Though Nico and Claudia weren't sure about this, Lorena backed up her friend's decision, going over all of their abilities.

"But that won't work: my redirection doesn't work that well against big spells, you're stronger into the night, she can't stretch her arms or get burnt, and ice doesn't beat fire!"

"Technically it depends on the strength of her ice."

"Are you really going doing an um, actually right now?"

That was loud enough for Len to figure out where they were hiding. Lorena stretched her legs to pull a plant down so their flames could counter his, only to witness the larger radius and giant cross extended its reach.

Claudia panicked and transformed into her crow state, letting the two on her back and picking up their upperclassmen, while Len spread both of his arms, spreading them around. Claudia got as much air she could while Nico pushed the garden's vines as shields.

Candy fired quick ice shards at Len to push back his attacks which easily melted them, refusing to stop until her efforts created a large smokescreen of water vapor into the sky.

"Good, that'll cool him off."

Candy had a response to Lorena as Len burst out of the gas to the shock of all four ladies.

He shot the ground to blast himself this high?

His other arm was aimed at them. "Ladies, you're done!"

With panic painted on the freshmen's faces, Lorena bit Nico's face, getting her to shift Claudia in time to flap away from his trauma, but not enough to burn the latter's wing.

Candy turned back to see Len about to shoot backwards to fly towards them. With failure sweating down her face, activated Callisto's Dress, forming it just in time to pivot off her peers and block his descent with her cape.

"Get out of my way!" He combined both hands as she turned to him face forward. She fired first to freeze his hands, but his enhanced power imploded, hurting and freeing them while she was blown back towards the girls, where Lorena was trying to put out the flames on Claudia.

"You okay?"

"I'm fine," freezing the flames burning Claudia, lifting her up by the wing. "Fall into the vapor, trust me!"

"I'll have to risk it, but I can pull him in."

"Lore, no! I'm not letting anyone else get hurt!"

She froze the bottom of the vapor to create a trail for Claudia to glide on while Len gave chase even with the melting part of the armor from the front.

"How's your arm?"

"I feel like it's getting stronger," then screaming at Len jumping over them.

Candy gritted her team. My dress doesn't have enough defense. "You have a gift, have fun with your designs," staring at her dress. A dress made for fun, but can stop those flames? Ah!

Candy made more bear shaped ramps for Claudia to slide off, allowing the girls to swerve up, down, left, and right from Len's Crux flames.

He tried to grab Claudia, but Nico helped spun them around so he'd be below them. Lorena timed just right to shoot her kicking stretching into his torso to smack him down.

"Stop fighting! No matter how hard you try, it'll never work out! I'll get into the Society of Hollows!"

He combined both hands to release one larger X-shaped fire blast.

"Are you sure this'll work?"

"Nico, don't give up!"

"But I need the switch for that level of power."

Candy shook her head. "If you could do it with the switch, that just means you could pull it off with more training! Believe in yourself! You don't need to be corrupted like he is!"

Her charging magic was on full display, shifting the shape, density, and weight of her dress into something bigger. "I need more time."

"We have to try. Nico, Claudia, go!"

They agreed: Claduia flapped her wings like her life was on the line to push back the flames as Nico's bit her mouth, pouring every bit of energy to try and pivot the cross blast. Is it ready?

Candy's new move shined before finalizing into her intended design, a large dress covering her frontal and back areas, with every section plated in rock cold stone armor and multiple open barrels across each one.

"Callisto's Dress: Beargown!"

Lorena's eyes popped at the design while Claudia concluded it was too heavy.

"Sorry. Lore!"

Lorena pulled Candy up with her head, stretching back in the air, contracting back and sending Candy flying into Len's attack.

"Ursa Minor Art: Icicle Comet!"

Candy completely pushed the X-shaped stream down. Len strained himself to pour more power into it, but she charged and released a series of snowball missiles firing at his body.

Weakening his ability to maintain it before the weight and mass of the frozen silhouette crashed through the entire flames, Candy slammed him into the ground, watching the surge of power dissipate.

Tired, she slid off of him, smacking away his embers into the swamp.

"Don't mess with a Minor."

The others flew down to join her, watching the lines across Len start to fade, coughing as they witnessed the Void essence from his body rise up, coughing.

Lorena sucked her teeth. Without Sehki, that influence won't go, watching Nico and Claudia hug Candy, thanking her for saving their lives.

Well, at least we survived, spotting the Switch drop out of his pocket, asking them to grab it until she heard the sound of a quickly moving hump of metal.

"Duck!"

The four of them dropped to the floor as metal chains ripped through the trees. Lorena stretched her head to bite the switch, but another chain yanked it from her.

"No," watching them wrap Len up and a person in a hood picked it up.

"Arian?"

Lorena stretched her head fast enough, spitting a mud bullet to blindside them to chomp off the bottom of it before getting kicked aside as the culprit fled.
