➸ one : type on the the desired text

➸ two : click on the text, click style, press create color pattern, it should look something like this

➸ three : change horizontal to vertical (purple circle), adjust opacity of each box by changing alpha (minty green? circle), I usually set the blue circles as the darkest color and for the red circle, i switch things up and adjust it the way i like
