16. Marriage Guest: Demon

Hello! This is a one shot for my fic 'The Seamster and The Demon'! Huge thanks to Cliffcross for making this cover for me!

"Daaaaddy? Where are you, we're home!"

Abruptly, Seonghwa distanced his face from Hongjoong's to glance at the closed door. The demon's fingers also stopped on his skin and rested underneath his shirt on his waist like a heating pad.

"Damn it. That late already?" Seonghwa scrambled to stumble from the bed and closed his shirt in the same movement. Comfortable and too lazy to move yet, Hongjoong remained sprawled on the bed. His shirt was still pushed up from their heated make-out session just now, and his gaze was heavy as he watched Seonghwa fix his appearance.

He didn't even have to address the blatantly bad timing of their family for Seonghwa to grimace apologetically.

"Later. You continue packing while I get the other two." With a shooing motion as if Hongjoong had to hide away, Seonghwa stepped out of the door. He met Wooyoung on the stairs on his search for his father, where the boy immediately hugged his legs cheerfully.

"There you are! Have you been eating snacks without Yunho again?" As stern as possible, Wooyoung stared up at him. He looked tiny beneath the large backpack he carried his utensils in. From this angle, it seemed as if there was more Toothless backpack than there was Wooyoung. The boy played with the straps that held his heavy load over his shoulders.

Seonghwa exchanged a glance with Yunho. His boyfriend stood at the bottom of the stairs as he fixed the cufflinks of his pristine white shirt. When he grinned, the complete house lit up as if a stubborn cloud had finally moved away from blocking the sun.

"Snacks were present, yes. Go change your clothes," Seonghwa chuckled at the boy and he dashed off with super speed. Seconds later, he told Yongguk in his room about his day.

Seonghwa stepped down from the stairs to greet his boyfriend. Curiously enough, next to Yunho's bag rested a shopping bag with mysterious contents. As Seonghwa closed in to give Yunho his welcoming kiss, he tried not to peer at it too curiously.

"Had a pleasant morning with the doom of humankind himself?" Yunho loosely wrapped his arms around Seonghwa's waist. Comfortable, Seonghwa leaned into his grip. They liked just standing around hugging at the most random times. Wooyoung had asked them once why they did that, and neither had an answer for him. Their bodies just sought each other as if attracted magnetically.

"I did. Tried to help him with his absurd fear of flying." What a demon he was.

"You know, we can still change our plans. If he doesn't want to go, then I can organise San or so to take care of my mom. It's only for a few days, anyway." The concerned frown on Yunho's face had Seonghwa reach out his hands to smooth out the wrinkles on Yunho's forehead with gentle fingertips. Instantly, that soft smile was back.

"He said it's fine. I can also still buy him some meds to get him too drowsy to be mad at the plane," Seonghwa promised confidently. Then he stood on his tiptoes to kiss Yunho again. The man surged after him to kiss his forehead, too, even when Seonghwa had already pulled back.

For a moment, they stood in the corridor giggling like teenage fools. Seonghwa glanced at the bag once more.

"Don't explode from curiosity," Yunho warned him with a laugh, but he moved to fetch the bag. From its depths, he brought to light a box of chocolates. He handed them to Seonghwa with a knowing grin.

Elated, Seonghwa hugged the box to his chest.

"I wanted to bring you more flowers, but since you are leaving tomorrow, I figured they would be a waste. Eat those during your stay there."

"Bold of you to assume they won't be gone by the time we reach the airport," Seonghwa replied fondly. Then he gave Yunho another kiss as thanks. Just as he stepped away from his lover to check on the casserole in the oven - Yunho's favourite dish of his - Hongjoong stumbled down the stairs. He hadn't bothered to fix his messy hair and his horns were on full display as he dropped a nonchalant 'hi' on Yunho. Four buttons of his shirt were undone, showing off most of his chest. Seonghwa hoped Wooyoung wouldn't ever copy his fashion tastes.

"Now, if it isn't evil personified," Yunho chuckled at him. He bent down to get Hongjoong a carton of eggs from his bag. The demon's eyes immediately lit up with a greedy shine, but he tried to keep his hands to himself. Even as he angled his head away, his gaze kept returning to the welcoming box. It was his favourite kind. Barn eggs from the farm on the outskirts of town, super fresh and delicious.

Yunho waved them at him amusedly. When Hongjoong still resisted with a lot of restraint, a little smile curled around the human's lips.

"Buttering me up, I see. What do you expect as counter-performance, tall mortal?" Hongjoong's voice was meant to sound conceited, but he failed. Too much curiosity blended into it.

Seonghwa shut the oven again to lean against it and warm his butt as he watched the conversation unfold.

"You can't believe that I just want to be nice and give you a present? It's not even much." The teasing tilt in Yunho's voice made Seonghwa snicker into his hand. Wooyoung loudly trampled down the stairs and whizzed past them to sort the dishes onto the table. He had tucked Perry under his arm and he threatened to slip away every few seconds. Wooyoung spent more time fixing the stuffed squirrel than actually putting up the plates.

"Not much-!" Hongjoong instantly calmed his squeaky voice with a long exhale. Finally, he faced Yunho with crossed arms. Defiance stood written all over his drawn brows and pouty lips. Seonghwa's heart warmed at the sight of those two idiots.

"What are you calling not much? Are you diminishing the quality of those first-class eggs?! And in addition, give presents to your boyfriend, not me!" Huffing and puffing, Hongjoong listed all of his complaints. He still looked tiny in front of Yunho.

His eyes stuck to the dangling eggs as if the carton was a pendulum of a grandfather clock. If Yunho tried a little harder, he probably would have been able to hypnotise their demon with it.

"And I am. But I also want to please you, so I brought you something, too. If you don't want them, Hwa can have them for cooking." Yunho stretched out his arm in Seonghwa's direction. Just when Seonghwa pushed off the counter to get the eggs, Hongjoong snatched them from Yunho's hold. Protectively, he pressed them against his chest and glared at both of them.

"Fine! You get what you want, trickster!" Displeased over being outsmarted, Hongjoong sulked for a moment longer. Yunho's lips stretched into a triumphant grin. Then he rose his hand to pet Hongjoong's hair.

"Good boy."

The demon flushed three shades of red as he ripped his head away. He stomped off as Yunho laughed about his adorable antics. Seonghwa's cheeks hurt from how hard he smiled.

With Hongjoong gone to sulk, Yunho turned back to Seonghwa.

"I'll get Snoopy from the car," he informed him swiftly before he jogged back outside. The warm spring weather of March filtered through the open entrance door.

"When do we have to be at the airport, daddy?"

Seonghwa helped Wooyoung with the two glasses he balanced precariously in his tiny hands. Then, he stuffed Perry into the collar of Wooyoung's shirt so he would stop falling. The amazement in the boy's eyes at the practical idea was delightful.

"Tomorrow afternoon. Yunho will drive us there, so don't you worry your cute head about it." Seonghwa tapped his nose when Wooyoung brusquely pushed him aside to access the cutlery drawer. Overly dramatic, Seonghwa stumbled away and acted hurt.

"But I have a smart head! If you need help to plan, I'm in my office." Wooyoung copied the words he had heard so often from Yeosang and nodded his head gravely. Seonghwa snickered at him.

"Yeah, you do. I'll remember it."

Snoopy running in to push her wet nose against their hands distracted them. As Wooyoung squealed with the dog, Seonghwa ushered them all over to the living room so he could safely open the oven again. Steaming and beautiful, the pasta casserole greeted them. Seonghwa sat it down on the stove with his tongue tucked between his lips in concentration. As he reached for the parsley to add a little decor detail, the memo that they should all collect around the desk reached the others. Wooyoung ran to feed Snoopy, and Hongjoong trudged over to the desk to at least sit with them. He still hugged his eggs like a plush animal.

Yunho came over to back hug Seonghwa and watched over his shoulder as he concentrated on his task. The man nearly messed up when Yunho decided to press a sudden kiss to his neck, but thankfully, he stilled his hands in time. Yunho giggled at him when Seonghwa stomped on his foot with no strength or weight in it.

"It looks gorgeous. Just like you, honey." Once he let go, Seonghwa put the casserole on the table so that they could eat. He gave Yunho a proud smile as he threw his self-made potholders off to sit.

"And both fall apart when eaten up," Hongjoong commented with an empty face. When Seonghwa hissed his name and looked around for Wooyoung, the demon threw him a fanged grin.

"Don't take revenge on me because you're tsundere mad at him for getting you a present!" Seonghwa glared as he pulled out a chair for Wooyoung to sit on. The boy clambered up and mimicked drooling at the sight of their feast. Then he grimaced at the paprika slices on his plate. Yunho stole one.

"You're double trouble, I don't trust either of you."

Rich, coming from him. Seonghwa didn't comment on him, but the glance he exchanged with Yunho conveyed the message between them.

"I wonder if we should reverse the tables, Hwa. He's spilling a lot of nonsense recently." Sugary sweetly, Yunho smiled at Hongjoong while he handed Seonghwa his plate. The demon gasped disbelievingly. Before he could complain, Seonghwa nodded his head.

"Maybe we should, yeah..."

"Don't you dare agree with him, mortal! I'm the darkness! You can't conquer me!"

When Seonghwa leaned over the table to hand the plate back, he moved close to Hongjoong's face on purpose. Immediately, the man stilled, his eyes going wide.

"I wonder about that," was all he said. Then he sat back down to give Wooyoung his portion. The boy appeared to be deep in thought.

"If you reverse the tables... Won't all the good food land on the ground?" Concerned, the boy turned to Yunho. The teacher suppressed his endeared smile as he thought about a reply to that.

