Yuuri woke up the next morning to the smell of burning. He groaned and rolled onto his side. Viktor wasn't there. He was cold. He wanted Viktor to be by his side to keep him warm. Yuuri got up groggily and shuffled off the mattress. The fort that they'd built had held up pretty well overnight.
Yuuri reached over to the coffee table and slid on his glasses. He combed his hair back a few times before letting out a huff. He called out for Viktor and frowned when he didn't get a response.
He slowly made his way to the kitchen once the burning smell got stronger and stopped in his tracks when he saw Viktor sitting at the table with his head in his hands. Yuuri made his way over to him and stood there awkwardly for a few seconds.
"Uh...Viktor?" Yuuri gently poked his shoulder, causing his head to shoot up.
"Ah, uh, Yuuri?" Viktor said with wide eyes and scrambled to his feet. He backed away into the corner and flung his arms out by his side. "Don't come over here!"
"Why? Viktor...what have you done?" Yuuri asked curiously and stood up on his tiptoes to try and peer over Viktor's shoulder. Viktor turned bright red and tried to protest, but Yuuri was having none of it. "Let me see!"
Yuuri looked at Viktor in the eyes before poking his side, causing him to let out a small yelp. He continued to do it until Viktor had slid down onto the floor and was a laughing mess. Yuuri giggled and sat on Viktor's hips as he continued to tickle him until he begged him to stop.
"I didn't know you were ticklish, Viktor." Yuuri giggled and ran a hand through his boyfriend's hair. Viktor wiped a tear away from his eye before beginning to tickle Yuuri back. Yuuri let out a yelp and tried to pry Viktor's hands off him but in the end he just gave up and collapsed on top of him.
Yuuri could feel Viktor's breath on his cheeks and suddenly became aware of how close they actually were. Yuuri was lying on top of the man for Christ sake. Yuuri could feel Viktor's fingers traveling down his back before stopping at the hem of his shirt. Yuuri was pretty sure that his face was on fire, but strangely he didn't mind it and he had no idea why. Viktor slid his hands up Yuuri's back and Yuuri immediately screamed and rolled off him.
"Jesus Christ Viktor, your hands are freezing!" Yuuri yelled and tugged his shirt down.
Viktor giggled and sat up so that he was above Yuuri, who was spread out on the floor. Yuuri huffed before sitting up and staring into Viktor's eyes. Viktor's eyes never failed to amaze him, the colour of them took him back to his childhood when he'd play In the sea on a hot summers day. And they shone so bright. He was hopelessly in love with his eyes. They held so much love in them.
Yuuri was so drawn to Viktor. He'd never felt drawn to someone in this way before, and he had no idea why or what it was. It wasn't like it had happened suddenly, no way. Over the course of the six months they'd been together and even before they'd started dating, Yuuri seemed to start developing this feeling for Viktor. It was a new thing to Yuuri, and he wasn't sure how in hell he was going to figure out what it was. Yuuri had never felt physically or emotional attraction to anyone ever, and for so long he thought that there was something wrong with him, but that changed once he'd gotten to know Viktor. He didn't know how to explain it since he was awful at explaining and expressing his feelings. After spending over half a year with Viktor he'd grown so comfortable around him and accustom to how touchy and clingy he could be at times. Over time, he'd found himself yearning for his touch and his calming words for reassurance, and he didn't know if it was selfish or wrong of him to want all of these things.
Yuuri had been so deep in thought that he hadn't noticed how close their faces were now. He could feel Viktor's hot breath on his face and he could see the slight blush on his cheeks. Yuuri's face heated up even more and he could see Viktor starting to slowly edge closer to him until their lips were nearly touching.
In one swift movement, Yuuri shot up and quickly hopped over Viktor to see what he'd been hiding previously. Viktor didn't have time to register what was happening because he was so damn prepared to kiss Yuuri, he let out a loud whine when he left him.
"Viktor Nikiforov, what the fuck is this?"
Viktor froze up and slowly turned his head to see Yuuri glaring down at him, a plate in his hand. Viktor got up onto his feet and looked away in shame. Yuuri set the plate down and rubbed his head before starting to laugh uncontrollably. He clasped his hand tightly over his mouth to try and stop himself but it didn't help at all. Viktor just stood there in all his shame, watching as his boyfriend laughed himself sick at his attempt at cooking breakfast for both of them.
"I can't cook very well, okay? I wanted to at least try and do something nice for you..." Viktor pouted. He folded his arms across his chest and turned away from Yuuri. Once the younger male had stopped laughing, he spun his boyfriend around and hugged him tightly.
