The moon shines close for them tonight
A thousand lonely souls join together in its light
Encompassing this vast planet
They are bound by the similarities they share

Their lost hearts are yet to discover
Answers to the unanswered
Their other half in this world
The reason to feeling so alone
The purpose of their existence

Some dwell on the desires
That they will never acquire
Repeatedly attempting to obtain the unobtainable

I simply want to ask you
What is your purpose?
When you know that what you are longing for
Will never have the change to materialize?
