Seongjoong: A Movie Night Confession: Part One ( A, F )
Plot: The six members know the feelings that the two eldest have for each other. So, they come up with a plan to get their hyungs to confess to each other.
"Woo hoo! It's movie night!" yelled Wooyoung.
"Quiet down, Wooyoung," said Yeosang. "You're going to wake Hongjoong up if you're not careful." Hongjoong, as usual, had stayed up way too late the night before on his computer, so he decided to take a nap before the movie started so he wouldn't fall asleep during it.
Jongho called from the kitchen, "Hey guys, do you want some apples when we watch the movie? I just broke about twenty of them."
"I don't know about you guys," said Mingi, bounding into the room, "but I'm just about sick of apples."
"Yeah, I am, too," agreed San. "After all, in the past week, we've eaten apple pie, applesauce, tarts, strudel, turnovers, fritters, and muffins from all of the apples that Jongho broke."
"See what I mean?" exclaimed Mingi. "It's time for something different around here."
Yeosang walked into the kitchen to see Jongho looking sad and kind of embarrassed. Jongho turned around and said,"I'm sorry, Yeosang. Make sure to tell the others I said so. From now on, I promise not to break as many apples."
"Aw, it's ok, baby," Yeosang assured his crush, wrapping him in a warm embrace. "I know that's your special talent, so you don't have to stop entirely. Just maybe limit the number, ok?" Jongho nodded and hugged his friend back. "I think Seonghwa will be glad to hear that. Recently, he's just about killed himself trying to cook all those apples into food," Yeosang joked.
"Did I hear someone say my name?" Seonghwa asked, walking into the kitchen, ready to start cooking the latest batch of apples.
"Yes, you did," Yeosang replied, but Seonghwa just ignored him.
"So, what kind of apple delicacy do you guys want tonight?" Seonghwa questioned, pulling on an apron. "I was thinking-"
Jongho cut in,"Seonghwa, I've decided that I won't be breaking as many apples anymore. I assume that's good news?"
A relieved smile spread across Seonghwa's face. "I'm glad to hear that. I was starting to run out of ideas of what to do with all those apples. Plus, I've been getting really tired from all this cooking."
Suddenly, Yunho burst into the room. "Guys, I'm starving! What's for dinner? Wait, please don't say more apples!" he groaned.
"No, from now on, there won't be any more apples!" Jongho shouted, so the others could hear him. The dorm then echoed with cheers of joy.
"Yay!" exclaimed Yunho. "But still, what's for dinner?"
"I'll go order pizza," said Yeosang. "Jongho and Yunho, you go help the others pick out a movie. And Seonghwa, go wake up Hongjoong, please."
As they all exited the room, Yeosang turned around and winked at Jongho and Yunho, who did the same. Today was the day their plan to get Seonghwa and Hongjoong together would happen.
(Flashback)
"Yeosang? Why'd you call us in here?" exclaimed Wooyoung, running into the living room. The other four followed, curious.
"Because we need to talk about something,'' Yeosang explained.
"Oh no, what did I do now?" Mingi asked, worried.
"It's nothing you did, at least not this time," Yeosang replied. "The reason I called you all in here is because we need to talk about our two eldest hyungs-"
"Oh, I know what you're meaning," interrupted San.
"You mean their obvious feelings toward each other, right?" Yunho asked.
"Oh, ok, good. So, I take it you guys have all noticed, then?" questioned Yeosang.
"Yes," they all replied.
"How could we not?" added Mingi.
"Well, I had an idea about how we could get them together. So, here's what we'll do..."
As Seonghwa walked to Hongjoong's room to wake him up for movie night, he couldn't help but to feel slightly nervous. Over the past few weeks, Seonghwa has developed feelings for his best friend. But he doesn't think Hongjoong has the same feelings for him in return. So, wanting to avoid the possible loss of his friend, he hasn't told Hongjoong about his feelings.
Seonghwa has been having a hard time acting normally around Hongjoong for understandable reasons. Thankfully, he hasn't noticed, as far as Seonghwa can tell. Once he got to Hongjoong's room, Seonghwa cautiously opened the door. "Hey, Hongjoong, it's time to wake up," Seonghwa said, making his way over to his deeply sleeping friend.
"Aw, he looks so cute!" Seonghwa thought, mentally cooing at the sight of his best friend fast asleep. He wasn't wrong, though. Hongjoong's bold red hair was draping over his eyes and forehead, framing his adorable, round face perfectly. His tiny nose was scrunched up, and so were his eyes. And Hongjoong's lips were in an irresistible pout. Seonghwa had to resist the urge to kiss those inviting lips, however.
Suddenly, Hongjoong stirred. "Huh?" he mumbled, coming out of a very deep sleep.
"It's time for movie night," Seonghwa said, going over to Hongjoong's bed and sitting down.
"Oh right! I almost forgot," Hongjoong replied, giggling.
At this, Seonghwa had to practically restrain himself from tackling his best friend with cuddles and kisses. "Why is he so cute?" Seonghwa asked himself. Then again, some things can never be explained.
"Seonghwa?" Hongjoong asked, snapping him out of his thoughts. "What are you thinking about?"
"Oh, nothing. Well, I'm going to go see whether Yeosang got the pizza yet." Seonghwa got off the bed and dashed out of the room, leaving Hongjoong behind in confusion.
Why has his best friend been acting like this recently? Hongjoong just didn't understand. A few weeks ago, he and Seonghwa had been spending lots of time together. But all of a sudden, Hongjoong's best friend had started avoiding him. And he had no idea why. Wait, maybe...
"No, there's no way," Hongjoong thought. "But what if maybe that's why he's been avoiding me?"
Hongjoong had developed an intense crush on Seonghwa recently. And he was really hoping that was why Seonghwa was acting the way he was, because he had feelings for him in return.
Hongjoong's thoughts were interrupted, however, by a loud yell from the next room. "Joongie-hyung! The pizza's here," Wooyoung shouted. Hongjoong sighed, but walked out of his bedroom, dreading the next interaction with Seonghwa...

Question: What is your favorite Ateez song?
Answer: Wave is my favorite! It's the first song I listened to of theirs that I liked. (The first song I heard was Answer, but for some reason at first, I didn't like it. Next, I tried Wave, then when I heard Wonderland, I knew I was hooked... Now, I'm an Atiny for life)!
Make sure to leave a comment with what your favorite Ateez song is! And any feedback on my one shot will be deeply appreciated.
Until Next Time... Anneyong! (I think that's goodbye in Korean, lol)!