"Viktor, you've given me so much already there's no need for extra things. C'mon, we'll cook breakfast together, I'll teach you." Yuuri smiled up at his coach. Viktor nodded and kissed Yuuri's forehead.
"Thank you, Yuuri." Viktor hugged his boyfriend a little tighter. "You're the best boyfriend ever."
"Although, I'm never going to understand how you managed to burn a hard boiled egg, Viktor."
---
Yuuri ran upstairs to his room and began to change into his training gear. His pyjamas were filthy after trying to teach Viktor how to cook a decent breakfast. Viktor had managed to crack an egg and accidentally spill the bowl over Yuuri as they tried to make an omelette. They managed in the end though, but Yuuri would never come to understand how the hell Viktor managed to live by himself for all of those years with the cooking skills he had.
He threw his pyjamas Into his washing basket and opened his training gear draw. He frantically searched around for his tracksuit but couldn't seem to find them anywhere. He must have washed them yesterday. He cursed at himself and tried to search for a backup. Yuuri didn't think that training in jeans was a good idea so his only option to wear his black leggings. In all his shame, he yanked them on and sighed. Man, it was embarrassing. He hadn't worn these in years, they'd been reserved for emergencies only. He shook it off or at least tried to before changing into his long sleeved blue training top. He threw on his jacket and grabbed his back. He quickly made his way downstairs and outside to where Viktor was waiting.
"Are you ready, my Yuuri?" Viktor chirped. Yuuri nodded and waited for Viktor to get on his bike before jogging up to the the ice rink with him. It didn't take long and they were immediately greeted by Yuko once they arrived.
Once Yuuri and Viktor had put on their skates, they made their way to the rink. Viktor stayed on the side as Yuuri took to the ice to warm up. Viktor made Yuuri promise to practice for only 6 hours, following the doctors orders. Tomorrow then they'd be able to return to their usual hours.
Viktor watched Yuuri closely as he skated around the rink effortlessly and did a few stretches as usual. He looked different today, and Viktor wasn't quite sure why. He shrugged it off after pondering for a few seconds and went back to watching Yuuri. There was something about him that never failed to enthral Viktor.
After a good ten minutes, Yuuri skated over to the side and leaned on it lazily. He sighed and ran a hand through his hair before grabbing the towel and wiping his forehead from the sweat that was clinging to him.
"What are we doing today, Viktor?" Yuuri asked his coach.
"Well, we need to work of the jumps in the second half of your free program so that'll probably be our focus for today." Viktor smiled and booped Yuuri's nose, causing him to blush.
"Okay, shall I run through it firs- oh, hang on, the laces are coming un done." Yuuri skated over to the entrance and left the ice for a minute to adjust his laces.
Viktor looked down and watched the boy as he bent over to tie his laces. Viktor nearly choked on air when he realised that Yuuri was in fact, wearing leggings. And goddamn did his ass look amazing in them. Viktor had to bite down on his hand to stop any absolutely obscene things from coming out of his mouth. He turned away and blushed a deep shade of red, because Yuuri was literally the death of all Innocent thoughts for Viktor.
"V-Viktor? Is there something wrong?" Yuuri asked when he noticed that his coach was turned away from him and seemed to be blushing. Viktor snapped his head to Yuuri's direction and took his hand out of his mouth. Yuuri had the most confused expression plastered over his face and Viktor found it incredibly adorable.
"Ah-Yeah I'm fine..." Viktor ran a hand through his hair and sighed gently. "Change of plan, we'll work on perfecting Eros today"
"Why the sudden change?" Yuuri questioned as he carefully entered the rink and leaned on the wall that was now separating him and Viktor.
"Uh,...No reason at all!" Viktor gave Yuuri a smile and a playful look. "We'll work on your free program tomorrow."
Yuuri narrowed his eyes at Viktor. There was a reason behind it, and Yuuri was positive of that Because Viktor was normally stubborn as hell and wouldn't go back on his word once he'd decided something. Yuuri shook it off and decided to run through it to see what needed working on.
He made his way to the middle and waited till he felt ready to start since they didn't have any music to play yet. He began the routine and made sure to wink at Viktor once he'd thrown his head back. Yuuri was slightly embarrassed, but his job was to seduce Viktor so that's what he was doing.
