Tonight, Rune and I are heading to Midnight Phantom Club since his friends already discovered he is back. And they didn't stop until Rune finally agrees to meet up with them. Well, he should really go out with them since it's been so long since they last seen each other.

I should tag along since they deserve a boys' night out but Rune insists me to come.

"I shouldn't be here. You deserve a time alone with them." I told him, while crossing my arms. "And don't worry, I trust you that you will not let a woman grind between you."

"Wipe that frown off already, my lady." Rune stated, his eyes are still on the road and I know he can sense me glaring at his direction. "I am not comfortable that you're alone tonight."

"I have been sleeping alone at night these past two years, idiot." I scoffed, turning my eyes away from him and gaze outside the window.

"And those are enough. I don't want you to be alone when you sleep at night."

"It doesn't make any sense!" I retorted which he only answer with a loud laugh.

I don't want to ruin their night out though. Sometimes they need especially tonight. When we arrived at the club,  since he had his own private parking space, it was easier for us to get in. Well, he's a VIP guest. He's the best friend of the owner.

Rune held my hand as he head in to reach the place strictly only for them.

When we got there, everyone was gathered up and they all cheered happily seeing Rune enter.

"There's the one who is going to pay for all of the drinks!" Stephan cracked causing everyone to laugh. They all came to Rune and give him a manly hug while he didn't even try to let my hand go. Like they are tied together.

"Hey, Jas." Zephyr playfully messed my hair.

"Hey, sorry if I have to barge in your party. Rune didn't want me out of his sight." I explained causing them to make a teasing sound.

"Nah, it's alright. We all know how much Rune misses you. I'm sure you two will be glued to each other for a long time." Stephan joked.

It is actually only Stephan, Zephyr, Rune, Xavier and a new face in the the group. I haven't seen Lucas lately though so it is actually weird. And without him, these bachelors surely are different. Their bond is the one that is sticking them closer and making their friendship even stronger. And I can see how they value each other too.

"Xavier, its been a decade since I last saw you. Damn, you're getting look a lot older." Rune playfully punched him on the tummy, hardly.

"Coming from the the oldest man in the group." Xavier rolled his eyes and slapped the back of his head.

"At least I'm not the one who got dumped by  the same woman twice." Rune retorted back in a whisper causing another loud cheer.

"You got burn!" The new man teased while grabbing this green drink that was on the table.

"You're the one to talk, Caius. You're secretly dating a woman who is twice our age." Xavier retorted back at him.

"I'm not secretly dating her, dumbass. I am dating her." This Caius corrected then bursted out laughing.

"Sorry about my friends, my lady." Rune whispered at my ear before taking the lovers couch for the two of us. "So, you invited me over in this club just to tell me all of these nonsense things happening to your lives?"

"Don't be like that, Rune. Just because you have your women beside you, you are going to act tough?" They playfully hissed at him.

"Morons." I heard him muttered under his breath.

A waitress went to us then asks to get our order. "Order anything you want, dude. It's all on me."

"Then I want the most expensive champagne you have. It's very unusual for you to pay for everything." Rune retorted. He ordered some spicy onion rings, some chicken lollipops and many more that I lost count. It seems like they are all celebrating for his return.

All of them are having fun, Rune barely lets go off me and I'm getting embarrassed when he is trying to be sweet it to me in front of the guys. Its making me blush.

"Anyway, what is your position now at the Royals?" Stephan questioned. "I'm sure there is something good in return after your last service there that took you two years to be done."

"I was moved up to the intelligence group now. Where my role is like the second in command of the Chief. I will be in charge of the plan of action mostly. And also, it means that I will no longer be doing field missions." He proudly announced. "I will be staying in an office from now on."

My eyes lights up hearing that. "Does that mean that you won't be leaving?"

"Yes, my lady. I will stay right here with you. No one is gonna make me separately from you now." He told me, huskily and he was about to lean in closer to give me a kiss but as it was half way, we were interpreted by the men as they cheered loudly.

"Oh come on, you two. Cant you wait for tonight?" Zephyr messed up Rune's hair. "And because our friend will no longer put his life in danger, we have to celebrate harder!" He shouted and ordered more drinks.

