Atem had rushed to the palace hoping to see (name) there. "Oh! Welcome back Pharaoh" Mana greeted Atem with a smile and a worried look "the guards that were watching the village is keeping a girl captive" Atem just nods and goes to sit on his throne "bring her in!" Atem shouted to the slaves and other guards as they nod their heads and do as told. Atem took a deep breath, he just met the girl and witnessed her getting cut just to make someone feel like they belong. She was indeed interesting. Ra has indeed chosen the right women to become his Queen. But will she accept being his Queen?

The guards bring in the familiar (h/c)nette as they shoved her to the ground "Pharaoh, we have the prisoner" the guard on the right spoke first. Atem looked at the guards and back at (name) as she had her eyes covered with a blindfold, her hands were tied tightly in ropes, she had a few bruises, but she still looked brave and strong. 

'I should test her just in case'

Atem thought to himself knowing just what to ask, "tell me (name), why do you help others?" Atem asked. But (name) took a minute to answer "because" her voice was a bit horse but she cleared her throat and spoke again while shaking the blindfold off so she could look at the Pharaoh in the eyes. Atem was taken aback seeing the determination and honesty in her eyes, not once did he see a princess have eyes like that.

"They deserve better. The kids and adults who has suffered deserve to be treated with kindness, with equality like everyone else because we are all human''

(Name)'s answer made Atem's eyes widen, her compassion towards others was beyond what Atem had thought it was. Hearing kicking and shouting Atem was brought back to reality seeing the guards abusing (name) "HOW DARE YOU SPEAK OF NONSENSE TO HIS MAJESTY!!" "YOU ARE NEVER TO LOOK AT THE PHARAOH IN THE EYES!!" Then the guard on the left kicked (name)'s stomach with all of his strength making her double over coughing blood but she had closed her mouth so she wouldn't get the golden floors dirty. Atem was surprised when (name) just sat there panting. Had she swallowed the blood she was coughing?! The guard on the right grabbed (name)'s hair pulling her up as she winced and whimpered in pain, for some reason this angered Atem.

"PUT HER DOWN!!!!"

All was surprised by Atem's reaction. The guard did as told as Atem's legs began to move by themselves making him run to (name)'s body, Atem helped her sit on her knees as he moved her hair behind her ear to see her smiling "huh?" Atem questioned. (Name) started to giggle which turned to an insane laughter, everyone had stared at the girl as if she was going mad "sorry, sorry" she said as she looked at the Pharaoh "it's just... someone told me this was going to happen" someone told her that this was going to happen? Who? Atem looked at (name) "who?'' he asked "Slifer, Ra, and Obelisk" she said, the guards walked towards (name), it showed disrespect if you looked a higher class in the eyes. But (name) had jumped out of Atem's grip as she kicked the guards in the face "I'm in ropes and I can still fight you" (name) said as she turned towards Atem "what has Ra told you?" (Name) asked "yes" Atem answered quickly.  

(Name) sighed "then I should make my leave.... But can someone take these ropes off?" (Name) asked as a random guard cuts off the ropes on Atem's order "actually (name)......... Ra says that you are to become my Queen....." Atem pushed down a blush. Everyone gasp in surprise "but Pharaoh, you cannot just marry a commoner. It would be better if you married a princess" Priest Seto panicked but Atem had shot back by saying "I know but for some odd reason I feel more attached to (name) than any other princess. I also prefer  someone who is brave, kind, and compassionate towards the other commoners" that made Priest Seto quiet. 

Atem looked at (name) and blushed "so (name)....." Atem cleared his throat as he held (name)'s hand in his "will you be my Queen?" Atem asked, (name) smiled "if that is what the Pharaoh wants then I will accept my fate" Atem smiled and hugged the commoner "thank you...... (Name)".
