"Oh, you're so gonna regret that," Iskall sinisterly laughed and vanished.
The hermits went back to camp to prepare for the mothership.
" What has happened to Iskall?" asked Impulse.
" Idk, however, before we went through the nether portal, I saw Iskall attacking the Astras," said Etho.
"So he isn't on the Astras side. We have a third party in the battle."
Inside Grian's tent...
Grian was sobbing on the ground, curled up. One of his best friends had gotten manipulated by something.
"Hey... do you need anything?" asked Mumbo entering the tent.
"No... just missed Iskall..."
"Is there anything that I can do to make you feel more comfortable?"
"... a hug."
Mumbo hugged Grian. Grian felt cold. He wasn't the cheerful type anymore.
knock knock
"Um, should I leave you guys?" Asked X coming through the tent.
"No, it's fine," said Grian with a sombered voice.
" Well, are you guys ready to board the mothership?"
"Yea, we are"
A couple of minutes later, they headed to the battleship. Impulse knew how to drive it, so he sat on the driver's seat, and took off. Grian was still silently sobbing, tears coming out of his eyes. Mumbo was beside Grian, comforting him. X was doing his best to delay the corruption, but nothing worked. Doc was using the missiles, in case of an emergency. False did the same. TFC was well, cooking. As a chef, he brought a portable stove.
They were about the reach the entrance when...
"Uhh, guys? we're out of fuel. We are slowly gliding down."
"Can you glide it to the mothership?" asked X.
"I can try,"
And so, Impulse tried his best to glide the ship to the mothership. they barely made it.
With a small part of the battleship hanging onto the mothership, they quickly got out and went into the mothership.
"ARGH, HELP, I'M SLIPPING!" yelled Mumbo.
Grian turned around only to find Mumbo, with his hands gripping onto the mothership as hard as he could. the battleship wasn't behind Mumbo, It must have fallen back to the ground.
Everyone grabbed Mumbo as hard as they could and pulled. He nearly died there. With a sigh of relief, they entered the mother ship. With only 4 days, they had to succeed. They must be in the parking spot for battleships. It was really big, and the walls were vibrating light purple colors. There wasn't any entrance to be seen.
"Search for a button that will reveal the door," shouted X from the other side of the parking spot.
X, TFC, Impulse, and False searched for a button on the right side of the lot. Grian, Mumbo, Wels, and Tango searched for a button on the left side of the lot. Etho, Keralis, BdoubleO, and Jevin searched for a button on the back of the lot.
After a couple of hours, they quickly took a break.
"Any ideas on what to do?" asked Jevin.
"Maybe we can break in?" answered Wels.
That wasn't a bad idea.
zap
" Oww, something shocked me when I tried to break the wall down."
"So we can't break down the wall. Figured."
Grian leaned back on a wall to rest and think about what to do next.
clinck
Grian activated something. The hidden door revealed itself. It was a giant, glass double door. The hermits quickly opened the door and were greeted by a hallway.
The hallway seemed, endless. But it couldn't be, due to the size of the mothership. It felt like an endless maze as they walked through the hallway. After what felt like years, they had finally found a room. It seemed like a cafeteria. They sat down on the bench for a bit to rest.
vroom vroom
"Someone's coming, quickly hide!" whispered X.
"Huh? I heard something. COME OUT WHOEVER WAS THERE!" a guard shouted.
The hermits were trying so hard not to make a sound, until...
bang!
"The noise came from the other end of the hallway! Get whoever is there!" yelled the guard calling in back-up.
Phew, The hermits barely escaped.
zap
"Huh? What? The lights are out,"
"No shit sherlock"
"Oh, it's back on."
"Ok well, we gotta stop the corruption, the quicker the better."
X took a peek around the hallways to check for guards, only to find multiple dead bodies and a figure walking out away from the dead bodies, with red, robotic eyes...
"Oh fuck,"
"What? What happened?" asked Grian.
"Iskall is on the ship with us..." X left the others in shock.
"How did Iskall get on the ship? Either way, we're gonna need to find that control room and stop all of this from happening."
Continuing their endless hallway journey, Etho was concerned. There weren't many guards, as if the ship was abandoned.
There was a turn to the hallway. Without thinking, TFC went through the hallway.
TinFoilChef was burned to a crisp by Astra 982 using [Astra flamethrower]
"What the, nobody told me they had flamethrowers!" Impulse accidentally shouted. All of the guards heard and immediately rushed to the hermits.
"Everyone, quickly hold your water bucket, in case you catch on fire." Yelled Grian.
And with that, a fight broke out. These guards seemed more tough than usual, probably meaning they were guarding something precious to the Astra commander. X looked over to the room. It was labeled [control room]. they found it, all they had to do was get past through the gua-
A sudden silence broke through. The hermits had just witnessed one of the most terrifying things they have ever experienced. Iskall had killed all of the guards in one slash.
Sorry not sorry for leaving you with a cliff-hanger :)
