Marinette's POV

I watched as Adrien came into my room. I held up the Ladybug suit for him to see. I had finally finished it.

"Wow, Marinette! That's really good! When are you gonna start on the Chat Noir suit?" Adrien asked.

"As soon as possible. I want to get it all done, so that I don't have to worry about it anymore," I explained. Adrien nodded like he understood.

"Let's start with scene 3," he said.

"Okay," I replied.

"Here we go..." Adrien said.

(The next day, Chat Noir is waiting for Ladybug to come for patrol)

Chat Noir: (to himself) How is it that Ladybug and I are either really early or really late, but never come at the same time? I don't understand it.

Ladybug: (comes from behind) You don't understand what?

Chat Noir: (a little surprised) Oh, how you and I are always either really early or really late, but never arrive at the same time.

Ladybug: Oh. Well, are you-

Chat Noir: (cuts off Ladybug) Ready for patrol? Of course.

Ladybug: (annoyed) Could you not interrupt me? As I was saying... Are you sure you can beat be me in the challenge?

Chat Noir: (thinking of his plan, he smirks) Of course I am! How could I not be?

Ladybug: (confident of herself) How can you be so sure of yourself? I think that I'll win.

Chat Noir: How do you know?

Ladybug: I didn't say I know. I said I think. To totally different things.

Chat Noir: Whatever. I said that I accepted the challenge, so I kind of have to be sure of myself or else there's no point in this challenge.

Ladybug: (sighs) Just start patrolling. We'll meet back here after we're done patrolling the city.

Chat Noir: (puts his hands up in a surrendering gesture) Okay...okay...I get it. We have to patrol, then I can win the challenge.

Ladybug: Don't you mean I can win the challenge?

Chat Noir: Nope. I'm pretty sure I meant what I said. Anyways...

Ladybug: Meet you back here. Later. (Leaves)

Chat Noir: (just stands there frozen, yells) Wha- You can't jus- You can't just leave! (Sighs, to himself) Why does this always happen to me? (Frustrated) Ugh! That girl! She can be so stubborn at times! It's so...so... (Dreamily) Irresistible. (Leaves to patrol)

(End scene)

"Okay! We only have two more scenes to go. Then we can start memerising our lines," I told Adrien.

"Yep, and hopefully by then you'll have the Chat Noir costume done," he said.

"I'll work on it after I do my homework. I don't have a lot, so I'll be able to get a little bit done. Well, see you tomorrow, Adrien!" I said, waving goodbye as Adrien made his way to the trapdoor.

"Bye, Mari!" he said waving goodbye to me as well. He then left and I started on my homework. I finished it fairly quickly and I started on Chat Noir's suit. I got a fourth of it done. I felt very accomplished.

I changed into my pajamas and got ready for bed. I got myself situated and was about to turn the light off when Tikki flew in front of me.

"Are you sure it was a good idea to do this play since you're Ladybug?" she asked. I wasn't expecting her to ask this particular question. I decided it would be best to answer her question with my complete thoughts on it...well, almost.

"It'll be okay. They'll probably found out eventually anyway. Besides, I made the colors and designs different, so that it wouldn't look too much like the real thing. It'll be a lot shinier! I have a good feeling about this play!" I explained, trying to boost my confidence.

"That's the spirit! Goodnight Marinette!" Tikki said.

"Goodnight, Tikki," I said as I turned the light off. I fell asleep and drifted into dreams.
