I'm named the starting pitcher in game 4 of the World Series against the Astros at Truist Park in Atlanta and all of my family, friends, my girlfriend, and my girlfriend's family are sitting with the other Braves players family.

"Alex you're the starting pitcher tonight" Brian Snitker said.

"I'll do my absolute best" I said.

And then we go practice on the field and I go to the bullpen to warm up and then they introduce the teams.

"And now make some noise for the starting lineup for your Atlanta Braves of game 4 of the World Series batting first in center field number 13 Ronald Acuna Jr.,batting second playing second base number 1 Ozzie Albies,batting third playing first base number 5 Freddie Freeman, batting fourth playing left field number 27 Austin Riley,batting fifth playing right field number 14 Adam Duvall,batting sixth playing shortstop number 7 Dansby Swanson, batting seventh playing catcher number 16 Travis D'Arnaud, batting eighth playing third base number 17 Johan Camargo, and batting ninth and pitching number 0 Alex Johnson" the announcer said and the Braves fans cheered.

And then I go to the dugout from the bullpen to starting pitch the most important game in my career.

And then we go on the field.

"Play ball" the umpire said.

"Batting first playing centerfield number 4 George Springer" the announcer said and the crowd boos.

"Strike one" the umpire says.

"Strike two" the umpire says.

"Foul ball" the umpire says.

"Strike three and you're out" the umpire says.

"Let's go over to Kelly Crull who is with Alex's girlfriend Louisa Johnson" the announcer said.

"Ladies and Gentlemen I'm here with Alex's girlfriend Louisa Johnson and I have to ask you how are you feeling that your boyfriend is pitching the most important game of his career" Kelly said.

"I haven't thought about it and to see him pitching the potential World Series winning game is mind blowing because he worked so hard to get to this moment" Louisa said in her Essex Accent.

"Walk" the umpire said.

"And the perfect game is over" the announcer said.

"Batting third playing third base number 2 Alex Bregman" the announcer said.

And then he hits the ball and it goes straight to Dansby and then we turn the double play.

"What a double play" the announcer said.

"Guys Alex Johnson is three outs away from a no hitter and from winning the World Series" the announcer said.

"Guys one more out for the Braves to win the World Series for the first time since 1995 can Alex do it" the announcer said.

"You can do it baby" Louisa said in her Essex Accent.

"Strike one" the umpire says.

"Strike two" the umpire says.

"One more strike for Alex Johnson to throw a no hitter" the announcer said.

And then I look around to all of the Braves fans.

"And strike three and the Braves are World Series Champions and Alex Johnson just threw a no hitter" the announcer says.

"Yes baby" Louisa screamed when I struck him out to win the World Series.

And then the Braves dog pile over me.

"Ladies and Gentlemen turn your attention to the field for the presentation of the World Series championship and the crowning of the World Series MVP" the Announcer said.

"It is my honor to present the World Series championship to your Atlanta Braves and now the presentation of the World Series MVP Award" Rob Manfred said.

"And your World Series MVP goes to Alex Johnson come over here and say a few words" Rob Manfred said.

And then I step up to the podium with tears in my eyes.

"What's up Atlanta I never thought that I would win the World Series in my rookie season and the important part of it is that my family, friends, my girlfriend,my girlfriend's family, and all of the Braves fans got to see me win the World Series and this absolutely means the world to me to win the World Series with my hometown team Atlanta Braves" I said.

And then I go hug my family and friends with tears in my eyes.

"I did it baby" I said to my girlfriend Louisa with tears in my eyes.

"I'm so incredibly proud of you baby" Louisa said to me in her Essex accent and then kissed me on the lips.
