Coleena would not be able to tell you when it happened, maybe around the time she saw her Father break her mothers heart. Despite being able to see how Ashley put her back together. Maybe she would tell you that it was the night she got kicked out of school, that solidified it. She would never have a clear answer as to why she stopped liking the idea of love.

She had never dated anyone, for the fear that she would end up like her mom. Meeting her soulmate already married to someone else. Collin Masters was Davina Caster's first love, her high school sweetheart. Davina had Coleena young, seventeen nearly eighteen. She married Collin at eighteen despite neither of them meeting their soulmates.

It wasn't until Coleena was five that Davina had met her soulmate. They had an insane connection, always knowing what the other needed. Almost like they could hear each others thoughts. They had even been told they moved like magnets. No one could deny that Davina and Ashley were meant for the other.

Maybe that was why her parents drifted apart. However that thought was always pushed away the second it popped up, Davina Caster and Collin Masters were simply just not written in the stars. It wasn't until Coleena turned 13 that Collin had met his own soulmate. He had left a week later, where Davina Caster had stayed and loved both of them, hurting Ashley all along the way. Collin Masters was simply not strong enough or cared enough about Davina and Coleena to stay.

She had been told her whole life that her other half was out there. She would not question that until she turned fifteen, Ashley and Davina had just been married and Ashley asked her if she was excited to meet her soulmate. Coleena had simply asked how she was not whole already. She loved her mom and Ashley, she loved herself. Was there something more that she was missing?

A witch does have a soulmate, and the forming of the bond happens at the first contact of them. Weather you're passing each other in a store or have been friends your whole life. Once a witch unlocks her powers and touches their soulmate you just know. Davina said that once you touch your soulmate you'll feel sparks, where you came into contact.

She didn't know when it happened, instead of hoping and wishing and fantasizing about her soulmate. Coleena Caster simply feared the day she would meet her soulmate. So she did the only thing she could think of, she built up her own walls. Walls that no one would ever break down. Including her soulmate. Coleena Caster wanted to live a life that was her own to live. She didn't want to be shackled to someone.

Coleena had sworn it to herself to defy the soulmate bond. She would not give in. She would not allow herself to love someone. She would not allow someone to hold her heart, in fear that they would shatter it. She would only be. She never thought that moving to Ashley's home town would ever change that.

Jasper Hale did not have much hope these days. The day he met Alice and Luke in that diner and felt her emotions and heard the story of how his mate was waiting for him, he knew that for the first time in years he felt hope. However over time and moving from location to location he had lost the hope slowly.

Jasper did not think that he would ever end up meeting her. Alice would always assure him as would Lukas and Edward that she was out there. That no matter what Alice's visions would only see Jasper and her laying next to each other, or hugging, other times simply just sitting at a lunch table talking.

Everyone in the Cullen clan would assure him that at some point in time he would meet his mate. His other half. His person. Alice would always describe her as....unusual. Something about her wasn't normal, then again none of the Cullens were normal. The day they all found out that Coleena was a raven haired blue eyed human Rosalie lost it.

Screaming out that it was impossible and Jasper had been quick to agree. Jasper Hale struggled more than any of the Cullens did with controlling his thirst. For his mate to be human it had to be some sick joke. Quick to defend Alice of course was Edward who had the ability to see what Alice was seeing.

Despite Edward assuring that Jasper would be more comfortable than ever in Coleena's presence he had still denied that he was going to talk to her. Rosalie and Jasper were the only Cullens who seemed wary of the idea of Jasper's mate being human. However over their time in Alaska Rosalie came to agree with Alice.

Kate had been the one to knock into Rosalie that Jasper deserved happiness as did all of them. Jasper Hale since finding out about Coleena had come to stay with the Denali's in Alaska. To gain better control of his thirst for his mate. He just had little hope.

Kate and Jasper had bonded the most and seeing and hearing him struggle and argue with his heart and mind, Jasper Hale had broken through her walls and Kate Denali now had a soft spot for the honey blonde vampire. Upon Rosalie agreeing Jasper Hale had still been adamant about staying away.

He would never forgive himself if he ended up hurting her in any way. After Rosalie berating him and pulling him to Forks with them, 3 years later Jasper Hale sat in his room packing a bag hastily. Alice had declared that tomorrow Jasper would be meeting Coleena at their school. The day had arrived but Jasper was ready to delay if for even longer.

"You're leaving." Alice stated from the doorway, he didn't need his gift to tell him how upset the pixie girl was. He could hear it in her voice. "Jasper don't. You have a small window of-"

Jasper wouldn't let her talk him out of it. "Small enough to never meet?" He asked slightly hopeful before Alice had grabbed his hand pulling him harshly down the stairs to the living room. Everyone was around standing and sitting waiting for him. Jasper and Edward were the only ones without mates. Without someone to accept them no matter what.

"Jasper leaving would be a mistake." Edward stated simply. He wouldn't force Jasper to stay, no one could. Jasper's eyes flicked over everyone before landing onto his twin.

