It's easy to feel sorry for him, but the hardships that he endured as a child, molded him into the person he is today. He'll be fine, the Host Club is his refuge, which means when all is said and done... he still has us." - Kyouya Ootori

Sometimes you think if things could get any worse...and you remember they absolutely can.
Me and Haruhi are giving eachother awkward glances as the twins sat on the opposite sides of us...with, you guessed it, pink and blue hair. The classroom erupted into gasps and chatter as soon as the twins walked into the room.
My only question is..why pink and blue? Out of all the colors in the rainbow?
That didn't stop their comments from sliding, Kaoru snarls and leans into my ear. Pretending to whisper but boosting his voice, "I was finally able to have an elegant sleep alone last night, but I had a bad dream. A dream about dying my hair pink... something disgusting like that. Hahaha..."
Irritated now, Hikaru kicks the chair out from under him. Kaoru lands on the floor. Kaoru lunges at his brother and now it's his turn to pull out Hikaru's chair. Hikaru falls to his side. The twins breefly glare at eachother before items start flying.
It doesn't stop. But even the teacher said anything, not when I asked, not even when Haruhi cried.
This followed us from the classroom, to our lockers, and even to the cafeteria. It would've followed us to the bathroom if I didn't actually lose my shit.
I pulled out my lunchbox and followed my own twin to the clubs official reserved table. I sat next to her, the other hosts were already seated. She tisked and gave me little prepoured medication in a tiny cup. They had caps on them, one was red and another was blue, on top was a vitamin gummie that she also took.
My eyes never left the twins. They were ordering their foods at the front of the cafeteria. "Lunch set A." They stopped and chose another one. "Ngh... I'll take the B pasta and D salad! Ngh... No, the Cappellini and Barbary duck from F. Nevermind, a foie-gras poele with perigueux sauce! Stop copying me! I said stop copying me! Grrr..."
"Amazing..." she gestured to the rests of the host club who was more concerned with their foods. "They're fighting with gritted teeth."
I popped the gummie, "Hmm, that must be a hidden talent or somethin'"
"Oh. I thought it was unusually noisy here. You two are still fighting? You guys are a disgrace to the Host Club." Tamaki stood up.
We watched Honni jump out of his seat with a peace of comically large slice of cake.
"Okay, stop right there! Double punishment for fighting!" It takes him a minute to actually reach the twins balancing the cake. Mori slowly follows him. "Fufu~! Hika-chan and Kao-chan will each have half of this cake and makeup with each other. Okay? Ahh, but I want to eat, too, so we'll have to split it in three.... The strawberry you can't divide, so what will we do? Can I have it? Since I like strawberries, that's okay, right? Ah, but... Hika-chan, Kao-chan, do you like strawberries?"
And Que strong and handsome. Mori comes and removes Honey from between Hikaru and Kaoru.
"You're only making things worse, so stop it." He plops his cousin at the table.
"What are you two doing here however?" Tamaki asked. I guess it is rare for all of us to be at the same table together at lunch.
Haruhi scowled. "I'm worried about these two, so I tagged along before I knew it. I wanted to eat in the classroom because I have a bento box, though."
Tamaki's eyes "Ah... A bento...?" Then he started mumbling about something and us making him a bento box...?
Whatever, the twins came back to the table irritated as fuck. They tried offering to switch foods with Haruhi and i, but I shot it down really quickly. I needed my medicine, as much as I forget to take it, today I wasn't feeling all too well.
Haruhi actually thought differently and took Hikaru's bento box. She slid me a few bites of whatever the fuck is in it before the twins started to argue over which lunchbox Haruhi should eat.
"I'll give you my lunch set everyday if you want it, Haruhi."
Kaoru rolled his eyes, showing her his plate. "Does it taste good? Have some of mine, then. Here. Ahh..."
Kaoru offers a spoon of jelly to Haruhi, but Hikaru eats it before Haruhi does.
"Excuse me, but go away. She's enjoying my dish."
"Barely."
"Ngh!"
Kaoru flares his nostrils. He picks up and chucks a dish of could soup at Hikaru. Hikaru quickly blocks it with Tamaki. The lunchroom falls silent. The bowl falls to the ground before Hikaru and Kaoru begin throwing things across the room again.
Honey ends up in the air again, so Mori goes in after him. He is also thrown across the room. Soon Tamaki is thrown ALSO into the fray. Haruhi sighed and gestured for me to follow her out of the lunchroom. She picked up her bento box.
I tried picking up my bento box but it got tossed across the room before I could do anything about it. Haruhi and I watched in horror as the liquid medicine was splashed across both of their faces.
Haruhi actually got irritated at the two of them, like really fucking pissed. She cursed them off as we walked to the nurses office. I actually decided to lay down there a bit, I thought I was going to pass out or something.
I stayed there the rest of the day as my dad frantically gave me my medicine. Kyouya senpai actually directed him to my direction. They...were awfully buddy buddy.
"Bye bye honey! Mr Otori here will bring you back to the club!" My dad waved me off with the spawn of satin.
The walk back was quiet but not uncomfortable.
