Chat Noir's POV

I set Ladybug down behind a chimney.

"Chat? Is something wrong?" Ladybug asked.

"Yes. Something is very wrong," I replied. We were being followed by someone. I didn't think it was a fan trying to get a close-up of us. Someone or something was after us and I intended to keep Ladybug out of danger.

"What is it?" she asked. She sounded very concerned. I didn't answer her. I just looked around the other side of the chimney to make sure we weren't being followed. I didn't see anything, so I was about to turn around and answer Ladybug, but then I heard something and looked around again.

I felt myself get kicked in the back. Why did Ladybug just kick me? Is she mad at me or something? I turned around to ask Ladybug why the heck she just kicked me in the back. It really hurt.

"What was-" I stopped when I saw that someone was holding Ladybug and covering her mouth. Now I see why she kicked me. It was to get my attention since she couldn't talk with her mouth covered.

I tried to get her free, but I couldn't. The man was holding her too tightly. I saw him squeeze her really hard and then she went limp. She stopped struggling and her eyes closed and her head lolled to the side.

"Ladybug! No!" I shouted. The man stood up and kicked me in the face before I could stand up as well. My nose started bleeding. Then the world ended because one drop of blood hit the ground and turned gold. (A/N: That sentence didn't actually happen. That was a Percy Jackson reference. His nose was bleeding and he almost caused the end of the world. I just thought of that when I wrote that Chat Noir's nose was bleeding.)

I covered my nose with my hands 'cause it really hurt. It felt like my nose was broken. It probably was, but I couldn't worry about it then. I had to take care of the guy who could've possibly just killed Ladybug. I looked around, but I couldn't find him anywhere.

"Where did he go?" I asked no one in particular. I need to find Ladybug's kidnapper as soon as possible or who knows what will happen to her. She could be dead right now for all I know. I hoped that wasn't the case, but I knew it was possible.

I needed to get home and come up with a plan fast, but first I needed to search for the kidnapper. I had a bad feeling that Hawkmoth was behind this. That could have even been Hawkmoth himself.

I searched the city for any signs of Ladybug or her kidnapper.

And guess what I found?

Nothing.

Absolutely nothing. (A/N: If you thought it was gonna be something besides nothing, please tell me in the comments and if you want, tell me what you thought it was gonna be.)

I detransformed in my room and Chat Noir was no longer standing there, but my alter Eggo, Adrien. 

"Give me some Camembert! I haven't had any in at least six hours!" Plagg complained. Then I realized that he said six hours.

"Wait, six hours?! I've been out for six hours?!" I asked, shocked. I couldn't believe that I had been out for such a long time. I hoped my father didn't notice my absence. He probably didn't, though. He doesn't even care about me... He's just a downer. I wouldn't even be surprised if he was Hawkmoth...

Woah. How did that thought cross my mind? Where in the world did I come up with that? My father is too boring to be Hawkmoth. He wouldn't have time for that anyway. He's never around, so how could he possibly- Wait. He's never around. He's always acting so cold. My father might actually be... No. It isn't possible. I'm gonna have to gather clues. I'll follow him and see if there's any evidence that he's Hawkmoth.

I snuck out of my room and saw my father walking around a corner. I followed him all the way to the painting of Mom. It's such a beautiful picture of her...

And I'm getting too distracted. I watched as he opened the vault behind it and moved the book on Tibet. There was a button behind it. He pressed it and the wall opened into a secret corridor. He walked in and the wall started to close behind him. I ran as quickly and quietly as I could and just barely made it in before it closed. It was pitch black and I couldn't see a thing. I decided that my night vision would be pretty handy right about now.

"Plagg, claws out!" I whispered. I transformed into my alter ego Chat Noir. I was happy to be able to see again. I ran down the corridor and spotted a staircase that led up. I raced up the stairs and saw a door at the top. 

I slowly opened it and peaked in the room. I saw my father transform into Hawkmoth. 

This was bad. This was very very bad. 

I saw Ladybug in the corner, unconscious or possibly dead. There was a huge window on the other side of the room that overlooked Paris. There were a bunch of white butterflies flying around Hawkmoth.

I ran as silently as possible to Ladybug. I was very concerned about her. I really hoped she was still alive. She was my everything and I didn't want to lose her. Not now. Not ever. 

I started shaking her, trying to wake her up. She eventually woke up and almost gave me away. She gasped and looked like she was about to say something. I quickly covered her mouth so I wouldn't give away my presence. I was gonna rescue Ladybug and then catch Hawkmoth by surprise and defeat him once and for all.

"What are you doing here?" Ladybug whispered. "You shouldn't have come for me."

"But I did and I'm rescuing you," I whispered back.

"Chat-" Ladybug started, but I cut her off.

"I'm rescuing you and there is nothing you can do about it. We're gonna defeat Hawkmoth and Paris will be safe again," I explained.

"Well, well, well... Looks like a cat has come to rescue his ladybug," Hackmoth said. Crap. He found me out.

THE NEXT CHAPTER IS GONNA GO AT A FASTER PACE THAN THIS ONE AND IT WILL BE MORE INVOLVED AND HAVE A LOT OF POINT OF VIEW CHANGES!!!!!!!!!! IT'LL BE THE SAME PARTS OF WHAT IS HAPPENING FROM BOTH LADYBUG AND CHAT NOIR'S POV AND I MIGHT PUT A PLAGG AND A TIKKI IN THERE SOMEWHERE!!!!!!!!!!! I'M STILL TRYING TO FIGURE THAT OUT!!!!!!!!!
