"You can begin" Mrs Vanessa said while sitting down and facing the student writing their final exams. Some of the students looked okay, possible to pass the exams, some looked scared to touch the papers while some just chew on the pencil not knowing what to write.

   Who really got Mrs Vanessa attention was no other than the three friends, Bella, Issac and Patrick. "Those three sure came prepared. They writing like no other" Mrs Vanessa thought whilst looking at the three who was paying total attention to their paper and answering them.

The next paper for the class was English. Maths was first and now English and this time everyone in the class was answering their papers, I mean who couldn't answer English questions? Its so easy. After about 1 hour and 30 minutes of writing, the English examination came to an end and for the final paper Government.
   But the principle gave them sometime for lunch and sometime to revise on what they've read and here we are seeing three best friends eating lunch and reading and talking.

  "Man that maths sure was easy" Issac said and took a sip from his juice

   "Yeah but I think I didn't solve one question" Bella said and sighed

  "What?!" Issac and Patrick shouted and Isaac turned out to cough out the drink in his mouth

"Yeah. That  Binomial expansion, question a)" Bella said

"Sorry about that Bell but that's the only question you couldn't solve right?" Patrick asked and Bella nodded

"I knew it but I don't know. I just forgot" Bella said

"Its alright Bell. At least you got the others" Issac said patting Bella head

"Yeah" Bella said smiling

After about 1 hour of lunch and revising, it was time for the final paper of the day Government.
   Government was quite simple. So it didn't take time before the whole class was done and submitted their papers.
 
"Why so gloomy Issac?" Patrick asked seeing the gloomy aura around Issac "I didn't write so well in Government" Issac said crying and rolling on the floor and his friends just sweat drop at his behavior "But you read didn't you?" Bella asked and Issac stop rolling and just sat and looked up to his friends "Yes" Issac said sniffling and cleaning his nose "Then what happened?" Patrick asked "I don't know. One minute am writing and the other I stopped" Issac said "How many questions did you not answer?" Bella asked "Two" Issac said "That's not do bad" Patrick said and Issac snapped and he rushed Patrick and dragged him by the collar, swinging him back and forth "WHAT DO YOU MEAN NOT SO BAD?! DON'T YOU KNOW HOW I LOVE GOVERNMENT?" Issac shouted in Patrick face "Calm down Issac" Bella said, her hand on Issac shoulder. Issac sighed and let go of Patrick, who flew to the floor like a feather and landed gracefully. "Are we going home now?" Patrick asked as they walk towards the door "Probably.  Do you see any of our class mate in school?" Bella said and Patrick looked around and said "No" "Okay. We're going home" Bella said and they walked out of the school gate "Bye guys" Patrick said walking to his right "Bye" his friends said and walked in the other direction. Left.

  "Hey" Patrick said with his hand up in a slight wave as he enters into the parlour "Oh Patrick. You're home early" Lisa said looking at the time which showed 12:30 "Yeah. We're writing finals mom" Patrick said sitting down on the couch "Oh right. How was the exams honey?" Lisa said smiling "It was great mom. Totally gonna ace the test" Patrick said giving his mother a big thumbs up "That's great. Let me get you a drink, you must be thirsty" Lisa said wanting to stand up "Don't worry mom. I'll get it" Patrick said and stood up "Oh okay" Lisa said looking at the back of her son heading towards the kitchen.

"So you going to see Claire today?" Lisa asked and placed a piece of cake in her mouth "Yeah mom" Patrick said chewing on a piece of cake "Okay when?" "Anytime but I need to sleep first. I'm busted" Patrick said as he picked up his plate and his mother's and walked to the kitchen "Okay" Lisa said smiling.
   "So tired" Patrick said and fell on his bed and on that position, he fell asleep.

