Third Person

The four men all giggled as they sat around the table, happily drinking whatever they pleased. The whole bar was cleared out, leaving only them and the bartender, who didn't pay attention to them and just cleaned the table.

It was clear to anyone who even so much as glanced at them that they were utterly drunk.

Finally, among all their drinking and laughing at even the smallest attempts of humor, one managed to get to his feet, or several in his case. CannibalCrab shakily picked up his drink and raised it in the air. His eyes turned towards Cody and he gave the biggest grin possible.

"I may not live to see our glory!" He giggled, swaying a bit.

Professor Pikalus and Captain Deadlock, the other two, both repeated his phrase. "I may not live to see our glory!"

"But I've seen wonders great and small!" Cannibal took another swig of his drink and remained to have the same doofy smile on his face.

"I've seen wonders great and small!" They repeated, Cody staying silent, a little less drunk than the other three but not by much.

"'Cause if the tomcat can get married,"

"If Cody Maverick can get married!" Pikalus nudged his side and shot a smirk. Cody just laughed along with them as Deadlock could barely contain himself from snickering.

Cannibal locked eyes with Cody and pumped his drink in the air. "There's hope for all us after all!"

Cody bristled, a little offended but couldn't stay mad as Pikalus nearly fell over in laughter and Deadlock patted his back hard, doing the same. "Raise a glass to freedom!" Professor managed to wheeze out.

"Hey! Something you will never see again!" Cody's face flushed red as Deadlock and Cannibal teased him lightly.

"No matter what she tells you!" The shrimp pointed and snickered.

Pikalus quickly caught the bartender's attention and ordered more drinks. "Let's have another round tonight!"

The bartender quickly brought them over and all four took one, raising it in the air. "Raise a glass to the four of us!"

"To the newly not poor of us!" Captain added. He knew that somewhere, wherever Sam and her bridesmaids had gone off to, Sam was now a rich woman.

"Woo!" They all cried and began to drink. While most just took a sip, Captain Deadlock could handle it and started to chug his.

"We'll tell the story of tonight." Pikalus sighed, slumping down and starting to get sleepy.

While the rest of them began to finish off their drinks, Cody's eyes drifted, now noticing the door was wide open and letting cold air out. Not only this, but someone passed by and paused, glancing inside. Cody could tell this person was contemplating joining them but eventually started to walk away. Cody however, knowing this person, grinned and got up right as Cannibal suggested getting more drinks.

The others began to follow when they noticed Cody running off.

Outside, KrakenKid was just walking off when someone grabbed his shoulder and yanked him back. He stumbled in surprise and nearly dropped his jaw at who it was. Cody wiggled his eyebrows. "Well, if it isn't KrakenKid."

"Sir!" KrakenKid said, a little sheepish that Cody caught him in the act of walking away from the bachelor party. KrakenKid didn't see how it was a bachelor party because Cody was already married, but he didn't question.

"I didn't think that you would make it." Cody's eyes glinted happily.

"To be sure." KrakenKid joked.

"Kraken!" Captain and Cannibal greeted when they caught up.

"I came to say congratulations!" KrakenKid smiled and nodded at Cody. Cody, who was a little more than really drunk, looked like he was about to cry from joy.

"Spit a verse, Kid!" Deadlock laughed. It was only just then that KrakenKid truly realized how many drinks they had that night.

"I see the whole gang is here," The kraken mused.

Pikalus stumbled to the front of the group and stumbled to point at the kraken accusingly. "You are the worst, Kid!" Professor's eyes narrowed. He looked like he wanted to fight him right there and then, but his legs wobbled from under him and prevented him from doing anything there.

Cody's eyes rolled and pulled Professor behind him, taking his place as the person standing right in front of KrakenKid. "Ignore him, congrats to you, Lieutenant Colonel!" Cody gave a little bow, knowing that KrakenKid had been promoted in his rank in Atlantis. "I wish I had your command instant of manning Rasmus' journal..."

KrakenKid rolled his eyes playfully. "No, you don't."

"Yes, I do!" Cody agrued.

"Now be sensible!" He nudged him lightly. "We both know that you're indispensable."

Cannibal laughed to himself before a rumor came to his mind. He had been meaning to ask KrakenKid for a while but he always knew he'd try to dodge the question, but now, in front of four other friends? He had to answer it!

CannibalCrab came up next to the kraken and pressed his shoulders to KrakenKid's. "Well, well, I heard, you got a special someone on the side, Kid."

KrakenKid's body tensed up and his face flushed. Cody's eyes lit up. KrakenKid in a relationship? A secret one no less? He had to know! "Is that so?" The penguin asked, eyes lighting up.

"What are you trying to hide, Kid?" Cannibal wiggled his eyebrows but to his surprise, KrakenKid began to back up, his face still as red as ever. 

"I should go..." He said, putting his hands up.

But Cody's rolled in response. "No, these guys should go!"

"What?" Cannibal blurted out, a little offended.

"No!" Pikalus cried out. He wanted to know more.

"Leave us alone!" Cody responded and pushed them inside the bar.

"Man..." Deadlock sighed, as Cody closed the door behind them.

Cody and KrakenKid began to walk, setting off to the streets of Atlantis to have a little talk. Cody was more than a little curious to know more about KrakenKid's love life, he didn't even know he had one! "It's alright, Kid." He smiled as they walked. "I wish you brought this girl with you tonight, Kid."

KrakenKid briefly glanced at him before chuckling wishfully. "You're very kind, but I'm afraid it's unlawful..."

Cody cocked his head. "What do you mean?"

He paused before sighing. "... She's taken."

The yellow eyes dropped to the ground while Cody began to think. Maybe they could work past that? He seemed to really like her. "I see..."

KrakenKid noticed his behavior and decided to add the nail in the coffin. "She's taken by an Atlantean Officer." He clarified, making Cody's eyes go wide.

"Oh crap."

KrakenKid just lightly shook his head and offered his hand to shake. "Congrats again, Cody Maverick. Smile more!" Their hands shook and the kraken began to walk off. "I'll see you on the other side of the war."

But Cody couldn't let it go. He saw the pain in KrakenKid's eyes when he mentioned she was taken. "I will never understand you... If you love this woman, go get her! What are you waiting for?"

The kraken paused. He could have said so much, but Cody wouldn't understand. Cody always went after whatever he wanted, even if it was clear that he shouldn't. So he just glanced back and shook his head. "I'll see you on the other side of the war."

Cody watched as he left and sighed. "I'll see you on the other side of the war.

Alright, this one kinda has a weird timeline to fit the song.

KrakenKid and Cannibal live in Atlantis so they're not really threats in this one. KrakenKid works for the military and gains a fairly high rank, while Cody is just getting married and having a party afterwards with his buddies. KrakenKid pops in at the key time of "Everyone Is So Utterly Drunk"

Ah, good times.

I had fun with this one! A little different from what I normally do, I have an animation of the song rather than the lyrics but mainly because I wanted the workshop version of the song rather than the original because they sound more drunk in the workshop version and I find it hilarious! The song is "The Story Of Tonight Reprise"
