Ebony walked hand in hand with Ruffian, as they went to celebrate that Ebony had passed the test, the information had sunk in, she was top of her class. They were walking but soon bumped past Angolio and his father Angite, Angolio was the same age as Ebony, and third in the class.

"Angolio" Ebony screamed running over to him and embracing him in a hug, he had short brown hair with blue eyes.

Angite and Ruffian moved closer together and stood side by side, quietly talking about the two little six year old's. Who were in front of them hugging and poking each other playfully, Angite quietly whispered to Ruffian "So, master Ruffian she has no idea that she isn't your real daughter".

"No, she doesn't" Ruffian snapped,

"Ebony let us go, i'm sure Angite and Angolio have something planned". he said and Ebony rushed to his side. "Bye, Angolio" Ebony quickly said to Angolio.

Ruffian and Ebony, walked passed off as Angite and Angolio went the other way.

"So, Eila what are we going to do?" Ebony asked looking up at Ruffian cutely "We are going to do whatever you want to do".

"Can we go into the forest, and train?" Ebony asked, at that moment Ruffian thought Ebony reminded him of himself when he was that age dedicated, strong and passionate.

"Yes, lets go" Ruffian said walking out of the two big oak doors, that led into the forest that lay beyond

They reached a clearing of trees, it was beautiful. There was a old fallen log, wide enough for six people.

Ebony looked around in awe of the place that was before her eyes. she spun round until she met Ruffian's eyes.

He looked at her with love "This will always be our place, no matter what".

Ebony just blinked in response, she now had a special place with her father.

When Ebony was not expecting it ruffian started tickling her, she fell down to the ground laughing.

"Stop, Eila" she said in between laughter

Ruffian stop once he could hear his daughters breath slowing right down, he did not want to kill her,

Ebony got up and crossed her arms, her red curly hair falling to her shoulder.

"You look cross Ebony" ruffian smiled

"Yes, I am" she said trying to hid a smile

"Why would that be"

"Because, I'm trying to get my emotions up to do this" she said jumping up and aiming a front kick at ruffian's lower stomach. He caught her foot with his hands holding it at his lower stomach, ebony was put off balance and fell down. Ruffian turned her around with her foot so she was lying on her stomach, he then placed his leg down over her knee and then bent her foot over his leg, Ruffian heard a muffled groan he got out of the position as soon as she tapped on the ground next to her head with her hand.

Ebony flicked her legs up trying to stand up but fell down after a few tries she managed to stand up,

"Well done, Ebony" Ruffian's voice echoed from somewhere among-st the trees.

"Ei—" Ebony started but stopped she thought she would try and find him, she dropped into a stealthy position and moved quickly and stealthy to a batch of green grass.

"Ebony, i know where you are, your black ropes are coming up against the green grass" Ruffian said

"then how come i don't know where you are?" Ebony asked

"because i'm hiding" in that instance there was a rustling sound as Ruffian lept from tree to tree until he was leaning on a low branch that was swaying even lower because of his body weight. "Hello Ebony" his eyes feeling with amusement as she stood arms crossed.

"that was no fair i had no idea where you were because you voice was echoing all over the place" She stated staring at him. He moved to the end of the branch and touched her head the branch swaying ridiculously low.

"It is a technique you must learn, Ebony"

"Will you teach me now?" Ebony asked

"Yes"

Ruffian helped Ebony climb onto the low swaying branch.

"Won't the branch break, Eila?" Ebony asked

"No since you weigh, such a small amount" ruffian said ruffling Ebony's red hair

She smiled

"Okay we will learn the moves you need to learn before you can do this technique, for one you need to be able to balance if you stand up on the branch you are on" Ruffian said standing up with ease.

Ebony looked at him and then down at the branch below her, she breathes deeply and began to stand up feeling her fingertips touching the branch.

"That's it" Ruffian encouraged as Ebony was almost standing up straight, she looked at him and her legs began to shake.

"Eila" Ebony screamed as she fell but felt strong hands catch her. She looked up and saw Ruffian's eyes "i will always pick you up when you fall, you will always be in my heart, Ebony" he murmured

"I love you Eila" she said embracing him in a hug.

"I love you to" he whispered back

"Now, you need to keep training" Ruffian said placing Ebony beside him so she could stand up.

Rananei was scared his father was pacing around him. His light brown hair was messy and his brown eyes showed fear.

"Ei—" Ranaei was about to speak when Molio cut him off

"You are my son, The son of the leader of this brotherhood. You are meant to be top of the class, not second to some ra-" Molio yelled

"I'm sorry she is dedicated and I think ruffian takes her out to train" Ranaei looked down at his feet

Molio raised his sons head "look at me when your speaking to me boy".

