"Hey.", is the first thing I hear on my wedding day, "Jyn, get up."

I turn around groggily and open one eye to see Leia looking down at me in her bed.

"What?", I say, still half asleep.

"Your getting married today, that's what.", she says and tries to shake me awake.

We both laugh and I jump out of bed with a sudden burst of energy.

"I'm getting married today!", I scream and hear all the girls groan and moan awake.

"Aw. He looks so cute.", comments Shami, looking over Leia's shoulder at the handsomely clad little Ben.

I look around and see all the girls wearing their best for today and I couldn't ask for more. I don't give a shit that they aren't all dressed the same or that there aren't 3,000 people attending my wedding or that we aren't having a huge reception.

I only care about having my new family by my side as I am eternally tied to the love of my life. That's all I want.

Leia had just finished doing my hair when it is time to put on my dress.

"Ok, so we will meet you guys there.", says carrie as the girls begin to file out of Leia's quarters.

"Alright, I see you guys there.", I reply and hear a sea of replies from them.

Leia closes the door, puts Ben in his crib, and gets my dress from her closet.

"Shami did an amazing job with the dress. I can't wait to see it on you."

"I know. I'm so happen with how it came out.", I say, walking over to the bathroom and easily slipping on the white dress.

I look into the full length mirror in awe. I barely ever take a second glance at my appearance but then again, I never wear dresses.

The dress is floor length with a simple lace pattern. Its off-the-shoulder design shows off my collar bone and shoulders. It also has beautiful flowy sleeves that end around my elbow crease. My hair is in a simply half-up-half-down do and a sort of necklace adorns my body. It goes from around my neck to all the way around my hips. It is Leia's and she says she has had it since her days as a true reigning princess. It truly suits my dress and reminds me of something the famed Padmè Amidala would have worn, such a stylish women as I have heard from stories.

My lost gaze is broken by a bang on the door.

"You done? I wanna see!", say Leia, her voice muffled by the door between us.

I open the door with a grin on my face.

"Oh, my Force.", whispers Leia, covering her mouth with her hands, tears in her eyes, "You look so beautiful."

"Thanks.", I blush, "Stop crying, you're gonna mess up your makeup."

"Oh, shit.", says Leia, looking up to prevent the tears from falling down her face.

"Well, we have everything?", I ask, looking around.

"Yup. Its time, Jyn.", she says with a smile as she goes over to the crib and scoops up Ben.

Cassian's POV

"How do I look?", I say to K2, looking at my reflection in the mirror.

I smooth down my official Captain's uniform which is only used for special ceremonies and occasions. I can't even remember the last time I wore this.

"I don't understand why humans are so attached to their physical appearance.", says K2.

"Neither do I.", I say truthfully.

Well I do look quite nice, if I do say so myself.

My tan suit is a button down with a tight collar. It is ornate with my many medals of achievements. In military talk, you could say I am quite "decorated" for my age. That's what happens when you've been in the Resistance for as long as I have.

My hair is slicked back in a way I never wear it and it actually looks really good. I don't know why I never do it like this. Well...I never actually "do" my hair. I don't have time!

"Hey, Captain Sexypants, it's time to get hitched.", says Han, poking his head into the room.

"Ok, um...", I say, looking around for anything I need.

Chewbacca then sends me a loud roar, telling me to stop worrying and go.

"I know, I know. I'm just a little nervous.", I say, tapping my leg.

"You'll be fine! Do you love her?", asks Han.

I nod.

"Then what are you worried about?!", he yells throwing his hands in the air, "Now c'mon, we've gotta get there before Jyn!"

We all shuffle out of the my room and I let Han's words swirl around in my brain.

I'm ready for this step forward.

Jyn's POV

As we approach the plaque outside of the base, I get smiles and congratulations from many rebels.

Everyone here shows a kindness I have never experienced in my life before the Rebellion. It is so refreshing.

My nerves make me nauseous as we get closer and closer to the memorial plaque. That is, until I see all my friends and finally, Cassian.

My knees feel weak just at the sight of him.

All of a sudden, my nerves are forgotten as I enter the pathway and stand under the arch built in front of the plaque for Cassian and I to stand under. The beautiful arch is decorated with white ribbon and cloth.

The world becomes a blur as I stare into his beautiful brown eyes and he stares into my green ones.