The lads just partied like no one is allowed to be here.

Jeez, I'm guessing no one is going to leave this club sober. I didn't went into that bitchy over protected girlfriend who only wants to his boyfriend on her side. No, I let him party and drink with his friends. He needs that anyway.

"Hey, I'll just go to the ladies' room. Be back in a minutes." I whispered at Rune.

"I will walk you there—"

"—No, you stay here. I can handle it on my own." I pushed her down on his seat then made my way to the restroom. There aren't that much lady in there but it took me time to come back.

As I was heading out, a man wearing black shades was standing at the corner and seems to be one of the customers here in the club who sure is drunk and it appears that he knows me.

"Oh my God, Jasmine Waylord?" He seems to be so shock to see me. His eyes were so wide open as he gazes at me. "Shit, can I have a picture with you? Just one?"

"Erm...sure." I agreed. One picture won't hurt and there is nothing wrong. A friend of his came over and took his phone to use its camera. I carefully stood next to the drunk man as he tried to place a hand on my waist for the shot. It was quick yet I badly want to push him off me. He smells so bad.

"Thank you!" The man bows his head. "Shit, i can't believe that I just Jasmine Waylord here in this club. I am so lucky."

"Jasmine." I heard a strong and low tone of manly voice. I raised my head to see Rune standing a few meters away from us and he doesn't have a smile on his face.

"Hi, um...this man just asks for a picture." I tried to explain then moved away a little to the old man.

"It's done now, right? Let's go." He quickly grabs my wrist but not harshly, he just pulls me towards him and possessively places an arm around my waist, the act just gives him the meaning that he is protecting from the men. He didn't look back and just took me to the lads once again.

"That man is surely lusting over you, my lady." He told me, "and I hate to see other guys looking at you like that. I just can't agree with it."

I chuckled at his reaction causing me to pinch the frown he had between his brows. "That's what you get for having a supermodel as your girlfriend, my love. But, there is no need for you to worry about it."

"Damn, if you could just quit your job but I won't let you." He pulled me closer to him, as he placed a hand on my cheek. "Because I know this is what makes you happy."

"Awe, Rune. That is so sweet." Stephan and the others was listening to us the whole time and they made a whistling sound.

"Shut up!" Rune tossed them a glass.

Luckily, Zephyr was able to catch it with one hand and made a stern look. "Hey, watch it!" He hissed, placing the glass down carefully. "You'll pay me if you try breaking even if it is a single shot glass. Double the price."

Xavier just shook his head then continued drinking. "You guys still haven't changed."

"You talk like an old man." Caius shot at him with an amused smile.

"Come on, let's dance." Rune made me stand up as he escorts me downstairs to the huge dance floor, which is filled up with people who are seems to be having fun.

Rune and I started dancing and I'm surprised to see that he is actually a good one. Well, I've seen him dance in St. Dominique at the Starry Night. Oh, I miss that moment. We didn't dance too wildly, yet we kept on laughing the whole dance.

It was already 2 in the morning when we decided to go home. Stephan went home first since he still has work by sun rise and he's afraid that his wife might skin him alive if he didn't go home. For Xavier and Caius, I do not have a clue how they left. Too bad that I didn't got to know them more since I've seen how strong their friendship is.

Stephan stayed with me the whole time, he didn't left my side as I expected. But I didn't mind though, he had an amazing and beautiful house but I didn't want to abandon this mansion.  This is Dad's home anyway but I'm sure Rune and I will talk about it once we get there. But for now, we should focus more on ourselves and making up the lost times that we had.

"I love you, my lady." Rune whispered in my ear when we are about to sleep in my room.

I wrapped my arms around his bare waist and tugged myself closer to his heat. "I love you more." I whispered back since I'm already sleepy.

"That's impossible." He chuckled, deeply then placed a soft and long kiss on my forehead. "My love for you is stronger than anyone. And you will be mine forever." He placed his hot palm on my naked back as he  traced his long fingers on it in circles, slowly drifting me to sleep.

Once again, I'm in his arms. Feeling safe and feeling warm. This is the best feeling ever.