"Rose you cannot agree with this!" He hissed out making Rosalie snort out a laugh. He needed someone anyone on his side,to agree with him. However as she opened her mouth to reply it wasn't her who gave him the answer.

"Even Rosalie loves her- Coleena loves Rosalie as well." Alice replied bouncing on her feet with her hands behind her back. This had shocked all of the Cullens aside from Edward and Lukas. Edward having seen it and Lukas being Alice's person.

Alice and Lukas couldn't read thoughts or see into each others minds but they always knew everything. Even without having to be told they already knew. "What did you see?" Jasper asked eager to know what had changed since the last time.

"I've seen her with all of us." Alice replied solemnly before her eyes glazed over slightly. Edwards lipped tugged upwards at what he was seeing. "I guess it doesn't matter." Alice chirped happily before turning towards Rosalie who gave her a look.

"What do you mean?" Carlisle asked to which Edward replied easily.

"Even if Jasper isn't here, Coleena will still become apart of this family." Edward stated and Jasper swore if his heart was still beating it would be beating out of his chest.

"How's that possible?" Esme asked for everyone to which Alice answered this time.

"Rosalie and Coleena's friendship will go beyond Coleena just being Jasper's mate. They will be friends no matter what."

"Why?" Emmett asked genially curious as to how someone could get into his wife's heart so easily.

"We're not sure." Edward answered and Alice nodded.

"It's hard to tell, it has to do with her not being a normal human." Alice supplied before her eyes glazed over once more as Jasper booked it out of the house. Lukas followed after Jasper already having a deeper connection with the man considering him Alice and Lukas were their own coven for two years.

Alice smiled reassuringly to everyone before bounding up the stairs gracefully humming to herself. "Where's Alice going?" Rosalie asked and Edward sighed out.

"She's picking out everyone's outfits." He called but before he could disappear himself Carlisle asked him a question.

"So Jasper will not be leaving us?" Edward shifted through everyone's thoughts, Emmett was excited for a new sister while Rosalie was slightly nervous to see if Coleena and her would really get along. She never liked change, and she didn't like humans. Carlisle was intrigued to know about this human girl who seemed to be not the normal run of the mill while Esme was worried her family would fall apart.

Often Jasper dispelled the tension, helping keep arguments somewhat civil between them all. Jasper was the glue just as they all were. Everything would be out of balance if one of them left. It had been proven when Jasper had left for a few years to better control his thirst. Edward smiled softly towards Esme before nodding.

"Jasper will face this head on. He won't be leaving."

Lukas found Jasper standing atop a tree right by the edge of the treaty line. Jasper didn't need to read minds to know that it was Lukas who had jumped gracefully onto the branch he sat atop. He had recognized the feelings from a mile away.

Jasper had one area where no one knew about for the nights he needed to get away. He would not allow anyone to know about it, so the second he caught Luke's feelings he waited for him to catch up. "I was worried I wouldn't catch you." He mused to which Jasper just stared into the river that made the treaty.

"How are you even okay with all of this?" Jasper asked after a moments of silence. He couldn't wrap his brain around how his family was so accepting of this. Even the Denali's who insisted that when possible Jasper and his mate visit.

"Because Alice says it will be alright."

"Alice has been wrong before." Jasper replied to which Lukas nodded his head, he rubbed his chin before speaking.

"You're right. None of us really know how things will go down, honestly 4 out of the 10 times Alice has seen the outcomes." Lukas paused to briefly look over at his brother. Debating if he should really say it. Feeling his hesitation and worry Jasper finally met Luke's own golden eyes.

"She had denied everything to do with you, and us." Jasper felt his heart sink despite wanting to keep her safe at all times. She would reject him?

"So then why push it?" He asked nervous himself but seeing Luke smile eased his worries slightly.

"Because 6 out of the 10 times you do something right." Luke called and Jasper looked into the running river water once more. "Alice believes that no one, not even us were ever more made for one another. You and Coleena will be just fine."

"In all the possible futures did I ever hurt her?" Jasper hesitantly asked meeting Luke's eyes his smile softened as he patted Jasper's shoulder.

"Not a single time." He assured to which Jasper felt himself fully relax. "Everything will be fine." So with those final words they both went separate ways. Jasper to clear his mind and ponder on tomorrow, while Lukas returned to Alice to assure her their outfits for tomorrow will be wonderful.

"Leena, you'll be late!" Ashley yelled up the stairs making Coleena rush down the stairs. A bag and notebooks floating after her surrounded in a ocean blue light. Ashley looks at her daughter sighing as she rethinks their house choice. "We're in an open area. Must you use your magic?"

Coleena strung the bag over her shoulder letting it slap into her back lightly, a cheeky grin making it's way to her face. "Sorry mom." Ashley rolled her eyes before stepping outside and making her way to her car. She glanced at Coleena's motorcycle a small sense of dread filling her. The roads were wet this morning.

