➸ one : open the image you want to edit

➸ two : select the watercolor (real) brush, I set mine to 18px but you can adjust it the way you want

➸ three : make sure to create a new layer, then draw the tears

➸ four : set the layer to soft light

➸ five : create a new layer, using the airbrush (normal) draw on the very end/tip of the tears to emphasize the teardrop

➸ six : set that layer's opacity to 35%, or whichever amount you think is best

➸ seven : using a dip pen (hard), I set mine to 2.0 px, draw a small but noticeable line to serve as light's reflection on the teardrop, I made mine a little bit blurred, you can do the same with either the blur tool or gaussian blur under filters

➸ eight :  i drew another line to show light's reflection, but this time on top, again you can blur it just like i did, it's not obvious but i also added a very light shadow. using an airbrush and a darker shade of her skintone, i simply followed the curves of the tear and set the layer's opacity really low. the shadow is on the left side of the tear because the light is coming from the right.

➸ nine : continue adding "reflection lines" on the areas you think need them, keep in mind where the light is coming from, in this case, the light is coming from the right side that is why i put the lines on right side as well

➸ ten : go back to the tear's layer and set the opacity to 15% or whichever you think is best

➸ eleven (optional/bonus) : i added some redness to the eyes just to make it a teensy bit more real

Again, this is like the second time I've tried making tears, I know it's not realistic and that it looks like goop instead of water. But right now, that's all I can do.
