SURPRISE!!!!!!! I'M BACK!!!!!!!

Astrid was breathing heavily as she was rushed in to the village medicine man by Hiccup, Stoick, Gobber, and Gothy the Village Elder. Belfus,the village medicine man, rushed into the room with a heated towel and placed it on Astrid's round belly.

Stoick the Vast: Belfus,her water has broken. She's going into labor.

Belfus: Ay, I'll get my wife to start the procedure.

Belfus rushed to his wife,Skyra. Skyra rushed to Astrid's side and placed Astrid's legs over her shoulders.

Skyra: Don't you worry lass. I'll get that child out of you.

Astrid: AGHHHHHH!!!!!!! OH GODS IT HURTS!!!!!!!

Gobber: That's it Astrid let out those battle cries.

Hiccup: Gobber!!!

Gobber: What?

Hiccup: Now's not the time!!!!

Gobber: Oh right...But you have to admit it was a great battle cry.

Gothy wacked Gobber's head with her walking stick.

Skyra: Breath lassy breath.

Hiccup held Astrid's hands and she breathed and tried pushing the baby out of her.

Belfus: I need someone to help me make the muscle relaxing water.

Stoick the Vast: I'll help you.

Belfus and Stoick went into the medicine room to make the muscle relaxing water. Meanwhile Skyra helped Astrid push the baby out of her.

Skyra: Push lassy push!!!!!!!

Astrid: AGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

Hiccup: C'mon Astrid you can do this!!! Push baby push!!!

Gothy gestured something in the floor with her stick. Gobber looked at it.

Gobber: Hiccup, Gothy says to go and help Stoick and Belfus with the muscle relaxing water.

Hiccup: Alright.

Hiccup gave Astrid a quick kiss on the forehead and ran off to help his dad and Belfus.

Stoick the Vast: Hiccup,get the red bottle on top of the cabinet on your left.

Hiccup grabbed the red bottle and poured it in the giant pot of muscle relaxing water.

Belfus: Ice! I need ice!

Stoick ran into the kitchen and grabbed a giant cube of ice from the ice bucket and put it in the pot.

Belfus: Quick. Take this to Ms.Hofferson and keep wetting the towel on her belly and legs.

Stoick the Vast: Thank you Belfus.

Hiccup and Stoick ran into the other room with the pot of muscle relaxing water. Meanwhile Astrid was being tended by Gothy, Skyra, and Gobber. Hiccup and Stoick put down the pot and went to Astrid's side. Stoick started to re-wet the towel and rubbed it on Astrid's thighs and legs. Hiccup held Astrid's hands while she screamed and pushed.

Skyra: I can see the head lassy!!!

Hiccup: What?!?!?!

Hiccup went to see and saw a small head being pushed out of Astrid's legs.

Hiccup: Astrid, you're doing it!!!! Keep pushing baby!!!! Our first born baby is almost here!!!!!!!!

Hiccup couldn't believe it. He was going to become a dad. He could feel the adrenaline running through his veins.

Skyra: Here come the shoulders and arms!!!!

Gobber: Come on Astrid! Don't let your mother and father down! They're watching you with the Gods right now!

Stoick the Vast: Breath Astrid! Give it you're strongest push and let it out!!!

Gothy put her hand on Astrid's head and mumbled a couple of words in silence.

Astrid: AAAGGGGGGHHAA-HHAA-HHAAAA!!!!!!!

Finally after what seemed like hours...it had arrived.

Skyra: Excellent job lassy. You have a beautiful baby girl.

Hiccup's eyes widened as he saw his beautiful baby girl cry in Skyra's hands.

Hiccup: SHE'S HERE!!! SHE'S HERE!!! SHE'S HERE!!! OUR DAUGHTER IS HERE!!!!!!! I'M A FATHER!!!!!!! OH MY GODS!!!!!!

Everyone cheered for the child's birth and Astrid's efforts. Skyra was busy tending to the umbilical cord. While Hiccup was beside his exhausted wife. Stoick, Gobber, and Gothy all stood beside the couple.

Stoick the Vast: I'm a grandfather. Thank you Astrid. Hiccup. You're lucky to have the one thing I didn't have and that is a daughter.

Astrid: Geeh thanks Stoick...

Hiccup: Yeah dad. Thanks for everything.

Gobber: I knew you wouldn't let your parents down.

Astrid: Yeah. I'm so happy.

Belfus and Skyra came in with the baby girl wrapped in a blanket.

Skyra: Ay, there you are lassy. Your new baby girl. She's very beautiful.

Gothy nodded in approval. Astrid couldn't help but cry as she held her new baby girl in her arms with Hiccup beside her. Gobber sniffled and weeped.

Gobber: Oh...She's so cute. I'm gonna go outside for a second. I've got some crying to do.

Stoick the Vast: She looks just like you Astrid.

Astrid sniffed.

Astrid: Thank you Stoick. Oh Hiccup she's so beautiful.

Hiccup nodded as tears streamed down his face.

Hiccup: She sure is...

Astrid turned to look at her sleeping baby.

Astrid: Hey baby girl. It's me Astrid. You can call me mommy, momma, or mom.

Astrid kissed the baby girl's head.

Astrid: Oh Hiccup here,carry her.

Astrid handed the sleeping child down to Hiccup. Hiccup smiled as he gently rubbed the baby's cheek with his finger. Suddenly the baby grabbed Hiccup's finger and squeezed it. Hiccup couldn't believe it. He loved every second of that moment.

Hiccup: I'll never let you go...

The baby made a gurgling noise.

Hiccup: That's right. I love you too. By the way, I'm your daddy.

Stoick placed a hand on Hiccup's shoulder and smiled.

Stoick the Vast: So, what are going to name her?

Suddenly Belfus and Skyra brought in a new baby crib for Hiccup and Astrid.

Astrid: Thank you so much for everything Belfus and Sk-Hey...wait a minute...Skyra.

Skyra: Yes?

Astrid: No, not you Skyra. The name, that's it.

Hiccup: What's it?

Astrid: The baby's name. Skyra.

Stoick the Vast: I agree with Astrid. It's the least we can do for Belfus and Skyra's help.

Skyra: I'm so honored you used my name lassy. Thank you.

Hiccup looked down at Skyra.

Hiccup: Hey Skyra. I'm so glad you were born. You're my favorite little girl.

Astrid sat up and grabbed her belly. Stoick helped her up. Gothy gave Astrid the moist towel and rubbed it against her showing her the motions she needed to make to reduce pain.

Stoick the Vast: Let's go to the Grand Plaza. Tonight we celebrate the birth of my first granddaughter. Gobber!

Gobber came in the room wiping away tears from his face.

Gobber: Yes?

Stoick the Vast: Gather up the villagers in the Grand Plaza. Tonight we celebrate with a feast.

Gobber: Right you are Stoick.

Gobber left to gather the villagers while the others left Belfus' house to the Grand Plaza.
