I have to go. Have to run away. I have no choice m-my step-mum... she's A-A-Arachne...  I still can't believe it...

I couldn't believe it. My only daughter. Leaving. But... she said she may come back... I hope she does.

Finally. If I couldn't freak her out or kill her this was the best option.

Annabeth's POV

"AHHH! WHO ARE YOU? ARE YOU M-MONSTERS?" I screamed. The boy with sandy hair replied, "No, we're not monsters, we're demigods, and it seems like you are too. I'm Luke. The girl is Thalia." The girl, Thalia, scoffed. "Don't use that hammer use the dagger." She said. "Huh? Oh... What's your name?" Asked Luke. "A-Annabeth," I said cautiously. "Well, Annabeth,  use this dagger" he told me. I took it and smiled hugely. "Thanks!"
