Minhwa

Mingi knew he was whipped whipped for Seonghwa. He didn't try to hide it, he made it perfectly clear to the older.

The taller would be always flirting with Seonghwa, complimenting everything he did. Taking care of him when he was tired by making him tea and food.

But the flirting and everything wasn't one sided.

Seonghwa knew he was head over heels for the younger, but he thought the other was only joking when he said he liked him. And that the kind gestures he had with him were only because he was his hyung. All of the other members were as attentive as Mingi between everyone, so he didn't take it as anything special.

Mingi's eyes always followed Seonghwa's every movement, and lately, he started to notice some changes in his behavior.

The older would go straight to his bedroom after practice, he would eat there too, and would only talk to anyone if it was extremely necessary.

The red haired tried to talk about this with the rest but they just said that maybe Seonghwa was just tired because of the comeback they just had. But Mingi knew the oldee better than that.

One night, after everyone was already asleep, Mingi made his way towards Seonghwa's room. He really wanted to talk to him in private, and try and help him with whatever he was going through.

Seonghwa hadn't been himself lately. He didn't know when it started, but one day, after they came back from performing, Seonghwa just felt like he couldn't breathe. Some weird feeling was making it's way all over his body, making him shake with fear, unknown to what.

His head was spinning, his mouth dry and the constant feeling of wanting to cry ever present in his chest.

It happened many times after that, he searched the symptoms on Google, and realized he had been experiencing panic attacks. But even after knowing what he had, he didn't get any better. Seonghwa knew it would be better if he reached out for help, maybe one of the members or his family. But he was afraid no one would take it seriously or that no one would understand.

Mental health problems are not something that's actually acknowledged in the society he lives in. So it wasn't easy for someone to get through it.

Sometimes he would wake up feeling better, like the numbness he felt the night before was only a dream. That the constricting pain was an illusion of his mind.

But sometimes it felt like he was suffocating. He did a good job at hiding his feelings, none of the other members had realized something was going on with him, so he felt relieved that he didn't have to explain whatever he was feeling.

Everyday after practice he would go straight to his bedroom and he would lock himself there until dinner, trying to talk with anyone as little as possible.

Nights were the worst. All his fears and sadness would come and haunt him at the late hours of the night, forcing the boy to cry himself to sleep, leaving traces of the heavy tears his heart couldn't handle all over his cheeks and pillows.

Seonghwa desperately needed for someone to notice, he didn't want to be the one looking for comfort. He had mixed feelings about everything, his mind was a mess.

On one of his many sleepless nights, he felt all his emotions coming at him a hundred times worse. Seonghwa couldn't find in his mind what had triggered the attacks and he was getting weaker and weaker as the days passed.

He heard a door opening and he held his sobs as the steps resonated in the hallway, hoping that whoever it was hadn't heard him crying.

But the luck wasn't on his side.

Someone slowly knocked on the door, and before he could say anything it was opened.

A mop of red hair could be seen thanks to his window being open which let the moonlight into his room.

Seonghwa didn't say anything, neither did Mingi.

But they both knew what was happening.

Without saying anything, the younger closed the door and made his way towards the older's bed. He sat timidly next to him, not trying to touch him in any way, which made Seonghwa thankful. He had read many times that when someone was having a panic or anxiety attack it made it worse if people tried to touch you without permission. And Mingi seamed to know this.

"Hwa, hey. What's wrong?" the taller asked, his eyes full of worry.

"I-i don't know" his sobs made his whole body tremble as he hugged his blanket closer to his chest.

"Can I..."

"Please" the younger immediately got into bed next to Seonghwa and held him as close as he could to his chest.

The black haired guy hugged Mingi's torso while he buried his head in the crook of his neck, causing shivers to run all over the rapper's body.

They stayed like that for almost an hour. Mingi trying to calm his heart down at the contact of their bodies.

He just let the other cry. Making sure the older let everything out before he could ask him anything.

A few more minutes passed and they were pressed closer than ever, their legs entangled while Mingi ran his hands all over Seonghwa's back in a comforting way.

"I'm s-sorry I'm such a mess" the singer spoke between deep breaths.

"There's nothing to apologise for, Hwa" Mingi moved so they were both laying on their sides so they could look properly at each other. "I know what you're going through, I can see the pain in your eyes. I don't know if anyone else noticed, but I sure did. What's going on, baby?"

"I-i really don't know" the boy took a deep breath before continuing. "I just started to feel really overwhelmed one day, and then I felt suffocated and scared and my heart felt like it was going to explode. My mind is a mess, I don't understand what triggered anything that's been happening to me. I was feeling good one day, and then this happened. I saw in Internet that this is clearly a panic attack. But I don't know what to do to get better. I just want it to end" his last words were cut as more sobs wrecked through his body.

Mingi waited for him to calm down again before gently drying the tears on the older's face.

"I know it's not comfort to hear people say that it will get better. I know that you feel like you're never going to get out of this, that this might be what your life is gonna end up feeling like. But I can assure you that you would recover from this. It won't happen in a day, and it would not be easy. Telling me how you feel, and showing that you're not okay. But more important, acknowledging it for yourself, is the first step on getting better."

"You don't have to feel ashamed of what's happening to you. It's normal, you have a lot in your mind and stress is catching up on you. After everything that happened to you last year with your injuries and such, you didn't let your mind process any of it. You need to let your emotions out, you know you can talk to me about anything, Hwa. I will always be here to listen to you and support you, forever. If you want to go to therapy, or if you want to seek any other means of help, I will be there for you. It's gonna take time, but with effort and the will to do it, you'll get better."

Seonghwa was speechless. He never thought Mingi cared that much, everything that the other said was already helping him so much in easing his mind.

"Thank you, Min" he looked deeply into the younger's eyes, feeling more in love than ever.

Mingi just hugged him and pressed a soft kiss on his forehead.

They just held each other for several more minutes, but Seonghwa couldn't take it anymore.

He lifted his head from where it was laying on Mingi's shoulder and before the taller could react or ask him what was happening. He grabbed Mingi's head between his hands and pressed their lips together in a gentle kiss.

It wasn't long before Seonghwa parted their mouths after doing that. He kept his eyes shut not wanting to see the other's reaction.

But not even ten seconds passed before Mingi snapped out of his shocked state and reached for Seonghwa's lips with his own.

Seonghwa was shocked, but he let the other deepen the kiss. Both boys desperate to taste the other, to show each other how much they wanted it.

Mingi grabbed Seonghwa by his his and rolled them over so the older was seating straddling his lap. The kiss was slow and full of passion, making every little feeling they had being shown.

It wasn't until they felt unable to properly breath that they parted. Not putting much distance between their bodies.

Both boys looking at each other with the biggest smiles on their faces, hugged tightly.

"I love you" the singer whispered into Mingi's ear.

"I love you too, Hwa. So much, and I promise you that I will help you overcome this" Mingi said while wrapping his arms around the boy's waist. "You're not alone."

OKAY! A long time has passed since I updated. I'm sorry it took so long, I don't have any excuse other than me being lazy and a ceo on procrastinating.

I hope you like this!

I also wanted to say that I wrote practically three different chapters for Desert King but I can't get the ideas the I have right so it might take me some time to update that history. Not much, I hope.

Please stay safe guys! The first cases of the virus just were confirmed in my country and it's scary but I hope it doesn't get serious.

Thank you for reading 💜