"Maybe! But eating on the ground is fun. Who knows, it might bring even better food to the table, too! We never tried."

"Like cheese! Mouses love cheese they find on the ground!"

Yunho ruffled his hair as they came to an agreement.

"Try mice, not mouses, but yeah! They do."

Wooyoung tried the word he struggled with on his lips while Yunho coached him. With his legs intertwined with Hongjoong's beneath the table, Seonghwa watched fondly.

"So, how far are we with packing?" He asked Hongjoong quietly so they wouldn't interrupt the other two. The demon proudly pushed his chest out. Then, he checked on his eggs worriedly and sunk back into his chair to cradle them close.

"I finished the offspring's luggage and mine. Yours is still missing the bathroom and medicine stuff."

They had got distracted over something minor earlier before they could finish. Still, there was a lot of time left before they actually left for America.

"You also wanted to call Aeri and ask about the hotel first. She mentioned she wanted to take care of everything, but we have yet to get an update." Like a horned planner, Hongjoong dutifully rattled off the tasks remaining. Seonghwa nodded around his next bite. He had cooked well.

"True, yeah. I should do that whenever she wakes up. Do demons get jetlag? You probably don't sleep long enough for that to happen, right?"

"Correction. I am too powerful for that to happen. Physical ailments don't dominate me." Hongjoong threw his hair back cheekily while Seonghwa just shovelled more pasta into his face.

"Don't complain if it does later." Seonghwa acted nonchalantly, but Hongjoong nudged his leg protestingly for that comment. Seonghwa chuckled at his cuteness.

Dinner went smoothly. Snoopy booped their hands with her nose regularly to gather some attention and get them to feed her the forbidden goods off the table. It had taken a while to get Wooyoung accustomed to the idea that she didn't stomach the casserole as well as he did and that she had her own delicious food. Whenever he became particularly sad about not being able to share with her, Seonghwa gave him some sausages and let him sit next to her cosy spot to have a meal together.

After they had cleared off the table and Hongjoong disappeared together with Wooyoung to play, Seonghwa got comfortable in the living room. He had Yunho and his smooth jazz music as well as some wine with him. While his boyfriend filled their glasses, Seonghwa leaned back to search for Aeri's contact in his phone. His legs came to rest on the coffee table, something he only dared to do when Wooyoung wasn't around to copy it.

The phone rang while Yunho handed Seonghwa his glass. He took it with a grateful smile. As soon as Aeri picked up, he activated the speaker.

"Hey, bride to be," Seonghwa greeted her cheerfully. The wedding was no more than three days away and from all he knew, she already drowned in work and stress.

"Oh, Hwa, I'm so glad you called. I can't believe all of this. Remind me never to marry again."

Seonghwa chuckled around the sip of wine he took. Fruity, it spread on his tongue.

"Reminder never to marry again. Why, is it that much worse than for us back then?"

"I swear, the groom's not the problem, neither then nor now, but that family is driving me mad." Stressed, she rustled with some papers in her background. Then she dropped into a chair and exhaled slowly. Seonghwa's heart filled with pity. He bet she fumbled with her earring right about now, a nervous tick of hers.

"I would love to offer you some of the wine we have here, but I'm afraid right now, you are far. If you want to get drunk for the ceremony, I could make arrangements, though."

Aeri's exhausted chuckle was worth the lame joke. As Seonghwa set down the phone in his lap to lean against Yunho's shoulder, the man wrapped an arm around him to pull him in. When he dropped a silent kiss on the crown of Seonghwa's head, the man nuzzled into him, satisfied. Warm and comfortable, they leaned against each other. Their little bubble of comfort made for the perfect end of a long day.

"Is your boyfriend with you?"

"Yunho, yeah."

The man greeted her cheerfully, pulling another snicker from Aeri.

"Hey, Yunho. You're not the one he will bring, though, right?"

Yunho snorted amusedly. They had yet to tell Aeri about their arrangement around Hongjoong, and Yunho bet it would be fun.

"I'm not, I'm helping my family here and can't leave. But fear not, the guy he will bring will play his role very well."

"I wonder about that." The curiosity that blended into her voice wasn't a nudge to talk. She much preferred an actual conversation over a phone call, anyway. Seonghwa had already made a plan on how to inform her of the long story that intertwined him with those two men. This time, he would go for more patience and compassion than when he had spoilt everything to Yunho.

"How's the weather in Michigan?"

Heels clunked dully onto the ground over the speaker. Seonghwa wondered if she still wore that one black pair he had gifted her once and that she barely replaced with other shoes ever.

"Wet. My mother-in-law told me to drive out to marry in the forest, but you guys will thank me that we decided on a roof once you get drenched to the bone. If you catch me smirking, then that's me being smug."

Yunho snickered into Seonghwa's hair. With a fond smile, Seonghwa sipped his wine again.

"I much prefer not getting that expensive suit wet, you have my vote. Speaking of which, I wanted to ask you about the stay there."

"Oh, me too! I had this guest house nearby that I planned for all of us to stay in, but I reconsidered since quite a few of my guests will try to rip each other's throats out on sight if forced to share a buffet. So I figured I would ask you where you want to go first?"

Yunho's fingers slid under the hem of Seonghwa's shirt to play with his skin. The gentle brushes lulled Seonghwa into relaxation.

"If I can choose, I would want someplace where we aren't near others, maybe a holiday flat? Anywhere where Wooyoung can stretch out his legs is fine with me." And where Hongjoong couldn't make too much trouble, too.

"That's a great idea. There are some lakes and a harbour not far north of our location. I can get you something there and you can go play pirate with your boys," Aeri agreed. Her pen scraped on paper as she took notes.

"Are you taking extra wishes from every one of your guests?"

"No, only those I actually care about. Anybody who wants to suffer has to get through the thick skulls of Dean's parents."

At their laughter, Aeri seemed to slacken over the phone. The next time she spoke, her voice sounded less tense and quite receptive to the ease they took the situation with. Seonghwa was glad that their call seemed to relieve her mood rather than putting more on her schedule.

"I'll have to go to my last fitting on the day you arrive, but I'll send someone to pick you up at the airport. Text me if you need anything else. I can't wait to see Wooyoung again."

Seonghwa hummed, momentarily distracted when Yunho's fingertips brushed over a ticklish spot. As he squirmed, his boyfriend smiled deviously.

"I'm sure he feels the same, even if he's shy. Remember to breathe and we'll be there soon to help where we can."

They said their goodbyes for the evening. Once the call ended, Seonghwa shut off the phone to put it down on the table up ahead. Then he leaned back into Yunho's arm. The man's broad chest formed the perfect pillow under his head. As Seonghwa listened to his heartbeat, he relished the regular up and down of every breath Yunho took.

"She sounds exhausted. Didn't San already go there last week to support her?"

"I think she might need a lot more support than just San. I'm afraid of those in-laws without ever having met them." Seonghwa shuddered dramatically. Instantly, Yunho took the initiative to draw him closer. At the shift of angles, Seonghwa moved his legs over to rest on the tall man's lap.

"Maybe he distracts them for a bit. San can be scarily handsome when he wants to be. They might reconsider letting go of those genes," Seonghwa added with a chuckle. Yunho squinted across the dark room into the corner that held the collection of pictures Seonghwa had put up. It was too dim to make out any details.

"Where are Wooyoung's San genes?"

"I think he got the freckles from that side. Wouldn't be the first time people mistake San for Woo's dad either." Mock hurt laced Seonghwa's voice. He washed his pain away with more wine. Yunho agreed with his drama just as theatrically.

When Hongjoong sneaked down the stairs, both men rose their eyes to him. In the dim light coming from the kitchen, the demon's eyes reflected like those of a cat as he found his way through the darkness effortlessly. Then, he switched on the LED lights in the form of little roses that Seonghwa had draped along the curtains. Soft light bathed them in an orange hue. Seonghwa inwardly thanked his consideration for not activating the blaring light above.

"Why are you two giggling in the dark like two evil masterminds?" The demon asked them warily. As he came over to drop on the couch next to Seonghwa, Yunho brought the wine bottle further away from his flailing limbs.

Warmed by the alcohol, Seonghwa marvelled at the pretty demon in this perfect light. He had turned it on mostly for the health of their human eyes, but now Seonghwa made even better use of it.

"You know, just figuring out how to take over the world bank. Our evil white pet gave us up, though." Seonghwa nodded at Snoopy, who laid in the kitchen on her fluffy pillow and slumbered carelessly. Her mountains of fur barely stood out from the pillow, making her a formless beige heap on the ground.

"I think you need to wash her more often. White looks different to me," Hongjoong giggled as he threw his legs into their mix. Figuring out which one was whose and disentangling them later would be great fun.

"Did you bring Wooyoung to bed already?"

"Yeah, I seized the chance. He'd be bouncing from the walls in a few hours when the thought of flying soon catches up with him again, so I made sure to use the forgetful minutes." Proud, he pushed out his chest, garnering the attention of both males with it.

Hongjoong had a pretty chest. Full and squishy to play with. If Seonghwa weren't holding his precious glass, he would have reached out for it. Tonight, it looked particularly inviting.

"Smart move. If he wakes in the middle of the night, you can watch a movie with him. He won't be able to calm the hype down otherwise."

Seonghwa's compliment made the demon shine like a Christmas decoration. As he hid his satisfied grin by lifting his face towards the ceiling, Seonghwa's eyes got stuck on those boobs again. He didn't even have to look over to know that Yunho shared the sentiment.