"Be careful." Ashley called and Coleena smiled at her before kick starting it.

"Always!"

This is how mornings usually went. Davina already at the hospital and Coleena and Ashley leaving roughly around the same time, when Ashley wasn't called away to work. Living in a small town like forks she doubted that Ashley would be called in often.

Despite being in just jeans and a long sleeve Coleena rarely felt cold. It was something to do with her magic flowing through her veins and keeping her warm. Even if the wind was whipping her hair around, and making her hands feel as though they are ice due to the wind.

The second she pulled into the parking lot she noticed students standing around talking and she sighed inwardly. Small towns means everything goes around fast, the rumor of her getting kicked out for beating up a kid was sure to go around. If people know it here already? She won't know until she touches someone.

Despite the busted lip and the purple bruise on her cheek bone, she thought she looked pretty okay. Her blue eyes popping as they usually do and her black hair with it's natural curls was down. Did she look okay? The second she parked and cut the engine an Asian boy popped up with a girl with pink rimmed glasses.

They both looked nervous so Coleena shot them a sweet soft smile. Hoping to ease their worries. "Hi. I'm Angela this is Eric, you must be Coleena Caster."

"Just Leena." Coleena said as Angela linked her arm with Coleena's. Upon the touch Coleena's eyes glazed over as Angela's thoughts floated into her brain. The arguement with her parents about pushing college on her and her first meetings with Jessica Mike and Eric. Her crush on Eric flowing through Coleena's head as her heart warmed slightly.

More than anything, Angela's nervous thoughts about Coleena.

What would happen if I called her Coleena? Did she really get arrested? The bruise on her cheekbone is proof something happened. I don't wanna upset her! I think we could be good friends.

"Alright just Leena." Angela teased pulling  Coleena out of focusing on Angela's thoughts and across the parking lot where Coleena made eye contact with a group of other kids. With skin as pale as chalk and eyes a golden color. Vampires. I didn't know Forks had those. One of them looked at her with a small amount of shock to which she smiled kindly before tuning into what Angela and Eric were telling her. Trying to ignore Angela's thoughts.

Coleena wouldn't be rude and tell Angela not to touch her, she could try her best to decipher her own thoughts from Angela's.

The whole school including the Cullens had been nervous for Coleena Caster's arrival. What was she like? Had she really been kicked out of her school for assaulting a boy? Was she really as evil as the rumors they heard? Upon her arrival the Cullens watched as she interacted with Angela. Smiling sweetly and allowing the slightly taller girl to pull her along.

However as they all watched the interaction no one was more intrigued than Jasper. She moved almost gracefully despite being human. Her emotions were more in tune to Jasper and in turn helped him decipher his own emotions, despite being in a parking lot filled with teenagers.

They all noticed the dark purple bruise on her left cheekbone and the cut on the left side of her bottom lip. However when she looked over at them and noticed them all she seemed to pause before sending a sweet smile. Jasper swore if he could blush he would be red.

"She knows." Edward whispered out tensely as her watched Angela pause at her car looking for something.

"Knows?" Luke asked to which Edward looked over at him.

"She knows." He gritted out making Jasper feel his own dread just as much as his own. Everyone had mixed feelings and Jasper felt them all, in fact he knew if Coleena wasn't across the lot and he wasn't feeling her feelings he'd be drowning in them.

"How's that possible?" Rosalie stammered out and everyone looked to Edward before Angela's voice caught their ears. A breeze had just blown causing the girl to shiver slightly.

"Goodness Leena, aren't you cold?" Everyone watched as Coleena shifted onto her feet holding her hands intertwined behind her back.

"Uh- I'm naturally warm blooded, cold doesn't bother me." She stated and Edward huffed out a laugh.

"Of course." He breathed out causing the rest of their family to look over. "She's a witch." He stated making Rosalie tense up. Witches and Vampires while not necessarily enemies, they weren't exactly friends. Some vampires did have witches as mates but it was rare for a witch to have a vampire as a-

"So I'm her soulmate?" Jasper asked incredulously. How was that possible?

"Hell yeah!" Emmett hollered grabbing his bag along with Rosalie's. "What fun this will be!" He called out walking away with Rosalie trailing behind him. Jasper stared across the lot at the girl he now knew the be a witch. Disbelief written across his features.

"So that's why she was not normal." Luke called grabbing Alice's hand as they began walking away. Alice turned round to face Jasper allowing Lukas to lead her up the stairs.

"Don't worry Jas! All will work out!" She called before skipping into step with Lukas. Jasper turned to Edward and before his question could leave his lips Edward answered it.

"Kate will be thrilled. Maybe go over it before bringing her over though." He supplied before following after his siblings.

Im nervous! Ah! This story popped into my head in numerous different ways! Im still uncertain about everything. Will this future be one of the 4 that Alice saw going different? Why will Rosalie and Coleena bond so heavily? Who will meet Coleena first? Why doesn't she like being called by her full name?