You know, he's not that bad honestly.
We arrived at the club only a few minutes later, I still felt a little woozy so I decided to take a seat next to Tamaki. Tamaki was more than happy to have me by his side, giving me unwanted hugs and trying to feed me some of Haruhis lunch.
"If this situation goes on, we'll be forced to stop selling the brotherly love. Designation rates will definitely be down." Kyouya confirmed. "Oh, you don't have to feel responsible for anything, Haruhi, even if the reason for their fight was because of your one thoughtless little comment. Okay?"
'Ha, he's clearly blaming haruhi.'
"I don't care, I'm mad at them for knocking over Y/n's medicine..."
"But still!" Honey spoke up, "This is the first time that Hika-chan and Kao-chan have fought, right?"
"Yeah." Mori confirmed.
"Really? I've known Haru all my life and we get into mini arguments." I asked.
"Barely, they would be over within a brief couple of seconds...they've been arguing for hours."
Honi shook his head, "Mhm! I've known them since kindergarten. Even though I hadn't talked to them since we were in different grades, those two have always played by themselves."
"Yeah... I've only ever known them since middle school, and they were pretty odd. It was as if they wouldn't let anyone get close to them except themselves. Their personalities were many times odder compared to now. So if you think about it this way, fighting might be a good direction for them. Doesn't it mean that their world is getting wider now? Right now, letting them be might be the best thing to do." Tamaki huffed.
"No way you dropped straight knowledge on us. Why haven't you been using this side of your brain before—?"
"—I'm insulted, Y/N! Everyday I use my brain!"
"Is this really a good direction? But if it's their first fight, doesn't that make it more important for someone to be there and tell them when to stop?" Haruhi asked as she finished up her bento box. "They probably don't even know how to make up to each other."
I just payed that they keep quiet finally and stop arguing—- but things could never go my way.
They continued bickering all the way up to the Host Club. The twins constantly threw things at each other left and right until there's nothing left to throw. Their hands were red, hunched over, their eyes screamed tiredness. They were both breathing heavily.
Tamaki stepped in to scowl them. "Even after this much fighting, you guys still aren't satisfied? You troublesome siblings."
"Troublesome?" Hikaru asked. "Troublesome, you say?! You've got to be kidding me. I'm the troubled one, having an identical face to Kaoru... I'm tired of being mistaken for you, and the truth is that I really hate you!"
"Ngh... That's my line. Look, the voodoo doll I bought from Nekozawa-senpai, Beelzenef!" Kaoru pulls out a voodoo doll Beelzenef.
Tamaki lets out a girlish scream.
The blue hair twin pointed to his counterpart. "I'll write your name on the back of this doll. From now on, you'll be hit with a lot of misfortunes and tragedies!"
Just as Kaoru finished writing on the back of the Beelzenef doll. Haruhi squan dives in and punches Hikaru and Kaoru on the top of their heads.
"Enough already!" She takes the doll out of the twins hands. "Don't bring something like this into a trivial fight! Both of you are at fault in this fight, and what's worse is that you're troubling everyone else around you, too! You bothered me in the hallways, classroom and even cafeteria with your bickering! You even spilled over Y/N's medicine and didn't even bother to apologize!"
"We did?" They asked in harmony. I gave them a thumbs up as an affirmation.
"You did! Make up with each other already! If you don't make up right now, I'll never let you guys visit my home!"
Hikaru and Kaoru grin. "So if we make up, then we can go to your home?"
Hikaru and Kaoru put their arms over each other's shoulders and look down over Haruhi. They gesture to the Beelzenef doll. Haruhi turns the voodoo doll around. 'Fail' is written on the back. This caused Hikaru and Kaoru to high-five and hug each other.
"I'm sorry, Kaoru. Even if we went by our scenario, I fail as an elder brother for saying such horrible things to you."
"Don't say that! I was so worried about inflicting any injuries on you..."
"Kaoru! I'm not letting you go anymore!"
"Hikaru!"
"What, this was a fake fight?!" I asked. There was no way even I was fooled, man this headache is worsening by the minute...
In the end, the twins actually pulled a one up over the two of us. I couldn't help but feel a little embarrassed. They pulled an entire fake plan just to be able to step foot in our house.
The following days were interesting however.
"All right! Time for the 'Which one is Hikaru-kun' game!" They chimed together.
Hina, their usual customer, laughed awkwardly. "Umm... The pink-haired one is Hikaru-kun?"
"Bingo!"
"Your hair colors will stay like that even after making up, huh? But I'm happy that it's easy for us to tell now." The female next to her, Kozue, sighed.
"Nuh uh. You're wrong." I jumped in the middle of them. Pulling them down to my height.
Haruhi picked up a few cups that were in the table. "Kaoru is the pink one today, and Hikaru is the blue one."
"You see ladies." I pulled the twins closer to me. "Me and Haru-kun as twins could easily see through their disguise You guys switched colors, right?"
"Y/n stop slacking off. Hurry up and help me."
I scoffed at my sister, "I thought we weren't errand boys anymore!"
