Patrick eyes stir opened and he groan in pain his body felt. He opened his eyes and sat up and groan in pain. He looked around and saw that he was in his room. He wondered what he was doing here until he remembered what happened before he passed out "Dad" he said and flipped the cover from his body and got up from the bed and held his stomach in pain 'Did he have to kick me that hard' he thought as he stepped out of his room and backed the door. He walk through the stairs in a hurray to get to the Parlour.

      Entering into the Parlour he saw a maid cleaning "You?" he called out to the maid and the maid looked up to him "Master you're awake" she said and walked up to him and bowed "Yes. Where's my brother?" Patrick asked "He left for the hospital" the maid answered "Do you were which hospital?" "Yes. He said something about the hospital close to your father company" the maid replied "That's just few miles from here" he mumbled "Okay" Patrick said and walked pass the maid. Patrick stepped into his car and closed the door, turn on the car and step on it. He drove full speed ahead to the hospital. He wanted to know the conditions of his father but most especially Claire. He knows that they would probably had taken her to the Asylum about now and he knows that she would probably be scared. He drove that thought from his head as he packed his car, turned it off and stepped out.

   He walked into the hospital and walked directly to the attendant "Good afternoon" he greeted the man "Afternoon" the man said looking at Patrick "Yeah. Where can I find Mr winters room" Patrick asked "Who are you to him?" The man asked "His son" Patrick said "Oh come this way please" the man said and Patrick followed him.
     When they both got to the path to Peters room, they saw Lisa, Tory and Gerald all sitting there waiting for there Father surgery to be over "Thank you" Patrick said to the man "Your welcome sir" the man replied and left. Patrick walked up to his family and they all turned to look at him "Hey, how's dad doing?" Patrick asked and a slap sound was heard.
  
    Patrick felt his cheek turning hot from the slap his mother just gave him. He turned to look at his mother to see tears in her eyes and anger "Why didn't you listen to your father?" Lisa shouted drawing attention to them "Mom" Patrick said looking at his mother "How could you do that to your father? He's such a nice man who loves his family. Patrick if he doesn't make it from this, you're leaving my family" Lisa shouted and Patrick eyes widen at the revelation to what his mother just said "You don't mean it" his voice came out rather weakly "Everywhere. Now get out of my sight" Lisa shouted to her son "Mommy calm down" Tory said touching her mother palm but Lisa removed her hands from Tory hands in disgust "Your kind of people wanted to kill my husband" she looked at Tory with anger in her eyes and Tory eyes began to water "Mother stop it" Gerald said walking over to Tory and brought her to his chest "How could you say that to Tory?  She's your daughter not some crazy person" Gerald said looking into his mother eyes and Lisa eyes soften in realization of what she had just said to Patrick and Tory and she began to cry "I'm so sorry. I just... I don't want Peter to die. I love him so much" Lisa said as she sat on the floor crying into her palm "He won't mom" Patrick said as he sat on the floor and rested his mother head on his chest "Dad's strong. He'll come out of this" Patrick said soothing his mother. He looked up to Gerald and Gerald nodded his head to Patrick and Patrick understood what he met. He was apologizing for what he did to him and Patrick just grinned "No biggie Gerald" Patrick said and Gerald just smiled as he sat down on one of the chair with a sleeping Tory on his lap.

      Lisa and her children waited patiently for the doctors to be through with their work. They have been sitting there for like an hour now and the doctor still wouldn't come out "I hope everything is okay in there" Lisa said trying to peep into the surgery room "Everything is fine mom. You worry too much" Tory reassured her mother. Lisa just signed and sat close too Lisa who smiled at her. Lisa looked at her adopted daughter and her eyes soften "I'm sorry for what I said earlier dear. Please forgive me" Lisa said holding Tory palm in hers "It's okay, mom. I get why you did that. You were just really angry." Tory said blushing while pinching the bridge of her nose "Thank you" Lisa said and put Tory head on her boobs and gave her hug making Tory to blush and snuggle into the softness of her mother blossom.
     As mother and daughter express their love, the door opened and they all turned towards the door and stood up "How's my husband?" Lisa asked "How's daddy?" Tory asked and the doctor smiled "Your husband is fine" the doctors said and Lisa eyes widen in disbelief and tears fell from her  and she hugs her first child while Tory hugs Patrick "He pulled through the surgery and it was a success. It was a miracle that the knife didn't damage any internal organs but the knife did leave a scratch on his stomach but nothing we can't fix. It truly was a miracle" the doctor said to the happy family "Thank you so much doctor" Lisa said taking the doctor but his palm "No problem madam" the said laughing "Can we see him now?" Tory asked and the doctor replied "Yes" and they all smiled and entered into the room.
