After a few days of little to no sleep, Atem began to feel vague from lack of sleeping and eating causing (name) to worry about his well being. Also, Atem had gone to see the councilors daily which made the situation even stranger and (name) knew that there has to be something going on.

(Name)'s POV
I had gone into the garden with the cats as we laid on the ground where the sun didn't shine too bright. The soft fur from the cats was comforting as well as the faint scent of the multi colored flowers that tested in the garden. My nerves felt more relief as I inhale the scent and slowly exhale. Feeling a tail contact my neck I open my closed eyes seeing it was Yami. A paper scroll caught my attention as I grabbed the paper from Yami. With hands shaking of anticipation I opened the scroll and read what seemed the be a... Declaration... OF WAR?! BY AKEFIA?! Is this why Atem has gone to the councils lately? Maybe this has something to do with Atem's lack of sleep as well, don't tell em that Atem has stressed over this! 

My body had jolted up from the pile of fur as I looked at Yami who held anger filled eyes "thank you Yami" I said and I took a deep breath in 'Atem is stressed because of Akefia. Me yelling at him won't help him, I have to wait for the right moment when he isn't as stressed.' I said to myself. Soon I decided that I would invite Ate to bathe with me so I could give him a message and hopefully let his mind go for a bit before asking about this tensing subject. I began to make my way to the front of the palace in order to go to the town to visit Mrs. Amaya or the orphanage but a striking pain filled my body making me fall to the floor as I held my body trying to ease the pain. The cats rushed to my side mewing to get my attention as if to ask if I was ok. I just nod my head and try to stand up but it doesn't work due to the pain making me fall back down. I sat on the ground for a few minutes before the pain eased away as I sigh with relief before standing back up and making my way to the town where Mrs. Amaya stood with a smile as I approach her.

"Hello (name)!" She greets and I greet back "hello Mrs. Amaya!" Mrs. Amaya's smile grew as she welcomed me to her booth as I stepped under the tarp that blocked Ra's harsh sun rays. Mrs. Amaya looked at me "so what can I do for you today?" I became nervous since I wanted to tell her about my pregnancy and about the Declaration of War from Akefia but I don't want to stress her either way. Oh well, let's get it over with. I began to tell Mrs Amaya about my pregnancy and decided t leave the Akefia thing out of it knowing it might've been an important secret considering Atem hasn't told me about it yet. The elder lady's eyes widen as she hugged me tightly while avoiding putting pressure against my stomach "I'm so proud that my little girl is all grown up!" Mrs. Amaya cheered not even realizing she called me her little girl but I didn't mind, she was like a  mother to me anyways so I overlooked the tiny mistake. After Mrs. Amaya's little burst I sat down while Mrs. Amaya worked and at simultaneously we talked about the life of a baby, how to take care of one, right and wrongs of taking care of one, etc. and it was pretty fun just talking about it too! When the sun started to set I decided to go back so I gave Mrs. Amaya a hug before telling her goodbye and I was soon off to the palace. 

No One's POV

Atem had been sitting in his chair in the conference room for hours now just discussing war tactics against Akefia. Atem's been to war countless times but this time it felt more personal knowing that the chance (name) might get involved and hurt which made Atem worry. Ever night when (name) fell asleep Atem went to the guards to see if they saw anything and then he would go off and look around the palace himself before going back to (name) to protect her in case that bastard, Akefia, came to take her. 

The conference ended when Atem confirmed his plans during the war that would happen soon. Atem left the room and went to the gardens to clear his mind. The moon shined brightly as the temperature of the desert began to drop, the mewing of cats caught Atem's attention as he turned around to see that Badru had looked at him "what is it Badru? Shouldn't you be with (name)?" Atem asked as Badru then hissed slightly before running off. Shocked, Atem ran after him knowing something bad must've happened. Upon making it to the front of the palace Atem's eyes widen seeing that a dark figure had picked up what he saw was (name) "(NAME)!" Atem called out as the figure turned their head towards Atem. With amazing speed, Atem ran to the figure tackling them and Atem felt all of his anger build up with his stress as he picks (name) up, throwing her over his shoulder "you better fucking leave you bitch" Atem threatened making the figure chuckle "how funny, I don't remember the last time you seemed this stressed" the figure revealed their self as Akefia. Atem cursed the Thief King under his breath as Akefia let out another cackle "what's your plan to defeat me Pharaoh? Surely it isn't using your own wife as bait" Akefia chuckled and Atem gives Akefia a hellish death glare "try me, Akefia, I'm not in the best mood" Atem challenged but Akefia grinned "apologies my king. But not now" and with that Akefia left "damn you" Atem cursed before looking at (name) with a sad look "my plan to protect (name) will be full-proof" Then Atem went back inside.
