No One's POV
The rest of the day had gone off as peaceful for the palace and the those in the village. The enemy was gone and the meant that no war would start. At least that's what they believed.

A tanned man in a long red robe stood outside of the village with his army of bandits behind him "hahaha... if they think they can rid of me then they're wrong" the man chuckled maliciously. He turned to the army of bandits behind him where a woman with a long purple cloak stood "and it's thanks to you, sorceress, that I can do that" he said. The purple cloaked woman had been a prisoner of this malicious man and had been forced to form a man to look like his captivator.

"At last, it will be the reign of Akefia: The Thief King!"

He cackled raising his hand throwing it back down sending his army sneak around the village before they would start the attack that would reveal the fate of the palace. 

Atem and (name) had arrived into the library where Johan was organizing scriptures. Noticing the top nobles' presence, Johan bowed with respect "forgive the mess. I did not expect any visitors" Johan said nervously making Atem chuckle "it is fine Johan. I appreciate your efforts of keeping the records in order" Atem said flattering the scripture "i-it is my p-pleasure" Johan bowed his head. (Name) smiled at the scriptures flattered behavior. Johan cleared his throat "is there anything you need?" He asked "nothing really. We just decided to walk around the palace" (name) answered and Atem nodded in confirmation making Johan nod before the couple bids Johan farewell as so did the scripture. 

The two then left the library deciding to just walk around aimlessly before Yami had run up to Atem climbing up onto his shoulder "what is it Yami?" Atem asks alarmed. Yami jumped down and had hissed in the direction he ran from confusing the two. Atem had instructed Yami to lead the way as the Egyptian bau does so "(name), go back to the room. I'll be back" Atem instructed and (name) nods as she went back to the room [A/N: SHE GOTTA SCURRY!!] where there she felt the familiar pain in her stomach except it hurt much MUCH worse this time. Mana had been cleaning the royal chambers as the sound of a loud thud hit her ears as she goes to the direction of the sound surprised to see (name) "QUEEN!-" "Mana! Th-the baby!" Mana was shocked but understood what was going on so she took (name) into the room laying (name) down on the floor after putting a long cloth underneath. As Mana went to go fetch warm water the pain erupted in (name)'s stomach.

When Mana came back (name) had stood up leaning on the wall "what are you doing?! you should be lying down" Mana placed a hand on (name)'s shoulder but that didn't stop the pregnant queen "I have a bad feeling Mana. A feeling that tells me that I shouldn't have left Atem's side. I have to go back" then a loud bang was heard at the door. The door swung open showing a bandit holding a blade making both females' eyes to widen "get away from the Queen!" A voice shouted as the bandit fell forwards revealing Priest Mahad [oh now I decide to add people!] with his group of guards "Queen, Mana. Are you alright?" The high priest asks "we're fine. Where's Atem?" (name) questioned as Priest Mahad answered by telling her "he has given me orders to not let you leave this room" (name)'s eyes widen with absurdity as she mentally prayed to the Gods that Atem would stay safe.

While with Atem, he had followed Yami all the way to the Throne Room not expecting to see Akefia alive and well "but I- my guards..." Atem's words wouldn't leave his mouth. Akefia cackled and motioned to the sorceress "thanks to Abayomi, I was able to change one of my worthless men into another me" Atem's eyes widen with shock "WHAT IS THIS TO YOU? A GAME?!" Atem finally shouted with rage only making Akefia to cackle louder "NO, YOU IMBECILE! DON'T YOU SEE! THIS IS MY FINAL PHASE: TO SEPARATE YOU AND (NAME) SO I CAN SEND A GROUP OF MY MEN TO KILL HER WHILE I KILL YOU!" 

Atem gasped. He shouldn't have left (name)! Atem swiftly turned around only to be met with an attack from Akefia sending Atem stumbling back until he regained his stance sending a punch to Akefia's face sending the Thief against the wall. Back and forth, the two sent punches to each other not letting one opening through them. Indeed their equal power was quite intimidating. Their air made the fight more tense as they each challenged, cursed, taunted, each other. The moment Akefia left an opening, Atem took the split second sending a punch but also released an opening himself to which Akefia took granted of. Both had strike each other harshly sending one another back into the ground.

'Please Ra, I beg of you to protect (name).'

Atem prayed not knowing what had been going on in his chambers.

Blood had scattered like scarlet flowers in the wind as men from both side had fallen. Mahad panted feeling his vision become fuzzy but he looked back every now and then to make sure the two females behind him stayed safe. 

'Please Ra, I beg of you to protect Atem.'

(Name) prayed as well.

"MAHAD!"

Mana's scream made (name) turn to look at what happened. (Name) gasped seeing Mahad on the ground with a deep blade wound in the chest. Mahad had quickly stabbed the one who had attacked him in the neck making both fall. Mana and (name) kneel beside Mahad "Mahad, hold on! I'll go get help!" (Name) stands up and looks at Mana "please stay safe, Mana" "you too, (name)" the two female say to each other before (name) picks up a knife and begins making her way through the halls ready to find Atem to assist him in this fight for the palace. Their home. Had become a battlefield that held the blood of many.

'I will protect (name)/Atem!'
