Level 1- The Silverton Haunting

A young woman sat at her computer playing a retro video game. She controlled a man with brown hair, a green polo shirt, khakis, and brown shoes. The man eventually reached a pink door with a crimson border. The game emitted a loud static noise when he tried to open it. Then, the computer screen turned blue.

"Are you kidding me with this shit?!" the woman exclaimed, banging her fist on the computer table.

At that moment, a door nearby swung open.

"What...?" she stated out loud.

"CUT!"

Shane Nolan, a dark-haired twenty-something aspiring filmmaker, had gotten the shot he wanted.

"You were excellent," he told Rachael Melton, an attractive actress of about 20. She was playing a fictionalized version of Kylie Berry, a legend in the paranormal world who survived events now being adapted into a film. Rachael also bore an uncanny resemblance to Kylie.

"Thank you," Rachael replied. "I want to make her proud."

"Keep it up, and The Silverton Haunting will. That goes for everyone," said Shane. He cleared his throat and told the crew, "That's a wrap for today."

The crew started to leave Shane's Harrisburg house, doubling for Kylie Berry's house. Rachael approached Joe Tanaka, the always imaginative special effects supervisor, and asked, "How did you program that game so well?"

"The real Kylie gave this interview where she described every detail of that video game she played," Joe answered. "It was so bizarre; she remembered every single detail."

"I don't blame her; something like that can mess you up beyond belief," said Rachael. "What's she doing these days, anyway?"

"From what I've heard, she's away at some Syracuse college working towards, ironically enough, a psych major."

"Really? That's actually kind of cool."

Crew members continued talking about the film until they got to their own homes, wondering what could be next for them.

They would find out soon enough.
