It was a cold, dark stormy night, there was a barking in the distance. A woman n in a long overcoat with a small child around 12 months old in her comforting arms. Runs to the entry of a dark alley way, she takes of her overcoat and wraps it around her child, her eyes fill with sorrow as she places the child on the softest spot possible. She places a note from one of the overcoats jacket saying "Her father was one of you, her name is Ebony please take her and raise her as your own as I cannot".

The women bent down and kissed her daughter for the last time, she quickly got up and began walking away. The child began to cry but the women did not look back. Soon an old man with long rough grey hair dressed in ripped and torn clothes heard the crying he went to find the source of the noise, he soon found the child and read the note. He scooped up the child, she imeadatly stopped crying. He looked down at the child with pity in his eyes, he quickly took her back to his home.

"Ruffian we cannot keep this child we just cannot" A man with long brown hair named Moilio spoke angrily above the child, she began to cry so her rescuer Ruffian picked her up and soothed her

"Her father was one of us you read the note" He spoke

"How do we know this her mother was probably some random Bitch who got pregnant and could not keep the child" Moilio raising his voice

"Moilio is right I'm sorry" a young red haired man pitched in

"Shut up Lingo you know nothing' Ruffian growled through clenched teeth "Moilio, she will die if not raised by us"

"Then let her" Moilio spoke

"Give her a chance to see if she is of the blood" Ruffian said

"Your sympathy will ruin you, we will keep her until she is six, and you will look after her is for passes the test when de is six she may stay for good" Moilio yelled leaving the room with Lingo

Ruffian smiled at the child "You're one of us now Ebony" he walked down one of the long slivery tunnels to is beautiful home hidden in the mountains and trees.

Ruffian and Ebony were greeted by Mala, Ruffian's wife "Darling who is this?"

"This is Ebony her mother left at our doorstep with a note" he replied passing her the note

"hmm, how do we know this is true?" Mala asked after reading the note

"Mala, we just believe besides you've always wanted a daughter" he said passing her Ebony "She will stay until she is six, unless she passes her test, if she passes it she will stay for her lifetime".
"I suppose so, it could work" Mala said as Ebony played with her long brown hair

5 Year later

"So, did I pass or not" Ebony asked crossing her arms

"Yes, you passed " Moilio grimaced

As soon as Ebony heard the news she began to run out of the room

"Where are you going?" Moilio asked frownin

"Opps, my I please go tell my mother master Moilio?" Ebony asked twitching on her feet

"Yes you may leave" Moilio asked reading his board

"Thankyou" Ebony said as she ran out of the room, she soon found herself in a courtyard were women were hanging and washing clothes. She ignored all the other women but ran straight to an middle aged women

"Ala, Ala" Ebony asked bouncing around

"Yes, Ebony?" Mala asked

"I passed the test" Ebony shouted almost at once

"Oh congratulations, Ebony" Mala said hugging her daughter

Back at the dojo

"How did she do Moilio?" Master Ruffian asked

"Top of the class, she may stay, Ruffian" Moilio said slightly angry.

"Ebony" Ruffian said as his little daughter came running to him

"Eila, I passed the test Eila" Ebony said embracing her father

"Well, let's go celebrate" Ruffian said walking beside his daughter.
