Okay so I was taking a break from writing because school got hectic and I really needed to focus on projects and keeping my grades up and such and that was gonna be that.

But see, my brain has a habit of wanting to create things when it's stressed so when I got Extra Stressed™️, I ended up making a short about superheroes and super villains, mostly just these two characters.

And I figured I might as well post them so here's some quick information on the characters that I'm gonna post a short or two for later.

It's pretty basic information so I'll probably come back and add more later.

Universes/Books: While they don't really have a book or anything, I like to call the universe they're in 'Silver Lining'

Name: Janus Harrison
Alias: Dark Matter

Ethnicity: American
Alignment: A Villain, specifically apart of an organization called VHV or Villains Helping Villains.

Appearance: Janus has pale green eyes and dark brown hair. His hair does reach to his neck but just barely and is often styled to sweep on his right side. He has fair skin and when wearing casual clothes, often wears all black and anything that can hide his identity. He has a skinny body and isn't too tall for a guy, being 5'5.

His villain costume is pretty simple: All black  with a big, flowing cape and black boots. His hands are exposed most of the time so he can easily use his power and his cape has a collar that reaches past his chin and could reach his mouth if he stretches it a little.

Janus is generally seen as a very flashy villain, all bark and no bite. He's high ranked due to his rarer and more powerful magic but hasn't actually killed anyone or done anything too bad. However, he's still considered a threat as he has stolen some pretty important things and is apart of VHV and thus, has to be covered.

Powers:
- Janus' main power is Energy Manipulation. He can conjure blackish-gray energy from seemingly nowhere with his hands and manipulate it to his needs. He mostly uses it as a weapon, creating balls of it to throw at his opponents.

This energy burns when it comes in contact with someone and can pass through simple materials like clothing or cloth in general but brick walls and metal makes it break apart. It can create burns if prolonged on a person and generally chips away at the energy they have.

If Janus keeps them harmless, they'll still burn when they hit but instead of creating burns, it'll make you more and more exhausted the more hits you take.

They can be used in many different other ways- ranging from being able to burn through things to even some cases of someone using energy manipulation to replenish someone else's magical energy- but Janus has no idea how to use it like that as he has yet to meet someone in person with the same power as him. Anything he wants to know about his power, he had to teach himself.

While there has yet to be a proper explanation for what his energy is, it's been speculated that he can control dark matter itself, hence his choice for a villain name.

- The other power is simply having a resistance to his own powers, in which he cannot be hurt by it, even if it's deflected.

Backstory:
- Became a villain as soon as he could (18 years old) due to growing up with a group who all did the same. Is no longer friends with anyone in said group.
- Was taken in by a villain agency pretty quickly once he showed off his power to the world
- Has known Genesis for around four years.
- Once kidnapped Genesis for a week straight after he learned too much but did his best to keep him comfy despite this. Played video games with him.
- Screwed up big time when he screwed over a villain called Thunderclap for getting rough with Genesis and got into BIG trouble with VHV. (As this was not his first time screwing up big time because he wanted to preserve his relationship with Genesis)

Alignment: A Hero, working with an agency called 'HUGG' which stands for Heroes United for the Greater Good.

Appearance: Ty has dark, shaggy hair and silver eyes. He has tanned skin and has been described as hard to read. His civilian form often wears different shades of blue with jackets and jeans. He wears a pair of blue rimmed glasses that have been built to give Ty the appearance of having pale blue eyes to hide his identity better.

His hero suit is made of a flexible material and has a strange design of having some of it being blue and some of it being green. Both of his arms and most of his body is blue but his legs and some of his hips are green.

Power:
Ty has one power: Creation. Ty can create almost any non living thing that he knows of, as long as he has the energy for it. Bigger creations take longer and require a lot of work but are technically possible. However, Ty prefers smaller ones. He has to know what the item is made of and mimics its properties with his hands to create it.

Everything he creates has a blue-ish glow to it, meaning he can't create things like money because it's pretty obvious he made it. Everything he creates can last about a day if it's not damaged but everything he creates can be shattered if it reaches a certain limit.

There's one major weakness to everything he creates: It actually is weak to electricity. Electricity will pass right through it as if it's an illusion. This means Ty has trouble defending himself against electric villains.

Both of Ty's parents are aware he's a superhero and support him. They're also HUGE history nerds and very enthusiastic.

Backstory:
- Is named 'Tiberius' despite his ethnicity because his parents were obsessed with Rome at the time
- Has wanted to be a hero since he was small
- Worked hard and got into the academy for superheroes. There, he met his current best friend, Vic, and endured the training with her
- Has known Dark Matter for around four years
- Was once kidnapped by Dark Matter for a week but actually says it wasn't too bad and he even played video games with him.
- One day, is given a tip by the hero 'Oracle' and happens to be in the right place at the right time when Dark Matter turns up.

I made these guys likeeeee a week ago? Maybe a little less, but I just got attached really quickly and wrote down short ideas.
