren: *cuts her off* Don't even think of coming with me. They assigned you to the decoy squad.

Mikasa: But I can't leave you alone! It'll happen again if-

Eren: Enough, already! *tries to headbut her*

Mikasa dodges it, also surprised about his option.

Eren: I told you before!  I'm not your little brother or your kid!

Y/n: He's right. *stands up* You can't just protect him like always. He's growing up and maturing. He could decide now what's right and wrong.

Ian: Ackerman. Join the elite squad that'll protect Jaeger. *Mikasa perks her emotions up* We'll need your skills. Vidar, rally up with your squad. They should be in the rendezvous point.

Y/n: *salutes* Yes, sir.

Ian: Let's go. It's time to begin!

Eren: *taps Armin's and Vidar's shoulder* See you, Armin, Vidar. Don't die on us, you hear?

Armin: *nods* You too, Eren.

Y/n: Good luck.

They part ways to get into position. Y/n and Armin talked before the beginning of the operation.

Armin: Wait, how are you gonna change armor.

Y/n: Don't worry. I got this. 

He rolls up his sleeve to find the device for the Gundam. He taps it and the Gundam glowed its eyes and launch a rocket jump high enough to get over the walls and get inside.

Y/n: Core change! Cannon to Tekkaman!

The fighter ship has launched from the base in the mountains via catapult remotely and it rockets up and towards the OO Core Gundam's location.

Armin and everyone heard the same noise from 5 years ago now. They saw the fighter ship hovering, the Gundam jumps as well as Y/n to get inside.

Armin saw Y/n's whole body turn into pixels and the pixels are getting inside the Gundam.

The 00 Core Cannon began to remove its armor, and the armor for Tekkaman is beginning to form.

The Gundam changed colors from Black and Red, to White and Red because of the prize he got back from GBN.

The belt is removed and changed into a samurai look belt armor and the lower back has armor as well and the leg to foot armor has added a samurai style armor placed. 

The body has changed back to 00 torso but the GN Drive 2.0 is placed on the back as changed from GN Cannon  and Drive combined.

The ears have changed to a long ear blade. The primary weapon Pole-arm is slid to its hands and grabbed it. 

As the GN Sword Vs are now attached to its shoulders.

He lands to the ground with the spear serving as a walking stick. The squad who'll stick with him are follows:

Sasha
Mina
Connie
Jean

Jean: I can't believe we gotta stick up with this thing again.

Sasha: *chewing her food* Well... at least it more efficient...

Mina: Well, for once I agree...

Connie: At least, I won't be stupid when I'm with him.

Y/n: *deadpan* You're still stupid until now.

Connie: Eh?!

Mina: *giggle* I'm sure he didn't mean it.

Y/n: Yeah, just making sure your attitude is still intact.

A top of the wall Ian's squad are running to the nearest position for the boulder.

Ian: He called you a top-secret human weapon, but as long as you can seal that hole, I don't care! We'll protect you at all costs! We're counting on you!

Eren: Right!

They heard a loud slash and they glued their eyes to the OO while running. They see the OO throws the Pole arm to the Titans on the back, and signals Sasha to finish it off at the nape and accurately. Sasha did what he said and OO picked up the Pole arm and points their next target they moved out.

Mitabi: Still though, to think that we have become so desperate, so much so that we have to rely on a mechanical monstrosity and a "top-secret human experiment" like yourself... it truly shows how dire the situation has become today.

Ian: Hod your tongue, Mitabi. Us relying on the OO or Cadet Jaeger, even both is a trivial matter. The only matter is if they can seal the breach. Remember that.

Mitabi: Whatever you say, Ian. Anyways still feel surreal and flabbergasted. For not only the Military Police to have a top secret human experiment, but for the OO to reveal and return itself at such a convenient time... What are the odds of that happening? 

Rico: Best to not ask about the odds, unless you wish to risk it to overthinking it.

Mitabi: *smirk* Look at you now, cracking a little joke, Rico.

Rico: Just eyes forward.

Mikasa is trying to ask Eren something.

Mikasa: Eren. Are you all right? 

Eren: Yeah!

Rico is just watching the two,

Mikasa: Eren.

Eren: Seriously I'm fine! I'm much better then when we were surrounded!

Rico: Quit playing house, Jaeger! 

Eren: It isn't even like that!

Ian: Enough, all of you! We're almost to the shortest route to the boulder.

When they get there, they see OO sweeping the area, they signaled them that their route is clear. The OO begun to boost back to the decoy team.

Ian: I don't see any Titans in the vicinity. Their decoy tactic must be working.

At the other side, all of the soldiers are now preparing to dive in to the carnage.

Soldier: Listen! All we have to do is lure them into a corner of town! The machine can take care of them! Avoid any unnecessary fighting!

Rico advices Eren for this operation.

Rico: Just so you're aware,  Jeager... More than just a few will possibly die during this operation. All for the two of you. our colleagues, our seniors, and our juniors. They're prepared to die, of course. They're soldiers. But, they aren't faceless pawns, like what Vidar would say.

Ian: Let's go!

They launched their ODM gears and boost grapple to the boulder. OO followed up behind them. Eren transforms, when they landed they see Eren not moving. 

Mikasa: 'That boulder would be impossible to lift by any normal human means. But in Eren lies the strength to lead us...'

But then, Eren's titan begun to look at Mikasa.

Mikasa: Eren?

Y/n: *gasp* Mikasa, evade to the side!!!

The titan punched here Mikasa was located.