Viktor meanwhile, could literally not take his eyes off Yuuri. His eyes were glued to his perfect figure and despite Viktor trying to tear his eyes away because this was just fuelling his fantasies more than he could have ever imagined, he was just mesmerised by him. Hell, if Yuuri performed like that in China with that much Eros then Viktor's self control was going to be utterly shattered, even more than it already was.
Yuuri managed to nail the step sequence in the first half of his routine and it was pure seduction for Viktor. The second half went decent, although it became slightly sloppy towards the end and the jumps needed to be executed a bit better, but they had plenty of time today to dedicate to fixing them.
Viktor showered Yuuri with praises as he made it over to the side. Yuuri took a sip of his water and began talking to Viktor about what he needed to improve. They discussed things for a few minutes before Viktor found his way onto the ice and began demonstrating.
Yuuri was in a good mood today, and quickly picked up what Viktor was telling him. He skated alongside Viktor as they practiced the end of the program. Viktor managed to sneak glances of Yuuri a few times, because those leggings looked so good on him. They were perfect and Viktor would be lying if he said that he hadn't looked at his ass a few more times. Viktor felt so ashamed of himself in away but he was honestly just so in love with every part of Yuuri. He was too perfect for him to handle.
They took a break around three hours in, and Yuuri was quite glad because his feet were unbearably sore and he felt so tired. He didn't know why, he wasn't usually like this, especially halfway through practice. It was probably because they'd worked on nothing but jumps, and yes, Yuuri had stamina but after doing jump after jump he became so exhausted, he felt like he was going to pass out.
Maybe it was his body starting to give up on him. He knew only too well that figure skaters were only competitive for a short period of time and that this season might be his last, but he never expected anything like this. Was this going to be the end of his career? Was he going to retire after the Grand Prix Series? He hadn't decided yet, but he could only pray that his body would hold up for at least one more season.
------
The first thing Yuuri did when they got home was collapse onto the sofa and stay there until he'd regained his breath. Training today had been harder that usual, it was either because Yuuri hadn't trained for that long since his accident or because that jumps had been the main focus and they'd absolutely destroyed him.
Yuuri dragged himself up to his bedroom and changed out of his training gear and into some casual clothes. He slowly shuffled down the stairs to see Makkachin waiting for him at the bottom, wagging his tail happily. Yuuri petted him before making his way to the living room to find Viktor sitting in his usual spot and scrolling through social media.
Makkachin immediately bounded in front of Yuuri and spread himself across the rest of the sofa. Yuuri let out a groan. Viktor looked up from his phone to see his boyfriend looking unamused at his beloved dog. He giggled to himself before patting his lap.
"C'mon, sit here, Yuuri." Viktor offered and immediately caused a blush to spread across Yuuri's face like wildfire. He mumbled something before turning around and sitting on his lover's lap. He leaned back and Viktor immediately wrapped his arms around Yuuri's torso and pulled him closer.
"You're- you're warm..." Yuuri mumbled. Viktor hummed in response and pressed his lips to Yuuri's cheek. Yuuri curled up on Viktor's lap and adjusted himself so that his head was resting on Viktor's shoulder. Viktor cradled his boy in his arms and looked down at him with so much love in his eyes. This was perfect. He wanted everything to freeze for a few minutes because holding Yuuri in his arms like this was heaven to Viktor. It just felt so right. He felt so loved for the first time in his life.
Viktor could feel Yuuri's breath on his neck and it Sent shivers down his spine. He looked down at Yuuri who was quietly asleep in his arms. Viktor set down his phone and leaned his head on Yuuri's and closed his eyes. This was almost too perfect to be true. Viktor also feel asleep, his boyfriend in his arms and a massive smile on his face.
Around an hour and a half later, Minako entered the Katsuki household, in search for some banter and alcohol. She was surprised to find it deadly silent and there wasn't any sign of anyone. She huffed before looking in every room for at least someone. She had the shock of her life when she slid the living room door open to find Yuuri and Viktor sleeping in each other's arms.
"Oh my god." Minako whispered and stared at them with wide eyes. She clasped a hand over her mouth to stop herself from screaming because damn they looked adorable together. She didn't know what to do, because they seemed to be home alone and she wanted to know where everyone was but she didn't want to disturb them.
She quietly backed out of the room and slid the door shut. She made her way over to one of the tables and sat down. She was 100% certain that there was something more going on between them than just their student and coach relationship, and she couldn't help but feel extremely happy for Yuuri. She smiled to herself. The change that Yuuri'd gone through over the past months that Viktor had been by his side had been astounding. She never thought she's see the day when Yuuri felt comfortable in his own skin and happy with his skating. His confidence had grown so much, and Minako was extremely grateful that Viktor had helped Yuuri believe in himself for the first time. They still had a long road ahead, but she was thankful nevertheless.
