Dickhead's Proposal | 1

"Hyung please, stop!" Jungkook screamed at Jimin, trying to take the alcohol bottle off of him.

He reeked of the scent you get in bars, you know, the scent that runs up your nose as soon as you enter the room full of drunkards ready to have sex with anyone who looks the slightest bit attractive.

"I said, I'M NOT DRUNK!" Jimin yelled in the youngers face, harshly pushing him away from him.

"And CUT!" The director clapped. The boys were filming a scene for their new mv, it required a lot more acting than they were used to but it was manageable. For this scene only Jungkook and Jimin were needed so the other members rested back at their dorms.

What am I doing at the filming scene? I've been Jimin's personal assistant for the past 5 years; Lee Yeseul, basically someone that has to follow him everywhere, of course not like everywhere but you get the point.

Jungkook and Jimin walked off of the set and came backstage to the other staff. I held out a water bottle for Jimin like I always did, he walked near me and slapped it out of my hand, like he always did.

"Follow me." He coldly ordered, I took a deep breath watching him walk off, controlling myself not to fucking punch him on the face because of how much of a dickhead he was. But then again I've learnt to tolerate his ass over the years.

"You know you could've just become a model or something, why put yourself through the long struggle of working for him?" Jungkook asked, walking up to me.

"Not a model, but I'm gonna get a new job soon, my contract to be Jimin's assistant ends at the end of the month." I happily sighed out, those years of being treated like shit were finally coming to an end.

It was never like my family was struggling and that we needed money, we were pretty well off due to my dads job in Europe. I was always told I should've just let myself live the luxuries of being spoilt by my parents, but I decided to make my own hard worked money.

BuT yOu'Re juSt aN aSsiStant. Oh god, trust me, being the assistant of Park Jimin, is fucking hard work.

"You look so happy about the contract ending, what about me? Aren't you gonna miss me once you're gone? I see how it is, tch,"

The maknae acted angry, I ruffled his hair as we both chuckled. I was pretty close with the other members because they weren't like Jimin, you know, they weren't assholes.

"Come to think of it, you're the longest running assistant of any of the members. I have to get a new one every month, can't you just be my assistant too?" He pouted making puppy eyes, this was like his 1893th time asking me that. The other members assistants were constantly changing because mainly girls would apply for the job and they ended up being crazy sasaengs.

"Being Jimin's assistant is hard enough-"

"I THOUGHT I TOLD YESEUL TO FOLLOW ME?!" A loud annoying voice cut me off, I quickly excused myself from Jungkook and ran to Jimin's makeup room, he was known for losing his temper faster fast, and no one knew that better than me.

"Yes Jimin?" I opened the door to see him admiring himself in the mirror. Typical.

"Jimin? Since when did you start calling me informally? It's Mr Park to you, remember." He turned around looking through my soul. Of course I remember, I just thought you'd finally let me off and call you informally because we're the same age.

It was easy for me to annoy him, like I could literally breathe and he'd sigh out of anger. Back then things used to be a lot worse, he would nitpick things at me just because I was new at the job and didn't get anything yet.

For my whole first year I tried to get fired by annoying him, since I couldn't exactly resign because of the contract I signed. Jimin actually ended up wanting me to leave, and I could've been relaxing at home if it wasn't for absolutely no other normal person wanting the job.

After that I got close with all the members and they became a second family to me. So my desire to leave faded, and I actually ended up following all his dumb rules like: tReAt mE liKe a KiNg. And by that he meant I couldn't speak to him unless spoken to, I couldn't talk to him informally, I couldn't even breathe loudly.

And for some reason those rules only applied to me.

"How are things going with that boyfriend of yours?" He asked out of the blue.

"We broke up a last week." I replied. His name was Mingyu, yes the idol. I met him through Jungkook and we dated for a while. We eventually grew apart, although it wasn't a sad break up, we're still friends. I just realised younger boys aren't my type.

"That's good. I have a... favour to ask you..." Jimin started, looking embarrassed and hesitant for the first time in the 5 years I had known him.

"Yes?" I raised my eyebrows, waiting for him to continue.

"Marry me."

...

