Beginnings are Endings.

Once it's begun, it's begun—
Beginnings cannot be rewritten.
There is no changing fate—
That's its definition.
But you can alter the ending
that they place on your shoulder,
lift the weight for a new perspective;
Don't be trapped by their orders.
There's a life beyond living,
more world to see.
There is breath beyond breathing,
A while person for you to be.
Beginnings are stuck—
They're permanent ink.
But endings are still coming—
You have yet to sink.
Adjust your attitude,
Move your eyes to see another way.
Regain your altitude,
Rise up to speak your say.
This is your life,
your breathing, your being,
so don't hold back—
Just live a new ending.