Ranaei looked up fear in his hazel brown eyes

"We will train too" Molio smiled

Ranaei looked slightly worried as his fathers grin turned creepy and sent a shiver down his spine.

Ebony was so proud of herself she had stood up on the branch by herself five minutes ago she was now practicing balancing on the tree, walking on the tree. Ruffian jumped of the branch and was now holding it steady. Wobbling it slightly now and then.

"Now, that you have that down packed, you need to learn to jump from this branch to this one" Ruffian said patting the other branch

"Eila it's a long way what if I fall" Ebony asked

"I will catch you" Ruffian said holding his arms out. Ebony smiled she focused she took a deep breath, and jumped. She felt free the wind going against her ropes, but she began to fall but she felt strong arms catch her. She opened her eyes to see Ruffian smiling

"You need to keep your eyes open silly, don't worry I didn't get it first go"

Ebony climbed back on the branch and focused she took another deep slow breath she made sure her eyes were open she bent down feeling the power come, she sprung open she jumped right to the other branch. Her arms wrapped around the branch as the rest of her body dangled down.

"Well done Ebony, now you need to pull yourself up" Ruffian said clapping

Ebony tried pulling back herself up it hurt but she ignored the pain and pulled herself up, she had a leg on both sides of the branch.

Ranaei's arms hurt his father was using them to show moves, he did it so it really hurt.

Ruffian never did so it hurt, of course it hurt a little bit never like this.

Ranaei felt a year roll down his check, his father snapped his focus to his face.

"Crying is for the weak, Ranaei are you weak?" He screamed

"No, but Eila it hurts"

"It's meant to, what did you think it would feel" Molio snapped

Ebony was giggling as she lept from branch to branch with ease it had been two hours since Ruffian showed her the technique. Of course it was only from one branch to two others that were all low branches.

"There's somewhere else I want to show you" Ruffain smiled holding Ebony's hand. He lead her to a clear area with no trees, and a steep cliff one hundred meters away going down a hundred and fifty meters.

The grass was long and yellow/gold, Ebony thought it looked amazing underneath all the dead looking grass.

Ebony looked away and then back to Ruffian she tipped him

"Your it" she giggled

He smiled"okay"

They ran around for ten minutes just about when Ebony was going to get Ruffian they heard a thump as if something had hit the ground. Ruffian looked at Ebony and they ran over to where they heard the thump come from. On the the ground was a little speckled falcon.

"What type of bird is it, he looks hurt" Ebony asked

"I think it is a falcon and he is a she, she hurt her wing" Ruffian said examining the bird "it looks very young only six and a half months old"

"Eila, can we care for this bird, until it gets better?, Please say yes Eila" Ebony begged

"Yes we may, you have a kind heart Ebony" Ruffian said cradling the bird in is arms.

"Where are we taking it?" Ebony asked a few minutes later trying to pat the falcon

"We will take it back to Ala, until it's better than we will set it free" Ruffian said carefully stepping not to hurt the bird more.

They walked back from the forest and went to their house, Mala was sitting there knitting. Her head turned towards Ebony and Ruffian and then the bird

"What the—-" Mala started but was interrupted by Ebony

"Wefoundabirdanditswingisbrokenandweregoingtolookafterit" Ebony said

"Okay wonderful" Mala said not juding anything she said

"Her give it to me i will help look after it" Mala took the bird and placed it on a table, she went and got it a warm woollen blanket for it to sleep. Ebony followed Mala over to the table and patted the bird as she placed it in a blanket

" i must go to a meeting now" Ruffian said going to leave Ebony ran up to him and hugged him "Bye Eila".

Rufian left his house and walked to the place where he bargained for Ebony to stay, he was the second two arrive. Lingo was alredy there standing there playing with a small dagger

"Where have you been all day playing with that bastard child of yours" He sneered

ruffian bit his toungue "As a matter of a fact yes, giving her a training lesson of katshea technique"

"Okay" Lingo said as Molio walked in "Master Ruffian, Master Lingo" Ruffian and Lingo both bowed as he entered

"Your Ebony is proving that she is able to learn our techniques quickly and efficently. she may stay and learn the ways of the assasin" Molio blurted out

Ruffian's face lit up into a great sile as he heard this

They continued to talk for the next hour about other stuff invloing the assasins

Back at Ebony's house

"Ala, do you think she will be alright" Ebony said leaning on the table to see the falcon with a broken wing

"Yes, but she will never forget the kindness we gave her" Mala replied

Was i always thinking of adding Ranaei abd Molio in there?

No i didn't i just wanted it to be Ebony and Ruffian's bonding but then i wanted Ranaei and Molio's unbonding. I wanted to show you how bad Molio is of being a father, and a decent human being.