"Count on me, mortal. I'll make sure you two will get enough sleep tonight." Confident in his abilities, Hongjoong patted his own shoulder. His glow had Yunho empty his glass with one last gulp and set it down on the table. Effortless, he reached over Seonghwa with his long arms to scoop Hongjoong up and pull him in. The demon gave a surprised yelp when he got transferred onto Yunho's lap from where he had been sitting just a second ago.

Amused, Seonghwa leaned further away to save his glass. The demon perched on Yunho's lap with his back to the man, and he looked adorably tiny compared to their tall boyfriend.

"Say, Hongjoong, did you gain weight by any chance? Or did some training?"

Befuddled, the demon yelped when Yunho's nimble fingers wandered under his pullover. The two of them were still fairly unpractised with each other without Seonghwa to mediate between them. The sudden advance startled the demon, but it seemed to flatter him all the same.

"I- I don't keep watch on that. Why are you asking?" Shivering, he arched into Yunho's touch. The large hands underneath his wide sweater cupped his ribcage first, then his chest. When Yunho pulled them flush together with a squeeze on Hongjoong's boobs, a deep blush dusted the man's cheeks. The barest shimmer of star-like freckles followed it.

"Blame it on the alcohol, but these look delectable today. I'd have to hit myself if I just never noticed them before."

Seonghwa chuckled into his wineglass at that statement. Yunho stomached his alcohol well, but Hongjoong didn't need to know that. No need to mess with the wriggling demon any further.

"You have bad timing at noticing then because you two need your sleep to have enough energy tomorrow." Hongjoong squirmed in Yunho's lap, not making it better for either of them. Seonghwa's lidded eyes stuck to the way his hardened nipples dented his shirt. Touching him looked so much fun, but Seonghwa knew he was right. Playtime had to wait until they were back from America.

"I am considering sending Seonghwa to bed and keeping you here for a while. I can always down a few coffees, and I won't fly, anyway. Having to miss out on this for a week though... That sounds cruel."

All cockiness was wiped from Hongjoong's face as he tried to come up with an excuse why to deny the pleasure they both so clearly wanted. For a moment, his train of thought visibly fell short. Instead, he trembled in Yunho's hold sensitively.

"You could come to bed anyway and just play with them until you fall asleep. If that is fine for you?"

Hongjoong very much looked like a demon who liked his chest played with. There was no denying that. The blissed-out expression and slight push of his upper body against Yunho's huge hands were quite obvious.

"S-sure. We can do that," Hongjoong agreed. He cleared his throat as if the slip up had never happened.

After another appreciative squeeze, Yunho retreated his hands. Then, he gently pushed Hongjoong off to bring away his glass. Seonghwa emptied his to hand it to him, too. While Yunho went into the kitchen to rinse them and put the bottle into the fridge, Seonghwa's eyes fell on Hongjoong. The demon had grabbed onto the hem of his sweater to adjust it, but shyness still glowed on his cheeks. A whole new side of him had been exposed.

Seonghwa didn't comment on it. He merely smirked at the man before he ushered his two boys upstairs. They got ready for bed and all fit into the large one that Seonghwa called his own. Hongjoong struggled sometimes with his wings when Yunho came over, which was why they had set up another corner in Wooyoung's room that either of them sometimes spent their nights in. Tonight, they all shared this place, however. Seonghwa watched it for a while how Yunho idly fondled Hongjoong's naked chest while pressed up against the smaller man. Little sighs and whines dropped from Hongjoong now and then, but they kept it tame.

Seonghwa got a lot of good sleep before they would set out on the next day for their grand adventure.

-

Seonghwa busied his hands with the finishing touches of his luggage when Wooyoung appeared in the door. This morning, Yunho had taken care of providing everybody with breakfast and rechecking their things and papers so Seonghwa wouldn't get too stressed trying to multitask it all at once. When Wooyoung dropped by, he even knocked shyly on the doorframe to alert Seonghwa of his presence without disturbing him.

Seonghwa smiled broadly at his little angel and beckoned him closer. After his styling from Yunho, Wooyoung wore his good jeans and an orderly shirt tucked into it. A thin jacket bounced around his hips for if he got cold on the plane, and his hair fell into his forehead in cute bouncy locks. He looked adorable, and Seonghwa hugged him close first thing.

"Good morning, daddy! Did you sleep well?" The smell of Yunho's shampoo clung to the boy, and Seonghwa breathed it in with glee. Yunho's ways of making sure that Seonghwa thought about him often catered to his sense of smell, and Seonghwa quite liked it. Where Yunho was, it smelled good.

"I did, I dreamt of you. What about you?" Seonghwa tapped Wooyoung's nose before he stood up and grabbed the suitcase to haul it downstairs. Looking around if there was anything to help with, Wooyoung followed. Ultimately, he carried Seonghwa's handbag for him.

"I had fun! When I woke up at night, I was too excited to go to sleep but papa was there to watch Biraculous with me! Can I ask you a question?"

"Of course." Seonghwa set down the suitcase next to Wooyoung's smaller one and his other one that Hongjoong used. For eggs, probably. He wondered if he would run into trouble with customs for that.

"Changbinnie told me that his little brother drinks from his mama's chest sometimes when she holds him like this." Wooyoung clumsily mimicked a grip on a baby with his arms. Seonghwa fought a smile at the adorable attempt. With rapt attention, he listened to the complicated thought that Wooyoung voiced.

"There's milk in there! That's why she has a bigger chest than you!" Awed, Wooyoung stared up at him. With a coo, Seonghwa bent to ruffle his hair and adjust the knot on his jacket that threatened to slip from his hips.

"Yeah, many mamas have milk for their kids in there. When you were really little, Aeri fed you, too."

Beat at the memory that he couldn't recall, Wooyoung just nodded slowly. Things seemed to add up for him.

"Why do you ask?"

"Binnie said that it hurts his mom sometimes. And when I watched the movie with Hongjoong, he touched and looked at his chest a lot. He also has a big chest." Worried, Wooyoung glanced down at his own child-like body. It stood in no comparison with that of the grown male that Hongjoong was, demon sex appeal included.

"Do you think he hurts, too? Since I have no mama here, can he have the milk? What if the milk inside hurts him?" Deeply concerned, Wooyoung looked around as if he might find Hongjoong collapsed from a milk problem anywhere on the ground. Seonghwa had to roll his lips into his mouth to keep himself from having a squealing session over his son. The corners of his lips tugged up, anyway.

"Don't worry, Woo. I don't think he hurts. Men don't have milk in there."

Upset, Wooyoung glanced down at himself once more. A deep frown marred his forehead.

"But what if I want to feed my baby with it?!" As if frustrated by that bane of existence, he threw his hands into the air how he had seen it people do on TV. His little arms made it seem even more clumsy.

"Either you ask a mama to do it, or you take a bottle. You loved your bottle very much."

At that, Wooyoung's eyes shone again. Full of wonder, he re-imagined the entire world.

"Bottles also work?"

"Yep. You had it for about a year after Aeri left, and it was your favourite thing ever. I still have it somewhere. I can show you once we return."

The memories of Wooyoung far smaller than he currently was on Seonghwa's arm as he dandled him to sleep seemed so fresh and yet so far in his head. Wooyoung had never cried for his mother too much, but he was high maintenance, especially since he was Seonghwa's first child and he was mostly alone. Still, he had treasured every moment of it.

Intrigued, Wooyoung agreed to the idea. Then, he bounced on his feet when Yunho joined them from the kitchen. Snoopy was with him and she halted to snuggle up to Wooyoung full of content. While they hugged, Seonghwa looked around for his favourite demon. Yunho was meant to drive them to the airport, but they wouldn't depart without the complete team.

Quickly, Seonghwa jumped up the stairs, taking two at a time to scout the area for the boy. He found him in the bathroom opposite Mingi, who still regularly visited their home via the mirror. They had still not caught up with his name change. Neither the demon nor the angel department seemed very competent. Excluding Yeosang, of course.

"Are you sure, though, because I don't want him to think that I-" Hongjoong interrupted himself when Seonghwa appeared in the open door. Smooth like a river, Mingi faded into nothingness until no trace of his pink plastic horn hair clips remained.

Seonghwa just wanted to remind the demon to hurry when his gaze fell on his open shirt. Beneath the orderly black dress shirt that Hongjoong wore out in public to rule in the fashion department, he wore a garment made of black mesh. It hugged his body tightly and painted symbols on his skin that Seonghwa would classically connect to witchcraft and occult symbols. It fit Hongjoong's forms and layered him like a second skin. And the runes gave a certain shadowing and depth to the curve of his chest that had Seonghwa's fingers twitch against the door frame.

"What's that?"

Now that he had already seen, there was no reason to beat around the bush. Neither of them did that. Hongjoong had been ruthless about that toy, too, and he still sometimes brought it up to Seonghwa. Citation: "What's better than one demon dick? Correct, two demon dicks!". Seonghwa didn't need to remember more detail at this point.

When Hongjoong shyly pulled his shirt closed around his body, Seonghwa hid his disappointment well. But Hongjoong just seemed shy, not too bratty.

"Nothing. I can show you later."

Since they were pressing for time, Seonghwa left it at that. He just nodded at him and told him they had to leave before they made their way down the stairs. Hongjoong just had to button up his shirt, and he was ready to go. As soon as all buttons were shut, he also easily returned to his usual playful self.

Yunho and Seonghwa loaded the car while Wooyoung shared his incredible recent information on milk with Hongjoong. The man listened intently even once they had all piled into the car and said bye to Snoopy before they took off. Seonghwa and Yunho sat at the front so Seonghwa could swoon over Yunho's ringed fingers on the wheel, and the two kids conversed in the back. Before they had taken off, Wooyoung had got Perry from his rucksack to hold him tight in his hands.

