Jungkook washed up for the day and went to the kitchen for breakfast, an apple, not missing the way Yoongi and Hoseok were preparing dinner already, Taehyung sitting on a stool watching them.
He had seen Namjoon in the living room reading a book, and he knows where Seokjin is. Knows where Jimin is.
In the gaming room...
All day, apparently.
That's great. Jungkook's friends are hanging out with Seokjin. He truly likes that. He likes that they're all working together, even if this whole trip feels like a drama show scenario.
He's totally liking it!
What he's not liking, though...
"Hey, hyung."
He went to the game room to try and hang out, met with the sight of Seokjin sitting at the computer desk and Jimin with a chair pulled next to him.
"Hey," Jin replied, but not taking his eyes off of the computer.
Jungkook stood there, nothing else to really do. Jimin was leaned over, his eyes also set on the screen, and there were no other chairs for Jungkook to sit in. So he stood.
He watched the screen for a moment. Usually, he plays on a console and not on a computer, so whatever game Jin is playing, he has no clue. What he /does/ have a clue about is that he and Seokjin are supposed to go live today. Today is Friday.
Today was very much anticipated. Has been ever since Jungkook and Jin were told to go live together.
Jungkook gets excited over the smallest things. And if things go wrong, he always finds a way to blame himself. So not only was he excited, but he was also very nervous.
He knows he'll feel good. Knows that Jin always makes him feel pretty, satisfied, relaxed- whatever. But he also knows that he can mess up, especially live.
For instance, that time that Jin and Jungkook had to shoot the anniversary film and Jungkook accidentally came way faster than he intended. It was /sort of/ okay because they could edit that out.
This, though?
Live.
No backing out, no editing, no messing up, no out of the ordinary. Just act. Just act and you'll be okay.
Yeah, right. Jungkook always loves the thrill, but never like this. Never if there's the chance of embarrassing himself live!!
But today, that isn't even Jungkook's problem. No. His problem is sitting right in front of him.
Seokjin on the computer, playing games. Playing games with Jimin.
The problem...
"Hyung—"
"Attack that guy!" Jimin cut Jungkook off, pointing desperately at the screen.
Seokjin was also desperately clicking the mouse, apparently going against someone in the game.
"I'm trying to!" Seokjin huffed, sort of chuckled. "He's strong, okay?"
Jimin shook his head in disappointment as the computer screen lit up in bold letters, YOU DIED. But even so, Seokjin started another game right after- or maybe he just re-spawned.
Jungkook hummed as he watched. It's very clear that the two are comfortable and have probably been here all day, as Jimin said.
He sighed out, though. "Hyung. We're supposed to film—"
"Shit! He's beating my ass," Seokjin cut him off this time, referring to the character on screen attacking his character. It was clear that he probably didn't hear Jungkook or was ignoring him.
Jungkook rolled his eyes and instead walked out of the room, tired of being ignored and interrupted. Clearly, those two were too busy for him.
Clearly, they were having fun.
Whatever.
Jungkook went to his and Seokjin's bedroom and simply stood there for a moment, trying to figure out what to do. What to do with the live.
They were supposed to go live earlier, but Jungkook can settle for now. He can just go live whenever, and honestly, he wanted to get it out of the way early so he could relax today.
So instead of waiting for Jin, he started to set up his things— things being his tripod for his phone and his phone set onto it.
The angle was perfect, the phone pointed down onto the bed, facing him so he could see what he was doing.
He has a camera and equipment for better quality live streams, but he didn't want the extra weight on vacation, and nobody cares about the quality. They care about pleasure.
So his phone was fine for the occasion. And he wouldn't be too loud or obnoxious during the live. He's just going to play a bit.
Without Jin.
He's busy. It's whatever.
Jungkook isn't going to wait all day. That's not what he had planned. So, he turns on the stream with high hopes. Less tension, but it's fine.
"Miss me?" he asked the phone.
Nobody was watching yet except a few viewers, but the views would come in soon. He had tweeted just before he started setting up that he was going to go live.
Sure enough, thousands of views came in quickly.
Now is time to act.
"You've come in for a short live today, babes," he told the viewers. "Bun's just gonna play a bit. Thought you'd like to watch, yeah?"
Comments filled the stream and it was very amusing.
He started the live easily, like usual. Slowly stripping, teasing the viewers, nothing too special. He was down to just his boxers, palming himself through them.
But just before he was feeling himself get into it, the door to the bedroom opened quickly, a slight shock to Jungkook. He quickly covered himself with his blanket, forgetting the live.
Seokjin walked in like it was nothing, head tilted and eyebrows creased.
"Why did you go live without me?" He closed the door and walked in further.
Jungkook frowned as he looked back at the phone. He's still live!
But Seokjin walked behind the phone, out of view, and reached around to press the 'Exit' button.
He ended the live! What the hell? That just ruined everything! Why did he even come into the room in the first place if he knew that Jungkook was live? Why did he ruin it midway through?
Jungkook huffed.
"You were on that stupid game all day," Jungkook reached for his phone and snatched it away. "I didn't plan on going live at midnight, hyung. What did you want me to do? Wait forever?"
Seokjin stood at the end of the bed, just looking down at him. "I don't know. You could've asked me to come in here, at least," he said.
The glare that Jungkook gave him must've made the older uncomfortable because he averted his eyes and let his head fall.
"Are you actually joking right now?" Jungkook continued with his glare still set on Jin's face.
"What?" Seokjin muttered.
He looked up at Jungkook, but all he did was stare at Jin for a moment.
Jungkook /did/ try to get Jin's attention! He was trying to get him to come in here but he was too busy playing games, and Jungkook didn't plan to go live late. He planned to do things today.
"Nothing," he rolled his eyes then. "I need to change clothes," and fix /my/ live that you just ruined, Jungkook thought. "Just get out."
His words sounded harsher than he intended, but he's barely been awake for a few hours and he's already feeling stressed and overwhelmed.
Seokjin stood there for a moment as Jungkook crossed his arms over the blanket, waiting for him to leave.
Jungkook couldn't help the angry look on his face, eyes narrowed and brows furrowed, so he looked away from Jin to try and stop himself.
He shouldn't be so irritated. He shouldn't even be too upset with Seokjin, but for some reason he just is. He's just... It's a bad day already.
But at least Jin eventually left the room, leaving him all alone.
That's what he wanted.