Leia hands Ben over to Han and stand behind us under the arch, ready to initiate this marriage.

Everyone is beaming with happiness and I'm glad we decided on a more private weeding with only our close friends.

I see Han, Chewie, Luke, K-2SO, General Draven, Mon Mothma, and all my other friends.

We are about 16 in total in an intimate ceremony.

Delicate white flowers adorn the trees that bring shade to our area.

Leia commences the ceremony, breaking my gaze at the handsome Cassian in his military uniform.

"Today, by the power vested in me by the Force and as my position as General of the military forces of the Galactic Resistance, Captain Cassian Andor and Commander Jyn Erso will be joined in matrimony. Now we will commence the ceremony.", she begins.

She spends the next several minutes reading from the official text used for marriage under the matrimonial laws of the former Galactic Republic, which is still followed by the Resistance.

Cassian and I don't listen to any of it, simply grinning at each other and mouthing things to eachother.

You look so handsome, I mouth. 

I see a faint blush on his cheeks as he looks down with a small smile.

You look amazing, he mouths back.

We are interrupted by Leia who says, "Alright, now it is time for the bride and groom's vows."

She signals for us to start.

I give Cassian's hand a little squeeze, telling him to go first.

"Jyn, you are an incredible woman. You have single handedly changed me as a person and have shown me the power of love and how to open up more to the people in my life. I always thought I would live and die for the cause and that would be it but , man, was I wrong. And thank the Force I was. Not only are you the love of my life but also my mission partner and I could never ask for anyone better, other than K2 of course.", he says, everyone giggling. K2 would smile if he could, I'm sure.

"What we have is so special and unique. We understand each other and have been through things together than barely anyone has. We have survived through an incredible tragedy and I thank the Force everyday that we are still alive because if not, I wouldn't be able to be here with you today. So thank you. Thank you for saving my life. I love you, Stardust.", he finishes.

I feel my eyes water up with tears as he spills his emotions to me, something that is rare in him. It takes a lot of courage to say all that in front of people you fight along side, trying to look tough all the time.

And now it is my turn. I have gone over this moment in my head a countless amount of times.

"Cassian, I've never trusted any man other than my father before you. At such a young age, I was hardened by my experiences and struggles. I walked into that room when I first saw you thinking this would be my first and last encounter with the Rebellion and that would be it...that I would move on with my life, alone. But by the grace of the Force, I was united with you on a crazy journey that would break my heart and mend it at the same time.", I start, knowing that my heart was speaking loud and clear and I saw tears in his eyes as well as many of the girls, the guys trying to hold them in in the name of manliness.

"I never cared about finding love. I never thought I would find it in times like these. And especially not with you, a serious, tough soldier. And yet, here I am. We've made it through, even after facing death multiple times, even after facing hard decisions. We are still here and we may only have each other but you now what? That's all I need. I love you, Cass.", I say with a wide smile and a squeeze of his hands.

"Ok...by the power vested in me by the Force and the laws of the former Galactic Republic and current Galactic Resistance, I now pronounce you, husband and wife.", says Leia, wiping away her tears, "You may now kiss the bride."

Cassian and I hug each other tightly as our lips meet in a passionate kiss, relief taking over my body at finally being tied with him.

Our friends cheer and clap, celebrating our union in love.

We break the kiss and I hug him with all the love in my body, desperate to hold my new husband.

He gives me and soft kiss of my cheek with his equally soft lips, remaining in the tight hug.

"I love you...so much.", I whisper in his ear.

"I know.", he says back.

"Hey, that's my line!", comments Han, smiling at Leia.

We all giggle and Cassian and I walk down the path together, now as husband and wife.

I look back at the plaque and smile, seeing the names of my friends light up and knowing that they are proud. This one's for you guys.

"Finally.", he says with joy hugging me and lifting me up bridal style.

"At last.", I say, looking into his beautiful eyes and leaving in, kissing him passionately.

And now, our adventures together have only just begun.

I really wanna thank all the active readers that have voted and comment in the book, you really motivated me to keep writing.

This is my first finished book and the first I have written about the Star Wars universe. I'm just so passionate about Cassian and Jyn and well, all of Star Wars and that really pushed me to finish this story. I know that I will write other book and advance in my writing and find this story to be very, well, bad, but I'm still very proud of it and I like how it came out.
