The storm was the worst I've seen in a long time.

The hard rain clashed at our cave along with the roaring waves, almost as if they were battling each other onto who could flood our small cave first.

Bluebell scooted closer to me, she tried to act as if she wasn't bothered by the rain and thunder, but every time lightning struck, she whimpered quietly and her cute freckles that spread across her face like the stars would turn a bright pale green, they were the only part of her that resembled a Rainwing's ability to change color when they have feelings like guilt, happiness, anger, or in this case, fear.

What made her freckles different from the average Rainwing was that hers would glow. From what I can tell, the brighter they glow, the more intense that feeling is. I guess you can say that I've been trying to see what abilities she gained from being a hybrid. If you were to ask me if she got more of her Seawing side or my Rainwing side, I couldn't tell you.

Her freckles continued beaming a pale green light, the cave reflected the light in the wet, glistening stone. I started to feel bad for my poor frightened dragonet and worried that they or someone might see us before Lutris could come back, so I began to speak. "You know, I haven't seen a storm as bad as this since me and your father met..." I began to mumble loudly.

  Just as I suspected, her curiosity won over her fear, as it often did. She straightened up and perked her ears up. "Really? Why were you guys in a storm?" She asked, tilting her head to the side.

I tapped my chin thoughtfully. "Well, I guess it wouldn't make sense if I didn't tell you the whole story...But it's not like you'd want to wait through allll of that..!" I dragged on. "No! No! I'm patient! I can be!" She insisted. I continued to drag on. "Oh are you? But are you sure?" Bluebell looked up to me with big, curious eyes. "please..?" She asked.

         I patted the top of her head, and booped her snout. "Alright, okay. Well, let's start a little before I met your father.."