Most of their ride comprised regular small talk and Seonghwa going over the lists in his phone once more to see if he truly had everything. Every minute, he also checked the clock and re-calculated the time they would take at the airport. All the way to the parking lot, Yunho assured him they were fine and well on time. He accompanied them inside until they had to part at the check-in.

"Text me once you depart and land. And if you need anything, tell me." Yunho sweetly kissed Seonghwa before they had to separate and hugged Wooyoung. After a few moments of Hongjoong evading him, he also caught the begrudging demon and left a kiss on his cheek. Hongjoong pulled a face as if it were the most disgusting thing on earth.

Yeosang had provided Hongjoong with a demon passport once they had informed him he had to fly. Despite Seonghwa's anxiety, they passed the entry with no troubles. Wooyoung even made the teller smile brightly when he told her goodbye in his cheerful voice.

Security proved to be a little more trouble. Hongjoong had difficulties following the instructions, and he flustered the people that had to search him for suspicious ware when he grinned his fanged smile at them. By the time he finally joined Seonghwa at the door, the man rolled his eyes at his cheeky companion.

"How long will we be flying for?"

"A few hours, so don't miss out on the food. There are TVs in there, so you can watch movies together." Seonghwa handed him his ticket to carry while he led Wooyoung by his hand. With gigantic eyes, the boy looked around everywhere. His Toothless backpack bounced with his every step. His amazement had taken all ability to comment away from him.

"Wooyoungie, let's watch that Disney movie you didn't see yet! Will you recognise the picture?" While Hongjoong focused on the boy and they looked around with astonishment, Seonghwa found them a place to sit at their gate. Still, an hour before they would be led through, so he texted Yunho and Aeri. Yunho was glad that they made it through without a hassle. Aeri warned them to prepare for rain upon their arrival.

Time passed quickly with two curious sweethearts at Seonghwa's expense. He told them about the way planes held themselves up during turbulences, about how their taste buds changed up so high (or at least Wooyoung's would) and that the little carts driving around between the huge aircrafts took care of their luggage and maintenance for them. Wooyoung showed everything to Perry.

Soon, they could enter the plane and found their seats. The old lady behind Seonghwa glared at him at first when he noticed he had a child with him. As soon as she noticed Wooyoung kept stable and an actual baby screamed elsewhere in the cabin, she quickly avoided his smug grin. Hongjoong sat at the window with Wooyoung basically thrown over his lap as they watched the happenings outside. The demon muttered under his breath how he would already be halfway there if he had flown by himself.

Seonghwa sat at the walking path and accepted everything the crew handed to them. Before they had taken off, Wooyoung was already snuggled into his blanket.

None of them threw up at take-off, which made Seonghwa quite proud. In general, Wooyoung much rather looked as if he was riding a fun roller coaster. Hongjoong looked white around his nose, but he took it well. Being cramped in that tiny space became more of a problem for him than the flight. An hour later, Seonghwa and he switched seats so Hongjoong could sometimes wander up and down the path when he got too antsy.

Their flight exhausted all of them. Wooyoung got some sleep in between, and Seonghwa traded seats once more to sit in the middle later so both of them could lean on him and find a resting spot. When they stumbled out of the plane, Seonghwa was in dire need of a long bath and some good food.

Yunho wished them good luck on their search for Aeri. As she had predicted, it rained in Detroit as they gathered their luggage and stepped out of the airport. One call later, Seonghwa found out that she had sent San to pick them up. At least they didn't have too much trouble finding him.

Wooyoung collapsed into Hongjoong promptly as soon as they had piled into the car. The two shared their peace while Seonghwa caught up with San. Every so often when he glanced at the backseat, he found Hongjoong staring out of the window while his hand lazily slid through Wooyoung's hair. Those two had become inseparable.

"So, are the in-laws the terrifying sea monsters Aeri describes them as?"

San snorted as he switched up the windscreen wipers to a higher level. Just as Seonghwa had expected, he had taken on a classy and cool exterior while out on the important festivities of his sister. His pink hair was combed back neatly, and he wore a black leather jacket over a just as black shirt.

"Double whatever she told you. Yesterday, Dean's grandmother remembered she had an ugly family heirloom that she needed to pass down for Aeri to wear during the wedding. It doesn't fit her dress and the rest at all. Aeri wanted to leave it as it is, and grandma just couldn't stop yelling as if the world ended."

Seonghwa already rubbed his face at the prospect of meeting such charming fellows. At least they weren't his future family.

"And what did they settle on?"

"It's a bracelet. Aeri offered to wear it under the dress around her ankle. Cue old granny nearly exploding. Dean took it with humour though, so he will wear it. Unacceptable, but they couldn't settle otherwise. Aeri hates the idea of being marked by them like livestock, anyway." San sighed deeply. No doubt, he already had enough of the drama. And all that just because of greed.

"I wonder what they will say about me. Is bringing a boyfriend trouble for them?"

With a shrug, San switched the lane to take the next exit down the highway. Through the blurry windows neared a beautiful forest with tall trees that already greened shyly.

"If they make trouble, Aeri will make trouble back. You two are the most precious people for her there. And I'm sure your demon boy won't let them hack you apart either." San peeked into the mirror to search for Hongjoong in the back. The thought of the demon around had taken a while to become comfortable for him. After Hongjoong had watched the whole four seasons of his favourite anime together with him and even got him an action figure of it, though, San had accepted him like any other friend. The figure had got its own shrine on top of his drawer.

"I suppose if I brought Yunho the love he gets everywhere would feel all wrong. They would try to marry another kid of theirs to him, but all just for the face of it. Joong will bite back," Seonghwa agreed, too.

After another hour of drive, San pulled into a parking lot. The gravel crunched under the tires of the car he had got, indicating the peaceful area. When Seonghwa got out of the car to stretch his legs, he spotted the lake not far from them as it filled the valley between the hills. The idyllic place already filled Seonghwa's lungs with fresh air and peacefulness.

Hongjoong emerged from the car with Wooyoung slung onto his back like a sloth. While Seonghwa and San took care of the luggage, the demon sometimes whispered to the boy to check if he was still awake. Wooyoung tiredly replied with nonsensical answers to the just as stupid questions. In passing, Seonghwa picked one up.

"Woo, what is yellow and sinks in the ocean?"

"A truck."

It kept Wooyoung entertained as they made their way over to one of the tiny houses. San fumbled for the keys.

"You have two rooms in here, all for yourself. There is no kid's bed available, but you can figure it out. If you need anything, I'm right over there." He pointed at another similar hut around the curve of the lake. "Do you need help to unpack?"

Seonghwa gave him a grateful smile as he pushed the suitcase inside and settled everything in the corridor. San handed the keys over with a puppy look in his eyes, ready to help.

"No, I think we'll be fine. Go rest a bit before you are needed again."

With a grin, San waved at them and wished them a good day before he disappeared. Seonghwa pushed the door shut and nodded at the rooms in the back.

"Let's get some sleep first and do the rest later."

Nobody said no to that. They left the doors open as Hongjoong dropped in one bed and Seonghwa and Wooyoung in the other so the demon wouldn't be lonely. Then, they casually slept all through the evening and into the next morning.

-

Aeri came by for breakfast when Seonghwa called to tell her they had settled in for the day. All luggage was in the drawers it belonged to and Seonghwa made some tea. When the doorbell rang, Wooyoung sprung to his feet where he had been sitting in the living room with Hongjoong and playing with the legos they had brought. Seonghwa followed closely behind him.

With Aeri came the cold air of spring. But her eyes lit up warmly at the sight of Wooyoung.

"Hey, sweetheart! How was your journey?"

Wooyoung allowed her to hug him, then he smiled at her brightly. As usual, the social butterfly within him beat the fear of the person he didn't know well.

"Hello! It was cool, the plane was so big! Bigger than our house!"

"That big?" With a chuckle, she stepped around him to access Seonghwa. They shared a tight hug that boosted her confidence some more. None of them bothered to correct Wooyoung on his math.

"Yeah! You take them often, right? Doesn't it make you tired?"

"It certainly does. So I get all the happier when I get to see my favourite people after a long flight."

Excited, Wooyoung bounced around them. She had brought a drawing book and a box of crayons for him in the wise prediction that the wedding might get boring. After a polite 'thanks' he zoomed off into the living room to go colour the first dinosaurs.

When the two adults followed him slowly while still busy exchanging their favourite chocolates, as they always did, Hongjoong stood from the couch. All neat and with his wings and horns well hidden, he stepped up to give Aeri his hand.

"Ah, Aeri, this is Hongjoong, the date I brought. Hongjoong, this is-"

With a giggle, Aeri interrupted Seonghwa's stiff speech.

"We've met. Let me introduce myself formally this time before you send me off. I'm Aeri, actually Wooyoung's mom." Their hands joined in a welcoming squeeze.

"I'm Hongjoong, you passed the test," he grinned back just as brightly.

"He lives with you, right?" When Aeri rose his brow at Seonghwa, he realised she recalled. They had talked about Hongjoong and Seonghwa's infatuation with him before dating Yunho had even started. She connected the dots with a scary accuracy, and the question of which role Hongjoong had in Seonghwa's life stood written all over her features.

"He does. He's also uh- how to say, a second boyfriend?" Seonghwa winced around the words, knowing how they might come off. But Aeri knew well enough what their debate back then had entailed.

"I see, congrats on snatching two beautiful men. I'm sure that Dean's parents won't have to suspect anything between us still ongoing under these circumstances." She took it without batting an eyelash. Then she sat down on the couch. Hongjoong curiously followed the example while Seonghwa brought the tea over and placed it on the other end of the coffee table, so Wooyoung still had lots of space to draw on. The three mugs he got had all the same boring white colour and basic cut.

