C.J.H || Movie Night Madness

"So you hate me?" she spoke with her hand crossed over her chest.

"I just said I don't find a point in watching a horror movie when you will one hundred percent be scared," Jongho laughed as he walked to the kitchen, but it did not seem funny to Kami.

"How is that any different!" Kami argued as she followed the man while rolling her eyes.

"I have scars to prove the difference," Jongho replied as he filled up a water cup with one hand as his other was raised in front of her showing a scar. "You freaked out last time and scratched me while you were at it."

"Alright, still," Kami sighed, "that's the point of horror movies, the adrenaline rush!" Jongho looked at her sideways as he chugged down his water. He put the cup down after he swallowed it all.

"I don't get why watching Heroine Disqualified again seems so bad to you?" Jongho questioned.

"Because she ends up with that ass!" Kami yells back immediately. "Besides, we watched it 4 times in less than 2 months, I physically can't handle seeing Hiromitsu being dumped on his birthday again!"

"Fair point, but still doesn't justify why you want to watch Midsomer," Jongho reasoned as he filled the glass with water again.

"Because lots of people talk about how it messes with your morals-thank you-" Kami took the glass of water handed to her before continuing, "and it isn't a typical dark horror with jumpscares, so it must be worth the hype."

"Hmm," Jongho considered as he leaned against the fridge while Kami drank her water, "so you won't freak out mid-movie?" Kami choked on her water as she snorted.

"You make it sound like I do it every time, I only did it when Charlie's head was smashed against the telegraph pole!"

"And when Mario died in the shower," Jongho reminded.

"Y-yeah, that too, but it's just that-"

"And when Jack ran after Wendy with an axe," he added.

"Alright! Alright, I get it. But come on, aren't you curious about Midsomer? Everyone talked about it, even Wooyoung watched it!" Kami tried to bait the man as she put her cup in the sink.

"I am not interested in cults in anyway, shape, or form," Jongho replied as he walked out of the kitchen with her following him.

"But you can't deny it's interesting! Besides William Jackson Harper acts in it,"Kami said.

"Whose that?" Jongho asked as he sat on the couch. Kami sighed and rolled her eyes as she plopped beside him.

"Chidi Anagonye from The Good Place!" she said the name of the character from one of Jongho's favorite shows.

"Are you serious?" Jongho suddenly picked interest.

     "Yes!" Kami replied enthusiastically.

"Alright, I'm sold, let's watch it," Jongho finally agreed, and it made Kami jump in her seat as she hugged him.

     "Thank you!" she hollered.

"Ok, ok," Jongho jokingly rolled his eyes before a smile took over his features.

"I swear you won't regret it!" Kami swore.

"Alright, I hope you don't either," Jongho replied as they both moved around to find a comfortable way of sitting before they turned on the movie.

•♡•♡•♡•

"There, there," Jongho patted the woman's back who was sat with her face to the toilet bowl as she emptied out her intestines. She felt another wave of chyme rising up her already sore throat before she pushed it all out without even giving herself a chance to catch her breath.

Jongho was currently fighting every urge in his body not to tell her I told you so, but it seemed harder than it should be.

"Let it all out," he spoke almost humorously as he pulled her hair away from where he was sitting at the edge of the tub. Kami stopped for a while to breathe deeply. "Are you don-" she continued, "there you go. You should be grateful I don't get nauseous from this, if it was your brother, you both would be puking together," he joked and if Kami wasn't heaving her soul out, maybe she would've laughed

"I'll get you some water," Jongho announced as he stood up and left to the kitchen. When he got back, Kami has her back against the wall as she hugged her knees while sitting with her head looking up. He plopped down beside her.

"Here you go." He offered her the cup, and she took it with a nod of acknowledgement. "That's why you shouldn't watch horror movies," he finally blurted out, and she shot him a glare before putting her cup down.

"How was I supposed to know that $%#:@!*$@%#$" Kami hissed, and at the memory of the scene, she immediately turned her head to the toilet bowl and heaved out another round. Jongho began to worry more.

"Hey, alright, calm down now, it's just a movie, it's all fake, no one died," he comforted her as his hands squeezed her shoulders gently.

"I-I know," she let out hoarsely, "but it looked so real!" Tears were streaming down her face at this point from the pain of the contractions brewing in her empty stomach.

"But it isn't, don't let it get to you." He handed her a tissue. She wiped her face and turned to him. "Oh look, you have freckles now," he joked.

"My blood vessels popped and you find it funny," she grumply joked before drinking the rest of her cup of water, when she placed it down, Jongho pulled her into a hug with one arm as his other formed a fist that drilled into her head playfully. Kami groaned.

"Come on, let's just go to sleep," he stated as he pulled her up with him, making sure she was stable as he did so.

"No!" she whined, "it's movie night, we barely even watched half of Midsomer!"

"Do you, want to go back and finish it?" Jongho asked hesitantly as he picked up the glass from the floor.

"No, of course not!" Kami countered immediately.

     "Then what?" Jongho asked.

"Let's rewatch Herione Disqualified," she shrugged as she walked out leaving Jongho with his mouth hanging open.

"Yah! You never listen to me" he caught up with her only to see her laughing as she walked back to the living room, "You're laughing, girl?"

"Yes, I am," she turned to him and stuck her tongue before sprinting away as he ran after her.

     "Ungrateful brat!" Jongho yelled.

"Stop talking like my mom!" Kami let out between laughter as she dodged a pillow he threw at her.

"Is that an insult?" He asked as he stopped in front of the table where she was on the other side. They were both stuck in a loop, if he runs from one side, she runs in the opposite direction, it was endless.

"Do you not like my mom?" Kami asked back as she laughed.

"I don't like you," he replied before unexpectedly running towards her, and before she could even run away, he had his arms wrapped around her body from behind.

"Let me go!" Kami yelled as she tried to at least pry her arms out of his grip but to no avail.

"Alright," Jongho quickly agreed which was way too off, he raised her body up as he walked to the couch before he threw her on it and jumped over her tickling her till tears streamed down her face.

"J-Jongho stop I can't breathe!" Kami let out as she tried to push him away.

"You said you wanted something to change your mood," he argued back as he mercilessly poked the sides of her stomach, "is this not enough?"

Kami's laughs were turning into helpless wails as she ran out if breath, "I swear I'm gonna puke all over you!" she threatened, and he finally gave her a break. He stood up and sat beside her as she evened out her ragged breath.

"So you don't like me, huh?" Kami mocked as she sat up.

"Yes," Jongho replied confidently as he tried to switch to the other movie for them to watch.

"Fox you," she muttered dramatically as she fell back on the couch. Jongho dramatically fell beside her.

"Fox you, too, babe," he pecked her cheek, and a proud smile decorated her face before she wiped it away and rolled her eyes keeping up with her act.

"Get off me," she pushed him as she wiggled away from him only for him to hold her back with an embrace.

"Are you playing hard to get?" Jongho mocked.

"Yes, how did you know?" Kami replied with a geniune laugh.

"I love you," Jongho finally said it and Kami had satisfaction written all over her face as she smuggled before turning her body to face his

"I love you, too," she replied before pecking his cheek.

     "Your breath smells like vomit..."

     "Choi Jongho!"