Around 20 minutes later, Yuuri woke up with a small groan. He'd been sleeping peacefully until he'd felt something tickle the tip of his nose. He opened his eyes, only to be met with strands of silver hair dangling across his face. He could feel Viktor's head resting on his and reached up to brush his boyfriend's hair out of his face. He turned ever so slightly so that he could see Viktor's face. He reached over to his phone and checked the time. Yuuri widened his eyes when he saw that it was 6:47.
He put the phone down and turned his attention back to his boyfriend, who was still sleeping soundly with his arms wrapped around him. He booped his nose in the hope to wake him up, but of course, he was a concerningly deep sleeper. Yuuri huffed and tried to poke him in the ribs instead. Viktor shot his eyes open and began prying Yuuri's hands off him once he realised what he was doing. Viktor looked down at Yuuri and smiled. He looked adorable, his cheeks red and his hair slightly messy.
"Do I get a wake-up kiss?" Viktor asked while stretching out his legs and looked at Yuuri with hopeful eyes. His voice was low and husky and Yuuri secretly loved it.
"Hmm, I don't really feel like it since you take so much effort to wake up." Yuuri ran his hand through Viktor's hair and giggled when Viktor let out a whine and tried to protest. "C'mon, get up lazybones."
"But I want you to cuddle with meeee!" Viktor whined and stuck his bottom lip out. Yuuri rolled his eyes and shook his head.
"We can do it after, I promise. We need to make food now anyway..." Yuuri trailed off. Viktor let out another whine and sat up. "What would you like to eat?"
"You, my love." Viktor replied with a shit-eating grin. Yuuri's face started to heat up in embarrassment and he left the room to try and get himself together, only to be met with Minako.
Yuuri hid his face in his hands and tried to calm himself down while Minako stared blankly at him.
"Is there something wrong, Yuuri?" She asked him in confusion.
"Ah-no! Everything's fine!" He fumbled about. He took a deep breath and adjusted his glasses. "I-If you don't mind me asking, why are you here?"
"Oh, don't worry it's nothing important. By the way, is your mother here?" Minako asked.
"Oh, no sorry, my family's gone to visit my grandparents, so it's only me and Viktor for a few days..." Yuuri trailed off and felt himself blush a little.
"You and Viktor? Alone?" Minako stared at him and raised an eyebrow. Yuuri stuttered around and became a flustered mess alarmingly quickly. Minako laughed it off and reassured him that she was just fooling around. "Well then, I better leave you two to it. See you soon!"
Yuuri waved at her before she left the house. He let out a sigh before making his way to the kitchen. He was surprisingly hungry, it had been a good few hours since he'd last eaten though so he couldn't really blame himself. He found some pasta and sauce in the cupboard and two chicken breasts in the fridge. It wasn't a fabulous meal but they didn't have much food in the house so he was making the most of what he could find.
He was in the middle of slicing the chicken when he felt two arms wrap around his waist. He jumped slightly but relaxed when he realised it was only Viktor and set the knife down. He turned around and hugged Viktor back.
"What are you cooking?" Viktor asked Yuuri as he looked over his head to see.
"Just some pasta and chicken, I'm sorry it's not much we don't have much food s-"
"Yuuri, I'm sure it'll be delicious, there's no need to worry." Viktor reassured him. Yuuri thanked him and went back to cooking while Viktor watched him closely. "Can I help you with anything?"
"After how your attempted breakfast went, I'm not sure that's a good idea." Yuuri laughed. He looked behind him at Viktor who looked really offended and stuck his bottom lip out.
"I'm not that bad! I can cook pasta, I promise you!" Viktor threw his arms up in the air.
He made his way over to the pasta that was simmering in the pan and grabbed a spoon to stir it. He made sure it was soft before looking in the cupboard beneath the sink for a strainer and put the pasta in it. He separated it into the two bowls that Yuuri had set out for him before pouring some sauce over it as Yuuri finished off frying the chicken and putting it on top of the pasta. They both sat down and smiled at each other.
"We make a good team, don't we?" Viktor chuckled as he took a bite of the food. His eyes lit up and he smiled at Yuuri. "You'd make a great husband one day."