"To make this clear, Yunho is the boyfriend. I'm just the leech they kind of keep around. I'm probably somewhere between a pet and Wooyoung." The demon snickered at his words. Wooyoung mumbled to himself what a leech was supposed to be. Maybe Yongguk had an answer for him.

"Nooo, why would you say that, Joong? You know I love you, and Yunho does, too." With a protesting huff, Seonghwa dropped next to Hongjoong to pull him into his arm. At first, the man made an act out of squirming away and yelling about the blood of the unborn and living dead. Soon, he settled into Seonghwa's arm like a satisfied cat, though. Aeri smiled at their childish antics.

"Don't listen to a word he says, he's trying to make me look bad. Anyway, how's your to-be husband doing? San already told us the horrors of the parents."

Aeri rolled her eyes hard enough that it had to hurt, but he told him anyway. About the strict rules they had set up for her, the paranoia and intrigues and badmouthing they did behind everybody's backs. Dean barely sided with them, and he and Aeri just wanted to get this over with, but everything proved to be tricky.

Her story carried on for a while, and in between, Seonghwa ordered food over to their place. As they ate, Aeri informed them that their last preparations until the wedding would be super busy. But she promised to take the time and go on a walk around the lakes with them afterwards and introduce Dean formally, too. Then, she had to leave soon after since her mother called to have her decide on something venue-related.

Ultimately, if San wouldn't do anything to the buffet this time, and the family held their rage back, the day would promise to become a success. Aeri looked forward to it without troubles.

Since the day after was mostly full of unstoppable rain, the group stayed in. They face-timed Yunho and San dropped by to annoy them for a bit. They also sorted out their sleeping arrangements to perfection. Wooyoung would stay in one room since he preferred his space. Seonghwa had pushed the table to the side so he wouldn't fall off his mattress even if he tried. Hongjoong and Seonghwa slept in the other room so the demon could stretch his wings at night and Seonghwa leeched off his heat as usual.

The day of the wedding rolled around and dawned on them with a chaotic morning. Wooyoung ran around like a headless chicken trying to find Perry because he couldn't leave the house without him. Hongjoong had dropped one of his precious eggs and wailed as he tried to eat it off the ground despite Seonghwa's explicit warning not to. And Seonghwa just tried to get the both of them and himself ready so that they could arrive early enough to help Aeri and get introduced to their roles.

Seonghwa already ran through the house dressed in his fancy suit. The only things he was missing were his shoes and the jacket that he had taken off again once the whole scenario proved to be more difficult than expected. By the time he had moved Hongjoong to the bedroom and told him to get dressed, even Wooyoung had already reached the acceptance that he needed to hurry.

Once Wooyoung was styled prettily in his little suit with the bow tie neatly bound around his neck, Seonghwa left him and Perry at the table. He also gave the boy his phone to call Yunho and hopefully be distracted for long enough until Seonghwa finished with Hongjoong. From how hot his scalp felt, he worried about having to style his hair again if things continued like this.

The silver earring that dangled from Seonghwa's ear brushed his jaw as he closed the door to the bedroom behind him. Hongjoong at least wore his pants by now, but his upper body was still bare. Or, well, not completely so, since the same long-sleeved mesh shirt hugged his skin that Seonghwa had spotted before. It mapped out his every nook and cranny and decorated his faintly glowing skin beautifully.

"Oh, Hwa. Can it possibly be that you are wearing my shirt and this one is yours?"

"No, you wanted the one with those buttons. What is this?" Once again, Seonghwa stepped closer to explore. As his fingers ran over Hongjoong's waist to explore the delicately webbed net fabric with his hands. It felt smooth under his fingertips like the skin of a snake and no doubt, Hongjoong adored the sensation just as much.

"It's a body. This is me practising my possession skills." Despite his light-hearted joke, Hongjoong's tone carried a hint of shyness. Instantly, Seonghwa dropped a kiss onto his shoulder to reassure him. Hongjoong's fingers busily fiddled the buttons of his shirt open as he pretended not to mind.

"You look gorgeous in it. Are you going to keep it on during the wedding?" Seonghwa's fingers traced over the sliver of flesh on Hongjoong's hips that peeked through the fabric of his pants and the body. Around his middle, the mesh dipped down beneath his waistband and Seonghwa wanted to let his hands explore, but he didn't have the time at the moment.

"Aye, I like how it feels on my skin." Buttered up at the compliment, Hongjoong smoothed his hand down his stomach to relish the feeling. When Seonghwa's hands roamed all over, little shudders travelled through his body.

Seonghwa helped him into his shirt and released his touches only begrudgingly. While he buttoned up Hongjoong's skirt, the demon curiously watched his face.

"Will you be sad that Aeri marries someone else? Seeing one's mate that you have offspring with move on must be painful."

With a chuckle, Seonghwa shook his head.

"No, that's fine with me. She knows what she's doing, and it has been years since we broke apart. If I were still stuck on her, then Yunho and you wouldn't be such important people in my life." Once the shirt was closed, Seonghwa pulled a vest over the demon's shoulders, mirroring his own current look. Both of them wore the rings that Hongjoong had made already, and they mirrored each other's fingers.

"That's good. I will try to act like Yunho today. All sweet and charming. That's better than our usual fighting, isn't it?"

Seonghwa quite enjoyed Hongjoong's bratty side, but he was right this time. The wedding would have enough issues without them being playful already.

"Oh, you can do that?" Teasing, Seonghwa adjusted the fancy vintage cravat he wore first, and then the bolo tie holding a purple stone that matched their rings on Hongjoong's neck.

"Of course, I can!" Exasperated, Hongjoong glared him down. His blue hair naturally fell orderly today and exposed his forehead. He looked great. Seonghwa bet he had cheated with demon powers to complete his look.

When Seonghwa just surprisedly rose his brow at Hongjoong, the man didn't hesitate for a moment. With neatly trimmed nails, he swooped in to grasp Seonghwa's hand and raised it to his lips. Their eyes never broke their gaze on each other as he brushed a faint kiss over Seonghwa's knuckles. The way that Seonghwa's eyes drifted to the side embarrassedly had the usual smirk reappear on Hongjoong's lips.

"You look breathtaking, honey," Hongjoong purred the word that Yunho would usually use. From his lips, it sounded far less innocent and doting. As anything he said, it had a sharp spice to it. Yet, Seonghwa liked it.

"Fair, we can work with that. Are you ready to go?"

Just as Hongjoong nodded, the doorbell downstairs rang. Fashionably late as always, San collected them from the house and they all piled into the car. San wore a white suit that accentuated his natural tan and pink hair. He looked pretty and would in no way pale next to his sister.

"Ready for your first wedding, little man?" San smiled his dimpled grin at Wooyoung. The boy had insisted on sitting on the passenger seat and throned on it very uptight and with his nose held high. Clearly, he felt like a little prince in his outfit.

Hongjoong cooed at him soundlessly. He had one hand on the leg that Seonghwa had thrown over into his leg room since his was too small.

"I am! Why didn't you wear a dress?"

"Dean's parents wouldn't like that. They are boring old people. I'm sure I would have rocked any dress. You too, Woo." They fist-bumped in mutual understanding.

When they pulled up at the venue, Seonghwa marvelled at the botanical garden inside. Through the glass walls and ceiling, he could see lush greens and fresh flowers of all kinds that beautifully decorated the wedding area. With his umbrella at the ready, Seonghwa stepped out onto the paved parking lot that was full of cars and wedding guests in various coloured dresses and suits already. Some of them side-eyed them judgingly when Wooyoung jumped out of the car with an exclamation of joy. Based on the rumours, Seonghwa assumed that those were the groom's side of the family. Lovely people.

Like the gentleman he was today, Hongjoong took the umbrella from Seonghwa to hold it. Then, he offered his free arm for Seonghwa to link himself to.

San had his own umbrella, and he took Wooyoung at his hand to lead him inside. The place was warm and smelled of sweet roses. Once they had put the umbrellas away, San led them over to a group of chatting people. Seonghwa recognised Aeri's mother among them.

"Am I still on time? I sped on the highway so nobody can tell me off!" Giggling, San inserted himself into the group. He garnered a few exasperated sighs, but everybody smiled at him. The tall man next to him curiously eyed Wooyoung.

Aeri's mother recognised him right away.

"If it isn't my precious grandchild! Hello, Wooyoung!"

Wooyoung most likely couldn't remember her since it had been a while since he last saw her. Yet, he greeted her with a big smile.

"Hello!"

"Did you and your father have a save flight?" As she cooed over him and his little suit with her friend on her side and then back at the boy, Seonghwa finally caught up with them, too. Instantly, all eyes landed on him.

For a second, he shrunk under the amount of attention. Then he gave his most appealing smile.

"We did, thanks. He barely slept from the excitement."

Again, she coddled a confused Wooyoung who basked in the attention, anyway. Then she stepped over to hug Seonghwa. He parted from Hongjoong to receive her warm welcome.

"I haven't seen you in forever, dear. Everyone, this is Seonghwa and Wooyoung." As she introduced him to the circle, their eyes lit up in recognition. With a nervous smile and nods at their greetings, he gestured at Hongjoong.

"I also brought my fiance today. His name is Hongjoong."

The demon gave a little bow as he got acknowledged, too. No malicious whispers passed around.

"Wonderful to meet you, Hongjoong! I'm Wooyoung's grandmother, Aeri's mom." They shook hands politely. Then, the woman turned to beckon at the man next to San. They had been laughing and talking to Wooyoung a moment ago.

