the world stage

throughout the day

that is modern time, 

has consisted of a cast

of passive-aggressive performers

that live to squabble

with one another.

the people,

in the morning

were promised

an acclaimed production,

yet receive a spectacle of chaos

and disorganization

of the highest degree,

one that regards only those

that could afford wing seats.

but we are locked in the theatre.

and as the sun moves through the sky,

moves through the day 

that is modern time,

each coming act 

gets worse and worse.

so we, the junior generation,

must climb the stage

and commandeer the play.

what should shame 

the actors

and the watchers in the wings

that allowed the play 

to devolve into pandemonium,

is that the children of the world

must rewrite the script 

and urge

the actors

and the watchers in the wings

to heed the rest of the audience.

and what should shame them more

is that the change brought by these children 

happened this late in the day 

that is modern time.
