Chapter 3 - Smirks
"That was amazing, babe," Luke whispered into my ear. I then heard the door. I ran off to a hiding spot after grabbing my clothes. Luke grabbed his clothes and ran out of sight. He put his clothes on quickly, then walked to see the guard. The guard looked at what Luke had done while being in there, and he nodded before taking Luke out of the bakery.
I soon snuck out and went back to the main room. Luke wouldn't quit smirking at me. There was something wrong with that boy.
"What's wrong with you? Stop smirking at me," I pushed him.
"I'm sorry.. I can't smirk at a beautiful girl? Whom I just had sex with?" He said the last part quietly.
"Well thank you," I blushed, "it's alright, I guess. But since you say you didn't murder anyone, are you sure you've never raped anyone? You seem to crave sex," I joked around with him.
"I'm sure that I've never raped anyone. I can promise you that," he laughed, "but you've got that second part right, if I'm around you.."
He sure knew how to make me blush. I smiled at him. Sister Jude came into the main room and told us we would be watching a movie sometime next week as a treat for how well all of us have been behaving. I had an idea.

*Luke's POV*
I sat in my cell later that night, thinking of Annamarie. I called out of my cell for her. I heard movements, then called for her again.
"What do you want?" She asked.
"I like you.." I told her.
"I know," she smirked. That's what I loved about her so much. Her confidence.
"You aren't going to say the same back?"
"Not if you kill the people you like. You did kill your best friend, right?"
"I did not!" I exclaimed.
"I'm just kidding. I like you too," she shrugged, but in a good way.
"Okay," I looked down, smiling.
"You're not going to jerk off to me now, are you?" She asked, smirking at me and judging me.
"Oh, you liked it."
"So did you. And you liked what I did today. You could hardly get any work done," she giggled.
"And I'd love to do it again soon," I smiled at her, "and I'm in the bakery again in two days.."
"I'm in the bakery tomorrow, but there will be people in there with me," she frowned.
"Aww," I pouted.
"You know how Sister Jude said that we would be watching a movie sometime next week due to our good behavior?" She asked.
"Yeah," I nodded. What was she suggesting? That we leave the movie and fuck? I'd be fine with that, "what about it?"
"I have an idea," she smirked. It was an evil smirk.
"What's that?" I liked the sound of this.
"You said that you'd rather have the death sentence than stay in here for the rest of your life, right?" She asked. How did she remember that?
"Yeah, why?"
"So I take it you don't like it here?"
"No, not really.. But you're here," I smiled.
"And you like it here because I'm here?"
"No. It just makes it better that you're here."
"So you would want to get out right?"
"I've only been here for two days, and I feel really bad for saying this since I know you've been in here for a year and a half, but I can't take it much longer in here. The food sucks, the treatment is terrible, and the music they listen to is fucking horrid!" I exclaimed.
"So you would like to leave, right?"
"Definitely," I nodded vigorously, "as long as I can stay with you.."
"I'd be okay with that," she blushed. She does that a lot. Maybe it's me that makes her blush..
"So what's your plan?" I asked.
"Well, there's a few loose bricks behind one of the girls' baths. I noticed it about five months ago, and I've been working at it every day. They think I take a while in the bath, but I'm secretly trying to pull those bricks out. There's enough now for a person to fit through the hole. I've done some searching, and I found out that the hole would lead way down underneath the floor of the asylum, and it would come out to the right of it, a few feet in front of the gates. We could then run off and escape.."

I just realized that I forgot to give you guys a picture of Annemarie, so I put a picture of her up on the Prologue:)