Yuuri's heart leaped out of his chest at Viktor's words and he nearly dropped the fork that he was holding. He hesitantly looked up at Viktor because of how flustered he'd become and blushed even deeper when he saw the smile of Viktor's face.
"W-what?" Yuuri stuttered, trying to keep himself together because he had no idea what to do with himself.
"Oh, nothing, my love." Viktor smirked before leaning across the table and placing a kiss on Yuuri's nose, making the younger male even more flustered.
Yuuri just buried his face into his hands, because somehow Viktor never failed to reduce Yuuri to a flustered mess. Yuuri got himself together (or at least tried to) before continuing to eat his meal.
Once they'd finished, Viktor grabbed both bowls and the cutlery and washed them in the sink. He set them to dry after he'd finished and then turned to Yuuri.
"I'm taking makka for a walk, d'you wanna come?" He asked his boyfriend.
"Yeah sure, just let me change into something more decent first." He replied and made his way upstairs.
Viktor quickly dashed into the bathroom and scrambled around the wash basket, trying to find Yuuri's tracksuit. He knew he probably shouldn't have, but he really wanted to see Yuuri in leggings again so he was going to hide his tracksuit under his bed, at least until the cup of China which was just over a week away. He finally found them and sprinted into his room and chucked them under the bed. Boy, was he looking forward to tomorrow's training session.
Yuuri came downstairs wearing his skinny jeans and a knitted jumper, and Viktor was sure if cuteness could kill, he'd be Deceased right now because damn. Viktor couldn't take his eyes off him and he couldn't help but bush at him. Yuuri Katsuki was nothing short than an absolute blessing to Viktor.
Viktor called for Makkachin and shuffled over to Yuuri and took his hand in his. He smiled down at him with an obvious blush on his face. Makkachin came bounding into the hallway and bounced around excitedly. Makkachin was a very well trained dog and Viktor trusted him so they never needed to put a lead on him. They left the house and Yuuri made sure to lock the door before they left.
They walked around for a good half an hour, laughing and smiling at each other as they made small talk. Makkachin occasionally barked at the odd passing car, and often ran around their legs, causing them to nearly trip over him a few times. In the end, they decided to Visit the park that they'd been to a few times previously. It was nearly dark and the whole place felt quite eerie to Yuuri. He would have literally shat himself if there'd been no street lamps illuminating the place and if Viktor wasn't by his side.
Makkachin was happy enough just sniffing around the new area since he'd never been at this park before, and left Viktor and Yuuri to have some time to themselves.
"You know, you look really cute in knitted jumpers and cardigans." Viktor complimented Yuuri as they climbed up onto the playing frame. Yuuri was always amazed at Viktor's bluntness and straightforwardness, and it never failed to make him a flustered mess.
"I-I don't." Yuuri protested as he blushed and chewed on the sleeve of his jumper. They made it across the little wooden bridge and came to the slide.
"I really would kiss you right now, but my priorities are getting down that slide safely because we're too big for this damn play area. C'mon, let's go down together." Viktor said and sat down with his arms around Yuuri, who was in front of him and probably going to get squashed if they ended up falling.
Romantic as ever, Yuuri thought to himself and giggled. Yuuri scooted forward a bit and dragged Viktor with him.
Yuuri braced himself as they slowly slid down the slide and ended up getting stuck (again) because it was so small. Viktor whined and Yuuri had to scoot the rest of the way down. He got up once they'd reached the bottom and looked at Viktor who looked really sad because he was stuck halfway down. Yuuri quickly pulled out his phone and took a picture of his moody boyfriend before putting it back into his pocket.
"Viktor, lets go on the swings!" Yuuri exclaimed before skipping over to them and sitting down on one. Viktor let out a sigh and scooted down the rest of the side before going to sit on the swing next to Yuuri's.
"You know, I thought that children's slides would be big enough to handle my ass, I guess I was wrong." Viktor huffed. Yuuri snorted and had to cover his mouth to stop himself from laughing more. "You're enjoying this, aren't you?"
Yuuri nodded as he laughed even harder because never in all of the years that he'd idolised him for did Yuuri imagine that Viktor Nikiforov would be upset over not being able to fit down a kids slide.
Once Yuuri had calmed down, he looked over at Viktor and gave him a genuine smile. He'd never felt this happy in so many years. Viktor was pretty sure that his heart melted because he'd hardly seen Yuuri smile as genuinely as this before, and he wanted to protect him. He was illegally adorable, he was like a drug to Viktor. Damn, he really wanted to kiss him again.
