Libricus charged at Rachael's sprite. Luckily, she came prepared. She dodged the demon's dagger and landed the first hit on him with her knife. Rachael did this two more times, and Libricus hunched over.

"Did I get him already?!" she wondered.

Rachael was proven wrong not long after she thought that.

The demon tore his bearded face off, revealing the skull that terrified many people over the years. Like with Brad Kazinsky, Libricus lunged forward and stabbed Rachael's sprite in the stomach, affecting her in the real world.

Corey, her younger brother, rushed over to help. To his surprise, she continued even though she had a stab wound.

The second phase of the boss fight had Libricus moving faster than before. Knowing the fate of herself and her friends if she failed, she put forth all her effort. After five minutes of constantly avoiding getting mutilated, Rachael injured Libricus another three times.

He hovered in the air, now coughing up blood. Rachael then looked at Shane and said, "It's time."

Shane nodded in approval and began reciting the passage.

"Hac nocte sto, dona mihi potestatem sequentem in hunc mundum adducere: Libricus!"

The air became deathly quiet. Then the computer Rachael used cracked. Blood began to pour out, flowing past the keyboard and onto the floor. Amazingly, it seemed to have a mind of its own; it rushed towards the pentagram. The blood combined with the symbol, and soon Libricus himself rose from the ground.

Without delay, Shane ran forward with his kitchen knife and stabbed him in the chest. The skull-faced monster let out a gurgling noise, then inexplicably smiled. With the knife still sticking in his ribs, Libricus raised his dagger and stabbed Shane in his left eye.

Everyone in the room screamed, "NO!!!"

Libricus then declared:

NOW IT'S TIME FOR PHASE THREE.

He stabbed Shane a second time, this time in his right temple. This action caused his right eye to become bloodshot as he slumped to the ground.