"I didn't know you knew how to joke around." I chuckled, trying to keep my posture straight because I normally laugh with my entire body, like an actual idiot.

"You know better than anyone that I don't like to joke." He replied in his usual monotone which only changed when a camera was around. I realised that he was dead serious and not kidding like I thought, so I stood there frozen trying to process his words.

"Uhm, what?" I managed to say, he sighed while sitting onto the table.

"My parents visited from the US for the first time in years. They were concerned that I'm turning 26 this year but I'm still not married, so they arranged me with some random girl. I didn't wanna fucking marry someone I don't know, so I lied and said I already had a fiancé. Now they wanna meet this person that doesn't exist and wants me to marry them. That's why I'm asking you for a favour. I'll explain further details once you tell me you'll do it." He explained.

"But don't you have a girlfriend? Aren't you dating Seulgi? From Red Velvet? Just marry her if you need someone so urgently." I suggested.

"I am. I told her about my parents but she said it's too early on in the relationship for anything close to marriage. And I understand her completely, who would marry under such short notice?" He spoke, making me scrunch up my face in annoyance.

"You realise, that's exactly what you're asking me to do?" I snapped, sounding ruder than I wanted to come off.

"Yeah, but you don't exactly matter to me."

Motherfuc-

"Sorry, marrying someone for a favour just doesn't sit amazingly right with me." I told him, I slightly bowed my head before turning around to exit the room, leaving him frustrated.

"What an asshole..."

-Time skip-

It was pretty late at night now, I had dropped Jimin at BTS' dorm, and headed to the hospital. No, I'm not going there to get calming pills so I can tolerate Jimin's ass, I already have stacks of those.

It's because my mum isn't the most well person on earth, she's battling a terminal illness, which if you didn't know, means her days are numbered, what's worse is, she knows. It's like she just sits around in the hospital waiting for her last day to come.

"Mum!" I tried to sound as bright as possible, entering her ward with her favourite snacks in hand. Her face lightened seeing me as she hugged me with all the power she had. I stayed with her until around 3am, we talked like there was no worry in the world.

"Yeseul-ah." She called out for me with her pretty voice, I hummed in response, massaging her shoulders to relieve some of her pain.

"You told me to think of a last wish... and I think I've thought of something every mother wants." Her warm hands grabbed mine, stopping me from massaging her.

"What is it?" I asked, as she turned around to face me.

"I want to see you wear my dress." She spoke, I smiled at her small wish, I placed my hand on hers returning the wide smile.

"I'll do that everyday from now on-"

"I'm talking about my wedding dress Yeseul." She cut me off, looking like she was imagining everything.

"I wanna see my daughter walk down the aisle wearing the dress I wore on my special day... how are things going with your boyfriend?" She asked, I sighed, seems like I didn't inform anyone about the break up. I went into deep thought fiddling with my fingers.

"It's her last wish," I thought.

"Things are going great with him mum, we were actually thinking of moving things foward." I lied, slowly realising what I was actually thinking.

"Great! What was his name again... I think old age is getting to me." she paused putting her fingers to her forehead as if it was supposed to give her the power to remember. She hadn't ever met Mingyu because of how short the relationship period was, but I had told her his name. I guess it's a good thing she doesn't remember it.

"Ay, what old age? My mum is young." I reassured her, pinching her delicate skin.

"I can't believe I'll see my little girl get married before I die." She said, tucking a piece of my hair behind my ear. A nurse came in and realised I was still here way past visiting hours so I quickly said my goodbyes and left.

"Oh my fucking god what did I just get myself into?" I almost couldn't believe I had said that to her. And that I had said it with my reasoning being what I was told earlier on in the day.

I pulled out my phone to search up 'Asshole' on my contacts. I pressed the number not even remembering how late at night it currently was. Jimin picked up the phone after a while as his tired voice spoke out.

"Are you fucked in the head?" He asked, sounding like he was yawning.

"I think I am." I replied, now exiting the hospital building to hopefully catch a cab.

"What bullshit are you talking this late at night?" It's like I could hear him roll his eyes while he switched on his bedside lamp.

"I think I'm fucked in the head for what I'm about to say." I cursed while talking to him for the first time ever.

"About that, favour..."

"I'll do it."