"Come here, darling. Boys, this is Dean, the groom. Dean, this is Seonghwa," she introduced them personally again.

Dean seemed like a nice guy. He had a brilliant smile and gentle eyes as he shook Seonghwa's hand with a soft grip.

"Nice to meet you, I heard a lot about you and Wooyoung. He's adorable."

A bit reluctant since he couldn't help but compare himself to the groom, Seonghwa just saluted.

"Congrats for you two, too." Judging by Dean's smile, he knew they were just putting up a front, but Seonghwa took it smoothly. The tender smile he gave Wooyoung was very real.

"Thank you. I'm happy that there is no bad blood between us and you don't mind us here on your happy day."

Huffing, Dean waved it off.

"As if. You're important friends and family still. And as long as you are fine to be here, let's all have a fun day together."

Seonghwa decided to like him. Laid-back as he was, he didn't doubt that he could probably aid Aeri in her stressful life and remind her to slow down sometimes.

Wooyoung latched back onto Seonghwa's hand when San departed from the group. After dipping into a back room for a moment, he emerged a moment later to motion Seonghwa to come over. With his two boys attached to him, Seonghwa joined him.

Aeri was inside the room getting ready. She donned a white jumpsuit with lace decorations that flared around her long legs. A white flower crown held her dark hair back, and she fiddled with her earrings as they came in. A friend of hers darted through the room as she got a white cape ready Aeri would wear around her shoulders.

"Hey, Hwa and squad," she greeted them cheerfully. Seonghwa was glad that not too much tiredness clung to her. Her system seemed to have worked out.

"You look fantastic." Seonghwa closed the door behind them so Wooyoung could zoom around and marvel at the bride in peace. Back when she had married Seonghwa, she had worn a dress since he came from a traditional family. In her suit, she looked even more comfortable, though.

"Thanks, I'm glad that I didn't defeat that purpose. You two also make a beautiful pair. And Woo will make all the girls here fall for him today." She chuckled at how Wooyoung coyly cupped his face with his hands.

San stood at the door and pouted until he got a compliment, too.

"How long will the festivities last?"

"Depends on the rain, honestly. We wanted to go out later to take some photos, but it might have to wait. If Woo gets tired, you can leave, of course."

"It's fine, I also enjoy seeing you move on into a part of your life you look forward to. We'll stick around for the cake and leave afterwards. We can still talk without the number of people when you drop by."

Aeri smiled warmly at him. Then, she offered Wooyoung one of the flowers she had lying around to tuck into his breast pocket. He wore it proudly.

"I originally wanted to ask him to be a flower boy, but I didn't know if that wasn't too sudden given that you just arrived."

"What does a flower boy do?" Wooyoung's curiosity was spiked, even when Seonghwa had already nodded sympathetically.

"He throws flowers. See, I will walk through the hall and you would walk in front of me and sprinkle them on the way."

"That's easy, I can do that!" Excited, Wooyoung looked back at Seonghwa. His big eyes pleaded permission. Soft-hearted, Seonghwa nodded back at Aeri.

"If she allows it, I don't mind. It's her wedding."

Aeri and Wooyoung clapped into their hands passionately at the same time. Hongjoong stifled a snicker at how similar their lit faces were.

"Wonderful! Then will you let him stick around while you two get to your seats? I have another flower girl, and I will introduce them."

At the mention, San the dutiful servant rushed off to search for the girl in question. When Wooyoung excitedly bounced and agreed, Seonghwa gave his permission.

He and Hongjoong found their seats in the second row directly behind Aeri's direct family. They chatted with each other to the point of Seonghwa feeling bad because Hongjoong could just sit by idly. Yet, whenever he glanced over to check on him, the demon gave him a patient smile.

The ceremony began soon after. Of course, Wooyoung was the world best flower boy and took everybody's hearts by storm. Seonghwa filmed it for Yunho as the boy royally marched along Aeri and the other girl with a big grin on his lips. His petals decorated the path beautifully. Once Aeri had arrived at the altar safely, Wooyoung handed his basket away and sprung over to Seonghwa. He wanted to tell him everything excitedly, but Seonghwa just pulled him close to shush him for now. Wooyoung's eyes gleamed at the promise to hear everything later.

The ceremony took place peacefully. Dean and Aeri looked satisfied with their bond, but not like the typical overjoyed couple. It was enough for the family, though. Once all talks had ended and everybody had held their speeches, the buffet was open for everyone. Starving as if Seonghwa hadn't fed them in years, Hongjoong and Wooyoung dragged him over.

There were no raw eggs, sadly, but Hongjoong found a cake he liked 'that still faintly carried their taste.' Wooyoung wanted a chocolate doughnut and stuffed his cheeks with no abandon.

Seonghwa took some vegetables on his plate and he was just about to turn to his boys and wait with them until the swarm of people around the freshly married couple thinned out. However, before he could get out even a word, a brisk tap on his shoulder redirected his attention.

He found himself in front of a small woman with greying hair that was pulled into a stern bun. On her side, she had someone that might have been a son as she stared up at Seonghwa coldly. Helpless, he gave them a puzzled smile.

"So, you are the ex, huh?" Quite rudely, she cut right to the chase. Seonghwa lowered his plate, afraid to eat while stared at so evilly.

"I am. Who do I have the pleasure with?" Not as if he couldn't figure.

"I'm Dean's mother, and by extent, now an in-law of your kid. I came to look at him."

Weirded out, Seonghwa cast a searching glance at Wooyoung. Right now, he looked quite happy to giggle with Hongjoong as the two filled their stomachs. He would hate to drag him away now.

"He's busy right now. Maybe you could wait for a moment?"

Snotty, the woman snapped her head away from where she had been piercing poor Wooyoung with stares.

"Fine. I can also ask you a few things first while he is busy poisoning his body with all those sweets." As if judgemental of Seonghwa's parenting skills, she graced him with her scowling again. Upset, Seonghwa kept his comments for himself. It wasn't her business what Wooyoung ate or didn't eat.

"How long have you been married to Aeri for?" The woman popped a cherry into her mouth and promptly grimaced at the taste. Seonghwa hoped it had been worth it.

"Not long. We dated for three years in school before we married and got Wooyoung soon after. The actual marriage was maybe a year and a half."

"Hm, so not good at keeping people around. Maybe Aeri is the intelligent one, after all. Why didn't she take the kid? Actually, because of work or is he a troublemaker?"

Increasingly more irritated by the rude assumptions she made about him, Seonghwa's voice quietened further. He didn't like this conversation, but he saw no way to flee it soon.

"Because of work and because she knew I was the better party to bring him up. You won't have a lot to do with him, I'm his sole guardian."

"So the risk that she will take him over isn't high? Don't get me wrong, I don't hate children, but we don't have space in the family for one that isn't from this marriage."

The need to defend Wooyoung rose, but Seonghwa remained painfully polite. He swallowed around the mean stabs her words were in his stomach.

"It's equal to zero. We settled on this with the law. Until Wooyoung is old enough to decide for himself, you'll see nothing of him. And even after, he is probably satisfied with his home." At least, Seonghwa hoped so. He would hate if Wooyoung grew up to hate him. That blow would be devastating.

"Good, that's a suitable answer." The way her smile became slightly less thin told Seonghwa everything about her looking down on him. "And what about you? Is there anything remarkable about why she left? Did she mess up, or you?"

They were going in circles. What answer did she need?

"Also because of work. Neither of us made a mistake. Aeri is a nice girl, but her place wasn't with us, it's easy as that. A kid didn't fit in her life at that moment, and neither did a marriage. So she moved on." Seonghwa tried to keep the desperation out of his voice so he wouldn't show how tiring this talk was for him.

"Hm, yes, I see that. That kid would be too much work for me, too." She cast another sneer at poor Wooyoung, who was just enjoying his doughnut. This time, he noticed, and he visibly shrunk at the mean glare. All defences in Seonghwa rose when he saw him lower his eyes to the ground glumly.

"Listen here, lady, I would appreciate it if you stopped talking about him like that. It's not your responsibility to judge another person's child."

She rolled his eyes at him.

"Of course, it is. That child is also the child of my new daughter. I might not judge you, since you don't have ties to her anymore, but the kid is still her flesh and blood. Can't you feed him something healthy? If he continues like this, then his future wife will also leave him."

With an offended gasp, Seonghwa just breathed in to give her the talk of her life when Hongjoong swept in. He finished Wooyoung's food with a big bite after the boy had lost his joy with it after the glare. At the interruption, the woman's feather's ruffled once again.

"Excuse me, but would you stop bullying my family? That would be quite amiable of you." Hongjoong's smile was sugary sweet and completely uncaring of the annoyance on the woman's face. On his side, Wooyoung huddled against his leg while he cleaned his fingers with one of the wipes they always carried around. Seonghwa wanted to help him and ease his mind, but he had to get rid of the witch first.

"I'm bullying nobody, I'm just giving expert advice without charge. Who are you, the boyfriend? Yeah, you look the part."

Hongjoong's smile widened, his fangs flashing. When Seonghwa tried to intervene, Hongjoong merely took his hand to continue grinning dangerously.

"I'm sure I do. May I help with your issue? Just ask what you came for and then go bother someone else. It's embarrassing to bully a kid as a grown adult."

With an offended gasp, she ate a piece of cheese. Regeneration for her stamina?

"Bully a child! As if I needed to do that! Interrupting other people's conversations like that is far ruder! Mister Park, if you would step outside with me for a moment and leave your two companions here-"

"Nope," Hongjoong popped the word with his lips. His warm hand still held Seonghwa close.