    "Hey Claire" Patrick said smiling as he backed the cell door "Patrick" Claire said whilst rubbing her eyes trying to draw them from sleep "Sorry I woke you up" Patrick said as he sat on the bed "Don't worry about it. What's that in you hand?" Claire asked pointing to the lunch box in Patrick hands "Oh this" Patrick said dropping it at the table "Mom baked cake, so she said I should bring some to you" Patrick continued while opening the lunch box to show two slices of chocolate cake "And it's your favourite" Patrick said and turned to look at Claire and saw that her eyes were sparkling ✨ and her mouth was watery. Claire picked up the cake and the fork and took a piece and placed it on her mouth. "Amazing" Claire said with sparkling ✨ eyes, Patrick just smile and ruffled Claire hair making her to look at him while chewing on her cake with a fork in her mouth.

"How have you been Claire?" Patrick asked "Great" Claire answered she swallowed the cake "Okay. Have you had any nightmares lately?" "No" Claire shook her head "Thanks to you" she mentally added "I'm glad to hear that" Patrick said "Yeah, me too" Claire said "We've started our exams, and We'll be done on Friday. I'm so excited" Patrick said with a smile on his face and when he turned to look at   Claire, he noticed that she was looking down "Claire what's wrong" Patrick asked placing his hands on her shoulder "Won't that mean, you'll soon be going to college?" Claire asked with watery eyes staring at Patrick. Patrick eyes widen then it softens "Claire" Patrick said as he moved closer to Claire and placed her head on his chest "I know am being selfish but I can't stand being away from you" Claire said then she and Patrick eyes widen at what she just said and she buried her face in his chest to hide her blush and making Patrick to laugh a little "What's so funny?" Claire asked  with her ear against his chest "And you said you're not in love with me" Patrick said chuckling "I'm not" Claire defended obviously lying which Patrick knew "Yeah yeah" Patrick said while rolling his eyes "But Claire how about I make a promise to you" Patrick said and Claire raised her head and looked up to his eyes and noticed that he was serious "About what?" Claire asked averting her eyes from his "To stay with you till you recover" Patrick said.

"WHAT?!!" Lisa, Gerald and Peter shouted making Tory and Patrick to cover their ears "Did you have to shout like that?" Patrick said while cleaning his ears "Why did you make a promise to her like that!?" Peter asked "Because dad, she needs me. She needs my help. I'm the only one who can help her recover. Don't you see it?" Patrick asked and Peter just sighed "Son what's gotten into you?" Peter asked while shaking his head and Lisa just chuckle "What's so funny dear?" Peter asked slightly provoked that his wife would be laughing at such a delicate matter "Oh nothing. Its just that Patrick is in love and doesn't even know it" Lisa said and Gerald nodded his head "Indeed. And I thought that am the only one who knew" Gerald said "Even I noticed" Tory said. Peter and Patrick twitched in annoyance seeing Lisa, Gerald and Tory nodding their heads "WHAT DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH ANYTHING?!!" Peter and Patrick shouted making Lisa, Tory and Gerald to flinch. Peter just sighed and looked at Patrick "Patrick I just hope you know what you're doing" Peter said, his hand in Patrick shoulder "No problem dad. As long as am their, she'll be sure to recover" Patrick reassured his father with a grin on his handsome face. "Or maybe the reason why you made that promise it's because you can't stand a day without seeing her. Just like she can't you" Gerald said "Of course I can't . She needs me and am her best friend" Patrick said "Son, you have two best friends in school and you don't visit them like you do Claire. You don't pay attention to them unless in school like you do Claire. Every day you come back from school, you visit her and every weekend, you spend most of your time with her forgetting your family. At first we were upset but then we decided that you're in love with her" Lisa said looking at her son with a smiling face"And" Tory said making everyone to look at her "Oh come on" Patrick mentally groan "You can't seem to stop talking about her. When you came in a while ago. We didn't ask you to tell us what happen in the cell when you visited her today but you just told us. And when you talked about her, like I've said so many times, you grin like an idiot and smile" Tory continued "I'm.. " Patrick said and everyone smiled having one thought "He's finally realize"
    "I'm not in love with her" Patrick said grinning and everyone just face palmed "He is so dense" Everyone thought "What's wrong?" Patrick asked with a confuses face "YOU'RE SO DENSE!!!" Lisa, Tory, Peter and Gerald shouted in his face making him melt like an ice water.