It began to peck with rain suddenly and it quickly turned into a full blown shower of rain. Yuuri gasped because of the sudden coldness and in a matter of seconds he was nearly soaking because he didn't have a coat. Without thinking twice, he rushed over to Viktor who was on the other swing and sat on his lap. The older make pulled his coat off and put it over both of their heads to shelter them from the rain.
Yuuri wiped his glasses of the raindrops that covered them and slicked his hair back because it was soaking. His hair looked like it did for competitions, and Viktor had seen it a few times, but this was one of the first times he'd properly appreciated Yuuri with his hair slicked back while he wore his glasses. It was such a look, and Viktor found it indescribably adorable.
"You know, this is incredibly cliche, but I really want to kiss you." Viktor spoke suddenly, taking Yuuri by surprise. "Can I?"
Yuuri smiled before nodding at Viktor's request. It was such a cliche moment, kissing in the rain, but they enjoyed it nevertheless. Viktor loved how soft and warm Yuuri's lips were and Yuuri adored the warmness and the lingering mint taste on Viktor's lips. It only lasted a few seconds, but that was enough for both of them.
Makkachin came running towards them, and immediately tried to jump up on Yuuri, soaking him even more than he was before. Makkachin tried to shake himself of all the water and dirt but he kept getting wetter due to the pouring rain.
"Silly dog, there's no point in doing that." Viktor patted him and decided that it was best that they headed home to make sure that neither of them caught a cold in time for the Cup of China. They walked home quickly with Viktor's coat over their heads and their hands intertwined.
They were absolutely dripping wet by the time they got into Yuuri's house, and they immediately pulled their wet clothes off to dry them in the tumble dryer. Yuuri hesitantly removed his shirt, because Viktor was by him in nothing but his underwear and it was agonisingly difficult for Yuuri to keep his eyes off his perfectly sculpted body. Yuuri felt incredibly self conscious though because he was just so average compared to Viktor. Viktor was like a god to Yuuri, and he was so much better in every field (maybe not cooking though) and Yuuri was jealous of that.
Yuuri took a deep breath before removing his trousers and he quickly headed for the room that the tumble dryer was in. He shoved his clothes into the machine before Yuuri turned back around and left the room. Why was he so flustered after seeing Viktor like that? Hell, he'd seen him completely naked a few times when they went in the onsen together and despite being extremely flustered then, it was nothing compared to now. Maybe it was because of the fact that they were so close to each other while nearly completely naked. Yuuri didn't know, he didn't want to know either.
He turned the corner and felt himself slam Into Viktor accidentally, but was luckily saved from falling by Viktor's strong arm that wrapped around his waist. He apologised before running up to his room and searching for his dog pyjamas that he hadn't worn in around a year. He was in the mood to wear them now for some reason, and was disappointed when he failed to find them. He slipped on his other pyjamas which had little flowers over the trousers and a plain blue shirt.
Yuuri made his way down to Viktor's room and immediately gasped when he saw that he was In fact, wearing his dog pyjamas. Yuuri couldn't seem to get any words out of his mouth. This wasn't the only time Viktor had left him speechless either. He nearly constantly did. Not in a month of Sundays did he expect to find Viktor wearing his clothes though. How did he even find them? Why did he look so damn adorable in them?
"Haha, sorry for stealing your pyjamas, my love. They were just too adorable not to. You can have them back if you want to..." Viktor laughed as he climbed into bed.
"O-oh no it's fine, y-you can keep them for as long as you want to..." Yuuri blushed. This man would be the death of him. Viktor was too much for Yuuri to handle sometimes.
"D'you want to sleep in with me tonight?" Viktor offered Yuuri and patted the bed.
Yuuri nodded and climbed in next to Viktor and curled up by his side. Viktor was surprisingly cold, but he knew that he'd warm up soon enough. Yuuri put his head on his boyfriend's chest so that he could listen to his heartbeat as he fell asleep. Yuuri looked up at Viktor and gave him a goodnight kiss on the cheek before the older male wrapped his arms around Yuuri.
Yuuri smiled to himself because he was just so lucky and happy. Viktor smiled to himself because he'd never felt so loved or happy in his entire life, and it was all thanks to Yuuri. They'd both found themselves in each other and they were unexplainably thankful. Viktor, for the first time in his life felt like he belonged somewhere, and that somewhere was with Yuuri. He was so happy that he'd found his L words through Yuuri, and didn't know how he was going to ever thank him enough.
"Please, please, don't ever leave me, Yuuri."
