I lived in wall Maria by the gates that go to Shanghai district.
I thought I was loved in my home and by my friends but I wasn't...

I was with my friends by a river. We were laughing and playing hide in seek or even tag but my favorite game was camouflage.

One of my friends closed her eyes and started to count I ran to the river and hid behind a tree there. I waited and she finish counting.

It was dead silence. I looked around and I couldn't see anyone of my friends. I looked back where Ivy was at, and she wasn't there. I turned around to be grabbed and pushed in to the freezing cold water.

Hands were on my legs, hands and stomach. I felt the waves of the water pushing me like trying to help me free. I didn't fight back, I saved my breaths because I could last longer doing nothing. About 2 minutes I started losing air.

Hands were taken off me one by one and I slowly got up. The wind hit my freezing cold face making me shiver. I look around and I see my OLD friends walking away laughing. I stood up and I saw it was dinner time. I walked out of the water and forced my self back home. I stumbled a few times but I got home I walked in side and I notice my parents were going to yell at me being late until they saw my wet clothes and wet hair.

I felt a few tears come out of my eyes and I stand there shivering. My mommy grabbed a blanket and put it around me. Daddy had picked me up afterwards and carried me to my room.

I changed in to the warmest clothes posable. I went to bed without dinner and put 3 blankets over me. I slowly and silently went to sleep worried about tomorrow because my friends didn't kill me.... they only taught me a lesson....Trust No One but family.

A month has past since my friends tried to kill me. I'm only 5 and I was traumatized by what they did. Ya there 2 years older then me do sent mean anything just that there older.

I walked out side with the money mom gave me and I went to Shanghai district to get food and medicine. I walked until I reach the gates and I smiled at Hannes.

'Hi Mister Hannes I need to get supplies today.' I smiled but then I notice he was drunk.

'Hey there Melody, go right *hiccup* ahead.' He smiled at me and pointed at the get I smiled back and walked through the gate to Shanghai District.

Walking through the the town I finally reach the merchants market and bought all I need. Lastly I went to the Jeager's house to get medicine, and I heard my parents say the Jeager's have a son that's a year younger then me. SWEET I'm not only.

I finally made it to there house and knocked on the door. When it opened there was a lady and I smiled at her. I hold the basket with food close to me.

'Hi Miss,Jeager I'm Melody Spear and I was told by my parents to come here to get medicine.' I gave a closed eye smile.

She smiled back and looked at me. 'I'm sorry Melody but Dr.Jeager isn't here yet so you'll have to wait to get the medicine for a little bit he should be back soon.'

I only nodded and smiled again.'That's ok I'll walked around town for a little but then.' I waved at her and started walking.

I memorised all the turned I took so I wouldn't get lost. As I was walking I heard kids laughing and yelling things that I will get slapped if I say. I walked over there and I saw kids bullying this blonde boy.

I March to them and kicked one of them and they fell and hold there foot.'You know I hate mean and rude people and you three boys are doing those things to him.' I pointed at the blonde and then I gave a death glare at them.

My parents told me that if looks could kill alot of people will be died because of me. I didn't understand stand it.

I notice one of the boys had something Shiney in there pocket. I looked at it closely and it was a switch blade. How did a 8 years old get that.

I tried not to look frightening by staying emotionless. Yep I learned how to emotionless since the 'Drowning accident'.

I stood my ground 'Leave the boy alone or you'll have to deal with me.' They only laughed and said how can a 5 year old beat them.

Well this five year old had a uncle who taught me to fight when my parents left him to babysit me.

One boy threw a punch at me I dodged it and hit him on the chin and he stumbled back and landed on his butt. The other one tried to hit me from behind but I crouch and kick his feet from under them.

I watched as the two boys were scared out of there minds but the last boy was going to be tuff.
The boy ran to me with his fists out he was going to hit me but I moved out of the way and tripped him.

'That's what you get bullies.' I stuck my tongue out and walked back to the blonde.

'Hi my names Melody my last name is Spear but you can call me Mel if you like.' I looked at the boy and I saw fright in his eyes and then it went to happiness.

'The names Armin. Armin Alert.'
He smiled and I returned a closed eye smile.

I was going to say something but I felt something hit my side. I looked and the switch blade was in my side. The boys were running and I felt on my butt and pulled out the switch blade.

'Armin go get Mis.Jeager for me. She knows my parents and me and she'll help now hurry!' I saw him scramble up and running in the direction I came from.

I slide up against the wall and hold the wound. I tossed the switch blade away from me and I focused on my surroundings and not the wound.

Soon I heard footsteps steps but my vision was blurry so I couldn't see anyone. I smiled and as my eyes closed my eyes.

'I'm glade someone came.' My eyes closed and I felt my body in slumber.
