Toya paused on the sidewalk as he noticed a few people crowded around some TV monitors broadcasting the news outside a shop. He smirked to himself as he realized it was about Stain. The news flickered to a shot from the night Stain had been apprehended and he felt his heart drop into the pit of his stomach as he saw a glimpse of his father holding what appeared to be a seemingly lifeless Tira. He'd felt pain a week ago in his hand, then the following day his wrist and his gut but he didn't think anything of it. He'd been busy trying to find safe lodging and working with Giran who'd introduced him to The League of Villains. He was working so hard to get himself strong enough and with a stable enough living condition to steal Tira away. He'd successfully joined forces with The League of Villains and he had a bedroom at their lair, he could steal her away now, if it wasn't too late.

He felt sick with himself, he'd let her get hurt, again. Clenching his fists, he turned and hurriedly made his way to the station. It had already been a week, was she still in the hospital? Was she at home? He picked up the pace and broke into a run to get to the station quicker as he tried to focus on Tira and where she might be. Something inside of him told him she was at the hospital.

Toya darted into the alleyway between the various connected buildings of the hospital and looked up at the plethora of windows. His heart thundered in his chest and he felt a strange pull to one of the windows on the sixth floor. Somehow, he knew Tira was in that room. Hurriedly, he scaled the fire escape to the window and stealthily peered inside, being careful not to be seen. The lights were off but he could just barely make out Tira's frail frame lying on the hospital bed. There were a few monitors keeping track of her heart rate and blood pressure and a couple of machines administering drugs. One appeared to be for pain, one looked like an antibiotic and the other he assumed was to help her sleep. There wasn't anyone else in the room. He used his quirk to make the metal of the window hot and was easily able to break it open once it started to soften a little.

With ease, he made it through the window and approached her bedside. His heart seemed to clench tightly in his chest with every faint beep of her heart monitor. How could he not have known she was this badly hurt? He stopped himself from reaching out to touch her knowing if he did, she'd be able to feel all of her injuries. Tears welled in his teal eyes.

"I'm sorry, Tira." He breathed softly. His breath hitched in his throat as her dark grey eyes slowly fluttered open.

She blinked a few times and looked around the room seeming to be in a panic as she didn't appear to recognize her surroundings. Her eyes fell on her twin and she relaxed and cried out to him, "Nii-chan!" Her voice was scratchy as a result of tubes that had at one point been shoved down her throat to keep her alive. She must have been in critical condition.

Toya reached out to touch her but caught himself and froze in place. He drew his hand back and offered her a strained smile, "sorry I'm late."

Tira looked to the hand he'd drawn away and bit her lip, "please don't pull away."

"If I touch you, it'll hurt."

Tira shook her head as tears welled in her eyes, "I don't care. I miss you and it will make me feel better."

Toya smirked at this, she was starting to be a little more assertive and selfish. She was doing much better than before. "Alright." He hesitantly reached out and trailed a finger along her thin cheekbone. He felt his heart constrict as he saw her wince in pain. "That's enough." He pulled his hand away.

"No." Tira choked on a sob and reached a shaking hand up in an attempt to stop him. "Please..." She begged him, desperately needing to feel his touch.

Toya winced; he couldn't say no to her. "Fine, but you need to scoot over first, if you're going to insist on putting yourself through hell then I need to be able to comfort you."

Tira scooted over to make room on her bed and Toya reluctantly laid down beside her. He hesitated for a moment before tenderly caressing her cheek. She winced at the sudden pain but he didn't pull back this time. Instead, he wrapped his arms around her and held her in his arms, hugging her close. Her heart rate monitor picked up and her blood pressure began to rise as she started to feel the immense pain her body was in, radiating from the burns on her hand and the hole in her gut. Through the pain, she felt the warmth of Toya's embrace and clung tightly to him trying to focus solely on the warmth of his touch.

Toya resisted the urge to let her go as her delicate frame trembled in his arms. She was in so much pain. "Tira, I think that's enough, I'm afraid you're going to pass out." He said softly as he eased his grip.

"N-No." Tira choked, "as soon as it stops, you're going to leave again." Tears streamed down her pale cheeks, "please don't go, Nii-chan. I don't want to say goodbye anymore."

Toya felt his heart crumble in his chest, he caused her so much pain. He tenderly trailed a finger down her cheek and tilted her face in his direction before stealing her soft lips in a sweet kiss. "No more goodbyes." He vowed.

"You'll stay?" Tira asked in awe.

He shook his head, "no, I think I have a safe enough place for now, I'll steal you away, as promised."

Tira hesitated. Things were just starting to improve with their father and Shoto. She knew if she asked Toya to stay, he'd just get upset, she could see it in his eyes, he would never forgive their father, regardless if she did or not. Perhaps this was for the best, if she was with Toya, maybe she could convince him somehow that it was okay for them to come home and they could all be a family again. She bit her lip, still hesitant to answer before slowly nodding.

Toya noticed her hesitance but said nothing. He got to his feet before slowly disconnecting the various monitors and IV's attached to her. He wrapped her up in a blanket before sweeping her into his arms and made his way to the fire escape to spirit her away.

Enji made his way toward  Tira's room after the nurses begged him to take a break and at least nap in the staff suite. He'd been at Tira's bedside for days. He'd barely slept. He'd been running on coffee and guilt for days now. When he'd stumbled upon Shoto and the others, that night in Hosu, he'd wished he'd have seen Tira before he saw the Hero Killer taking down the Nomu. If he'd had seen the state Tira was in, his anger would have trumped his fear at the man's powerful presence and he wouldn't have hesitated to end him, though that wasn't very hero like. He wanted to rip Stain apart, piece by piece for hurting sweet innocent Tira.

He pushed open the door to Tira's hospital room and noticed the curtains near the windows fluttering in the breeze. The window was open. Why was the window open? He looked to Tira's bed and the coffee slipped from his hands as he realized it was empty, Tira was gone!

"TIRA?!" He scrambled to the window, there was no sign of her or anyone else. He paused as he looked closer at the window, it was partially melted. "...Toya..." His stomach churned. Why would he kidnap her in such a delicate condition? She needed to stay on the antibiotics so her wounds wouldn't get infected. Toya didn't know proper wound care! He hurriedly sent out an alert to all of his sidekicks to scour all of Japan in search of his eldest children. They needed to be found, Tira was in no condition to be traveling.