"You may step outside on your own. If you need help with your removal, I'll be glad to serve. Now if you would excuse us? We would like to be in better company than this." Hongjoong sneered right back at her without an ounce of respect. Faint, Dean's mother tried to smother him with her eyes.

"What a horrible family. If I learnt anything from this, then that I was too harsh on Aeri. Farewell." She strode off slower than she would have liked. Her companion had to suffer through her never-ending complaints about them.

As soon as she was out of earshot, all tension dropped from Seonghwa's shoulders. He had clutched his paper plate stronger than necessary, and now he released the poor thing from his grip. Hongjoong still sent heated glares after the woman and cursed her under his breath.

When Seonghwa knelt next to Wooyoung, the boy wasn't looking at him. Instead, he studied his shoes and worried his lip between his teeth to hold back the tears that brimmed in his expressive eyes.

"Don't cry, Youngiebear. She was a mean person. Come here." Seonghwa pulled him in for a soft hug that the boy replied to with a pitiful tremble. When they hugged, he tried to hold his breath so Seonghwa wouldn't feel the roundness of his stomach against his chest. Seonghwa's heart broke.

"You're okay as you are, don't listen to her."

Wooyoung quietly sobbed in Seonghwa's shoulder.

"I-I didn't like how she was mean to you, daddy... She looked at you like an evil goat."

Chuckling at the comparison, Seonghwa caressed his hair and soft cheeks with his fingers. He heard Hongjoong talking with San behind him, probably reporting the attack.

"Maybe she was an evil goat in disguise. Do you want to go home?"

Wooyoung nodded with tear-stricken cheeks. When Seonghwa stood up to take his hand, the boy clung onto him vulnerably. Stressed, Hongjoong looked around as if he wanted to rip Dean's mother apart for making them sad.

"I told San, he'll know why we left."

"Alright."

As Seonghwa led Wooyoung and Hongjoong outside, the flower girl curiously peeked at Wooyoung from where she stood next to her parents. When she waved at him, a weak smile tugged on his lips as he waved back.

San caught up with them in a light jog as they reached the parking lot. His worried eyes checked on them.

"Aeri sends her apologies that she couldn't intervene. She will get back to you. Here, you can take the car, I will get home with my housemate later." With an apologetic smile, San handed the keys over. Seonghwa accepted them with a weak smile as he ushered his boys in. While he was glad that Hongjoong had stepped in to protect them, he also felt bad for shining such an unpleasant light on them and in extension Aeri.

"Thanks. Don't bother her too much with it, have a delightful night."

San waved at them until they pulled off. Their stay was near to the venue and by the time they got there, Wooyoung had already calmed. He still pouted and stuck to Hongjoong, though. Seonghwa did his best to raise the mood.

"Should I make some pasta? I bet you're still hungry."

As Seonghwa trudged into the kitchen, Hongjoong caught him at the sleeve.

"I'll make the pasta, you look after Wooyoung. Change into something comfortable, too." The demon's affectionate eyes left no room for discussion. Seonghwa snatched Wooyoung and took him back to their room to switch out his clothes.

"What do you want to wear? The Toothless sweater? Or are you afraid to get tomato juice on it?"

"I'm not hungry," Wooyoung whispered under his breath. He tried to hide it in the collar of his shirt, but Seonghwa heard it anyway. Saddened, he put the boy's jacket down.

"Not at all?"

Seonghwa pulled the Toothless sweater from the pile, knowing fully well that it would lift Wooyoung's mood. He neatly folded the shirt and pants that Wooyoung took off.

"I should eat the gross things you always give me. You say they are good for me."

"You want vegetables?" Seonghwa helped Wooyoung into his sweater and pulled the hood over his head. He picked out some comfortable pants for the boy, too.

"Yes."

"But you don't like those."

Stricken between his want and feeling bad, Wooyoung fiddled with his thumbs. He held onto Seonghwa's shoulders as he helped him step into his pants.

"You don't have to listen to that mean lady. She was evil to me, and you, and Hongjoong. She just didn't like us."

Disbelieving, Wooyoung hesitated still. His little face was pulled into a frown.

"Do you want to call Yunho? He wasn't there, so he has to know best, right? You can get his opinion."

The house started to smell of food heavenly. Wooyoung's resolve gradually splintered.

"Yes, let's call Yunho." With a firm nod, Wooyoung held out his hand for Seonghwa's phone. He handed it over without hesitation and watched the boy unlock it. Yunho's contact was linked with his home screen, so Wooyoung just had to click on his icon to get through. The time difference had Seonghwa wonder if Yunho was currently awake, but he picked up after just a few rings, anyway.

"Hey, honey," Yunho said cheerfully over the phone. His voice instantly brought a smile to both callers' faces.

"This is Wooyoung," Wooyoung introduced himself gravely. Surprised at the seriousness, Yunho giggled over the speaker.

"Hey, Woo. What's up?"

"I have a question."

Talking to Yunho already seemed to ease Wooyoung's mood. Thus, he left the boy to his talk and snatched a cosy pullover on his way out. In the kitchen, Hongjoong stood at the pot and stirred it lazily as Seonghwa came back. The man smacked a thankful kiss on his cheek that had the demon blush and move out of the way to change while Seonghwa checked on everything.

"Thanks for earlier," Seonghwa muttered as he salted the water for the noodles. Hongjoong rustled with his clothes behind him.

"Don't thank me. She agitated you, it was horrible to watch."

Seonghwa shrugged to himself. He wouldn't think about it.

"Her hatred for Wooyoung was worse. What an awful person. I see why Aeri ran into troubles with her." Seonghwa rounded Hongjoong as they switched positions again. He put away Hongjoong's clothes so they wouldn't smell of food too much and then returned to the demon.

"I hope she knows Aeri was honest with her now. May she hate us until all eternity, we never have to see her again."

"Evil mother-in-law cliche, check."

The two giggled amongst themselves. When Wooyoung joined them, he raced into the kitchen excitedly and with Yunho still on the phone.

"Daddy, you were right! Yunho also said I should enjoy the noodles!" Full of energy, he handed the phone to him before he opened all closets and drawers to search for dishes. Chuckling, Seonghwa shut the speaker off and rose the phone to his ear.

"Told you dads are always right." He stirred the water until he got pushed aside by Hongjoong again. The demon smiled as he opened the glass of tomato sauce without a struggle.

"Sorry if we possibly disturbed your sleep, Yunho," Seonghwa sat down at the table and directed Wooyoung's hurrying with silent gestures and beckons. Cheerful, the boy did as he was told and giggled as if it were a secret that he was there.

"It's fine, I was already awake. What happened? I didn't catch everything."

"Ah, just a petty fight. Dean's mother was being mean to us, and Hongjoong had to step in and growl at her. She made Woo feel bad about eating sweets."

"What a b-word. I also would have growled at her." Yet, he sounded relieved that they had resolved the issue. Over at the sink, Hongjoong poured off their noodles and dumped the sauce in. Thrumming with excitement at the idea of food, Wooyoung hopped on his seat opposite Seonghwa.

"I'm honoured to have not only one but an entire pack of angry wolves as my family. That's reassuring."

Yunho snickered.

"Eat and then get some sleep. We can talk later."

"Will do. Love you, Yunho."

"Love you, too. Enjoy your food."

They ended the call so Seonghwa and the other two could appreciate their meal. And Wooyoung ate with no abandon, relishing every bite.

-

Aeri apologised about Dean's family the day after and brought them a huge chunk of the wedding cake. She also presented a gift card for online shopping as a means of saying sorry. Seonghwa assured her that everybody was fine. They talked about everything and nothing as they wandered around the lake. Wooyoung and Hongjoong had stayed back to play.

They would travel back the day after since Wooyoung had to return to his last few weeks of kindergarten before the next holidays. Aeri was delighted to hear about his progress in studying and reminded Seonghwa to tell her if she ever needed her to send books over or anything.

They parted on positive grounds, and Seonghwa wished her good luck with her upcoming projects. Hongjoong and Wooyoung had also smiled brightly when they said bye.

The flight back was as exhausting as it had been the first time, too. Yunho picked them up from the airport and Seonghwa nearly collapsed into his arm from how fatigued he felt after the short but stressful trip. On their ride back, he fell asleep in the passenger seat while Yunho talked with Hongjoong and Wooyoung.

Yunho tried to carry him into the house and his bed sneakily, but the jostling woke Seonghwa, anyway. With a tired smile, he stumbled alongside the man.

"Get some rest. We'll take care of everything." Hongjoong's bright smile relieved Seonghwa. Five minutes later, he was out like a light in his own comfortable bed. He didn't even wake up when Hongjoong crawled in with him later to snuggle up to him. Only when Seonghwa woke back up in the middle of the night, he noticed the heated body of the demon that was pressed against him.

He slept some more. At 3 in the morning, he woke fully rested. Hongjoong had disappeared again, and the house laid quiet.

Sighing, Seonghwa wrapped himself in a thin blanket and stumbled around in the dark, searching for his shoes. Once he found them, he shuffled outside. He could get some snacks and a drink from the kitchen and do some work. No hours of the day were quieter than these, while everybody was blissfully asleep.

However, as he reached the bottom of the stairs, a faint sound reached his ears. A gasp, then a moan. It sounded suspiciously like Hongjoong.

Seonghwa ditched the kitchen in favour of going over to the living room. As he peeked around the corner, the faint light of the weak LEDs lit the scene.

Yunho sat on the couch, leaned back and with his legs spread to find purchase on the ground. He was mostly clothed safe for the part that connected him to Hongjoong. In comparison, the boy on his lap wore only the bodysuit he loved so much. With trembling thighs, he rode Yunho with his back to him. The man's tall hands splayed over the demon's chest and fondled and squeezed it, eliciting those sweet sounds.