Patrick sighed at his thought "Whats wrong Patrick?" One of Patrick class mate asked. She had blue hair and black eyes. She was quite small for her age and she was very cute making her look like a kid "Nothing. Just thinking about something" Patrick said "Do you want to tell me about it?"   the girl asked "It's nothing to worry about Priscilla" Patrick said with a smile "Okay" Priscilla said and she turned around facing her textbook.
   "I can't be in love with Claire, she's my best friend. That's not right." Patrick thought and he smiled ". Definitely not in love with much best friend" he mentally concluded and brought out his Biology text book to revise on what he read.

    *Clanggggggggnnggg* the bell rang, signalling the beginning of the exams. Mr Kelvin entered into the class and clapped his hands, getting the attention of the reading students "Okay Class, if you would gently place your book in your bags and place your bags on the ground, then we shall begin the exams, okay?" Mr Kelvin said and the teens nodded and kept their books and place their bags on the floor, after taking the necessary materials like pencil, eraser and other stuff for the exams "Okay Class we're starting with Civic education" Mr Kelvin said with the question in his hands and the student sigh in relief for having such an easy paper first "The exams will hold for 1 hour, meaning we're stopping exactly 10:00 on the dot, understand?" "Yes sir" the students replied.
    After Mr Kelvin shared the question paper and answer booklet, he stood at the front of the class with his eyes on his wrist watch, waiting for the time to hit 9 and when it did, he said "Begin" and the students flipped their question paper and booklet and stated answering the question. Mr Kelvin looked round and nodded his head "This year, good results would be seen" he said and brought out a book and stated reading it.

   Mr Kelvin looked at the watch and noticed that they had ten minutes till they stop and he looked at the students. Some were done and the others were still writing "Better hurry" he thought and when he looked and the time again, five minutes more and he looked to his students and they were all through. Some were resting their heads and some were looking at the time and when it hit 10, Mr Kelvin stood up from his chair and started picking the answer booklet from their desk. When he was done, he sat on the chair "You have 30 minutes to revise in you next paper" he said and the students brought out their Financial accounting note book for revision on what they've read and learnt.
    
   Mr Kelvin looked at his students and  sweat drop "This students never seem to stop amusing me" he though and smiled. After 1hour and 30 minutes of writing Financial accounting, Mr Kelvin picked up their papers and told them they had 1 hour for break till they write Biology and they nodded and went out of the class to eat and read. But mostly read, seeing as Biology was half hard and half simple with the drawing of the internal structure of the body. Drawing a termite, centipede and the internal struggle of a fowl, bird, goat or even a fish.

  "Why are you guys writing biology again?" Issac ask seeing his two best friends reading intensely "Philosophy" Patrick answered "Surgeon" Bella answered "Oh right" Issac said and kept quiet, not to disturb his friends who was reading and not even paying attention to their food.
   When it had reach the turn of Biology, the student walked in with with confidence and Mr Kelvin smiled at this. He shared the question paper and answer booklet and when the 12,he told them to start telling them that they would stop around 2:00 "Why did we have to close so late?" Mr Kelvin whine to himself tiredly.
   
    When the time hit 2,the exam for the day was done and the final year students went home feeling good and happy because they had writing well, mostly in the Biology exam.
    When Patrick got home, he immediately went to the kitchen and ordered one of the maid to cook him eggs, bacon and toasted bread and to bring two glasses of orange juice along with it.
    After Patrick had eaten, he sighed with content and rested for a while before he went to take his bath. After bathing, he wore a black jean and a white shirt. He picked up his phone and headset and walked out of his house,after telling Albert to tell anyone who got home first, that he went to work, with his headset on playing 'Power glide' by SWAE LEE.