Seonghwa swallowed at the sight, at the way that the light shone on Hongjoong's starry body, and hugged his curves. His head drooped heavily when the weight of his horns became too heavy for him to bear, and his clawed hands desperately dug into Yunho's knees.

He looked tiny, so very dwarfed by Yunho's big body beneath him.

Seonghwa's eyes fell on Hongjoong's prettily shaped dick and the way it curved up against his stomach. It leaked those precious drops that Seonghwa desired so much and let them all go to waste on Yunho's pants.

With steely resolution, Seonghwa stepped into the room. He left his blanket on the shelf next to the door as he joined them on their little spot.

Yunho's heavy gaze found him first, and he grinned lazily at him. Until Seonghwa knelt in front of him on the carpet and reached out his hand for him, Hongjoong didn't even notice him. As soon as he felt the warm mouth around his tip, however, his eyes flew open.

"Hwa-"

Wordless, Seonghwa stared up at him, waiting for what he had to say. Hongjoong shook and trembled as he settled into a rhythm that both filled him inside and pushed him against the hands and lips on him.

Seonghwa relaxed in his place as he enjoyed the taste of Hongjoong spreading on his tongue. By now, he had a bit more practice with the demon and knew what to expect from the sweet drug he carried. He didn't black out anymore even when the full potent liquid entered his body. Yet, he still craved it like heroin.

Hongjoong's jerky movements above had Yunho chuckle low in his throat. When Seonghwa reached up to also roam his body with his hands and press the fabric of the bodysuit against him, Hongjoong's trembling got worse. Ultimately, he had to push one hand into Seonghwa's hair to regain some sort of control over the situation.

"Aren't you so vocal usually, little demon? What's up with being so quiet today? Cat's got your tongue? Or is Hwa's tongue game just that good that you forgot how to speak?"

Hongjoong heaved for a breath when Yunho released his chest to push him down by his hips instead. Every deep thrust had Hongjoong arch his back to accommodate Yunho inside. When just a weak noise escaped his lips as an answer, Seonghwa chuckled around him.

"I think our demon boy might be in heat, Hwa. He's been so good for a while now."

The compliment racked another shudder through Hongjoong's heated and sensitive body. Seonghwa pulled back from him to talk. Still, he jerked him off loosely with one hand while the other palmed his growing hardness in his sleeping pants.

"Maybe so. Or the plan he's currently working on has a larger scale than we expect."

Hongjoong's indignant huff sounded more like himself. Then, his eyes rolled back again when he dropped on Yunho entirely. His erratic movements lost their grace and rhythm. He chased after his orgasm, so Seonghwa took mercy on him. He dipped down on him again to take him far into his throat and let the demon thrust into it at the speed he desired to get off. The leaking tip coated Seonghwa's mouth with that unique taste.

Hongjoong came when Yunho reached for his chest again. The fabric on his nipples made them extra sensitive to the flicks of Yunho's fingers. All too soon, Hongjoong threw his horned head back against the man's broad shoulder. Seonghwa didn't pull off him until he had swallowed everything and Hongjoong stilled on Yunho. Trembling, he clutched onto Yunho's thighs as the sheer fullness inside of him had him squirm.

"Be good, Hongjoong. Get on your knees and show your pretty tits to Hwa."

With a whine, Hongjoong obeyed. He slid off Yunho's lap to push Seonghwa down on the ground. On his hands and knees, he hovered above his middle. Once he had adjusted to kneel over Seonghwa's legs, he used his hands to push his perky chest together. At the first touch of him rubbing up the small cleft against Seonghwa, the man's breath hitched. The fabric of his bodysuit created tickling sensations that had Seonghwa's breath quicken fast. Drunken on demon seed and the view of Hongjoong oh so deliberately jerking him off with his sensitive chest, Seonghwa spiralled quickly.

Yunho came after them to sit behind Hongjoong once more. He guided his length inside the demon to reach his peak as well. Once more, Hongjoong was at his mercy. Every thrust of Yunho's rubbed Hongjoong against Seonghwa.

"Pretty, Joong, you look very pretty." Seonghwa watched him with awe. The demon balanced the two of them so well and took Yunho like a champion. The praise had his lashes flutter submissively.

Seonghwa grabbed his horns to pull him off after a while, not able to bear the teasing of the fabric any longer. He didn't know how Hongjoong wore it over his chest and without underwear the whole day long, but that would remain a secret. When Seonghwa sat up to kiss his demon, the change of angle that speared him on Yunho forced a hiccough out of Hongjoong. With barely any concentration, he replied to Seonghwa's kiss. Slick and hot, their tongues tangled to share the taste of Hongjoong that still lingered on Seonghwa's lips.

"What do you say, Hwa? Shall we try to fit you inside here, too, or open you up for him?"

Both ideas sounded attractive to Seonghwa. Yet, he couldn't overhear the way Hongjoong's breath hitched at the first suggestion. Kneeling before him, Seonghwa carefully studied Hongjoong's face that was contorted with pleasure and bliss.

"Is that what you want, Joongie? Both of us inside?"

At his weak nod, Seonghwa reached down to feel for the connection to Yunho's body. From the natural slick that Hongjoong's body produced, Seonghwa's finger slid in easily. The fit was tight even as Yunho thrust alongside his hand to loosen the demon up.

"Will you get hurt?"

Overwhelmed, Hongjoong shook his head. He tried to form words, but none seemed to come to his mind. Instead, he just shook his head again.

At his elaborate answer, both males had to laugh. Then Yunho pushed Seonghwa back down on the ground by his shoulder. He placed Hongjoong between them as he knelt above Seonghwa's thighs. The demon sighed pleasedly when his arousal brushed Seonghwa's.

Seonghwa ran his fingers down his starry skin and his suit. Then, he pushed two fingers inside the demon along with Yunho. The muscle welcomed them easily.

"Tell me if I need to stop or slow down." Worried for his lover, Seonghwa searched Hongjoong's gaze first before he aligned himself. The demon nodded jerkily.

Seonghwa's intrusion into his body was more difficult than usual, but thanks to his slick it worked just as well. Nothing but quiet whimpers and moans came from Hongjoong all the way until he bottomed out. Yunho had clenched his eyes shut at the shift of pressure, too.

Seonghwa's hands travelled over Hongjoong's body, patting his hips, squeezing his chest and massaging down to his thighs. Responsive to his every touch, Hongjoong leaned into him willingly.

As they found their rhythm, Seonghwa and Yunho altered in their thrusts. While Yunho held Hongjoong in place on his shoulders, he always pulled out just when Seonghwa pushed in. The friction between them and Hongjoong's velvety walls was heavenly.

Seonghwa played with that gorgeous chest, splaying his fingers over it and teasing his nipples. Both he and Yunho were pent up, and they tried hard to be quiet even as they neared their orgasms at a steady speed.

Hongjoong circled his hips for them, adding just a bit more spice into the mix. Every breath from his mouth was rough and staccato with their ministrations.

Ultimately, Hongjoong came first when Seonghwa reached to help him out. His come splattered over their stomachs and Seonghwa liked it off his fingers lazily. When Yunho came first, Seonghwa stayed inside still to finish there, too, but the mixture of come and slick trickled down Hongjoong's thighs and over their middles.

Only when Seonghwa also peaked after a few minutes, they all could settle down. When Hongjoong nearly got squished between their bodies, he let out a warning shriek. Amused, Yunho picked him up with him.

Seonghwa followed them quietly and sticky with fluids and sweat. Before they left for the bathroom, he opened all windows to let the smell out.

While Yunho and Hongjoong squeezed together in the bathtub, Seonghwa took a shower in the cubicle next to them. They could talk loudly here since the room had good proofing.

"You did well today. Your suit really looks great on you." Yunho murmured towards the demon as he washed his hair. Leaning against his chest, satisfied like a cat, Hongjoong let him. The two of them soaked for a while, Hongjoong purring contently and Yunho taking care of getting the two of them cleaned up. When Seonghwa shut the water off, the two of them also gradually moved.

At the sight of seeing Yunho rinse out Hongjoong's hair, Seonghwa had to smile gently. Yunho mirrored the expression playfully.

However, even once they finished, Hongjoong was too comfortable to move. Seonghwa - wrapped into his bathrobe - snickered at his behaviour.

"You won't come out?"

"Yunho can carry me again."

"If Yunho carried you, he might slip and crack both of your heads open."

Still, Hongjoong persisted. Nothing moved until Yunho actually stood up and heaved him out of the tub. Like a princess, Hongjoong let him as he ruffled the demon's hair with a towel and wrapped him in a larger one so he wouldn't get cold.

"What do you say?" Seonghwa grinned at Hongjoong. His taunting had the man snap open his eyes to glare at him. His internal hisses to shut up fell on deaf ears.

"Come on, Wooyoung is better at this than you."

Huffing, Hongjoong twisted his head away. His pout made Yunho facepalm where he just slipped into his joggers from earlier. They rode low on his hips, giving away that he wore nothing beneath.

"Hmpf. Thanks." Hongjoong stared at the wall intensely with his arms crossed. Seonghwa shook his head at him.

"No good. Try again." Yunho stood in front of him to tap his cheek. At Hongjoong's blush, his smirk broadened.

After another tense minute, Hongjoong sprung to his feet. In a flash, he tiptoed to press his lips to Yunho's cheek. Then he stomped off while muttering under his breath. Seonghwa looked at his retreating form affectionately.

"I count that as a win." Yunho high-fived Seonghwa before they went downstairs to return to their daily life. Wooyoung would wake up soon and be hungry. And he would get to eat all the dishes he loved.
