Previously, on Assassins:

Tsurugi activated his Assassination Technique 1: Death Sword and Kurama activates his Assassinasion Technique 1: Razor Fangs. Kurama's saws glowed a light blue color and Tsurugi's sword glowed a black color. Kurama put his arms forming an x and then threw his saws, the blue aura surrounding the saws formed a snake like figure, making two blue snakes charge at Ki. Tsurugi puts his hand in front of himself and a black orb appears, Tsurugi then slashes his sword downward and hit the orb, launching a large black sword beam. Ki couldn't escape, so he just grinned and accepted defeat.

"Heh, guess this is the end for me," he mumbled and he continued his small grin.

The two hissatsus hit him and a bunch of smoke covered the view. Kurama activated the retrieval technology and his saws came back as he caught it. Kariya also retrieved his strings with a press of a button on his gloves. When the smoke cleared, Ki was no longer there and in his place was black ash.

"Seems like we won this fight," Leo said.

"Hai," Hamano replied.

"Good thing this is over," Hayami said as he put back his sword.

"Let's get back now so we can report to Kudou-shujin and get healed up," Tsurugi said as he puts his sword away.

"Hai!" everyone replied and then they all went back to base.

~Meanwhile in the office, minutes before the assigned assassins left~

"So, what do you wanna talk about?" Tenma asked.

"So, in the past missions, you were pretty injured, especially in the battle against Echo and Sky. The doctor said that your wounds oddly healed faster than the others. Not to mention your arm had a pretty deep stab wound and when Sorano told us the time big rocks fell on you, it makes me wonder how your recovery is much faster than others and having that much resistance. Do you mind explaining it Matsukaze?" Kudou-shujin said.

"Oh, sorry for the delay, when I was young, the doctors said I was born with it, it's pretty much in my genes. Although they don't know why cause my parents didn't have it, so I don't know much," I said trying not to sound suspicious.

"Alright, next question, you were originally from Okinawa, right? How did you move into Inazuma town?" Kudou-shujin said, still having a straight face.

"It's kinda complicated Kudou-Shujin, gomen'nasai," Tenma replied as a looked down a bit.

"It's alright," Kudou-shujin responded, "That's all the questions I have for now, thanks for your cooperation Matsukaze, you may leave."

"Hai," Tenma replied and then left the office.

"I'm sorry, I can't tell any of you the truth yet," Tenma said in my mind as he closed his eyes, "I am just not ready."

Tenma sighed and went to the dorms to change into his assassin's uniform so he could go train.

~Meanwhile, with the two adults~

"I know there is something he isn't telling us, but I will wait for him to be ready. I know he needs time to think about it, it isn't easy telling someone a deep hidden secret," Kudou said as he looked out the window and saw Tenma go towards the dorms.

"Still observant as ever," Otonashi said in her mind as she smiled a bit.

~Meanwhile, somewhere else, after Ki was defeated~

An assassin walked into the room and bowed before someone.

"Sir, Ki has been killed by Raimon. What is our next move?" the guard asked.

"Not now, we just have to be patient. Preparations are still being done," the mastermind said, "Now go train with the others."

"Yes sir," the assassin said and then left.

The mastermind then placed his arm on the arm on the chair and leans on it, he then closes his eyes.

"Raimon, a place where those assassins get along and work together to protect their home town. That bond they develop in that place, it never changes," the mastermind said, "They had become seemingly very close to each other. That type of bond and trust is mostly why they manage to stop our plans."

"But.. What if I break that trust they have for each other?" The mastermind then sat up straight, "Maybe, just maybe."

The mastermind smirked a bit and said, "Be prepared, Raimon" in the last part, he opened his eyes and it flashed red.

Now, the next part of their adventure will begin.

"Beware of the dangers that lurk in the shadows. Because the hurdles you've faced before, might just be preparing you for something more treacherous."

"Ever since I joined Raimon, a lot of things had changed."

Memories of him and the first team spending time together flashed in his mind. A boy with chestnut brown hair and metallic blue eyes is currently running around the campus, just exercising by himself in the morning. He wore a green shirt with a black stripe at the end, dark blue shorts, and black and white shoes.

"I've made some memories with them and, they weren't bad at all. Whenever I'm with everyone, I feel like I can be myself."

The boy then stopped running and looked at the main building of the campus, the Raimon symbol on the top front of the building.

"However, I feel like there is more to come, more than meets the eye. That something is secretly lurking deeper in the shadows, waiting for the right time to strike. I can't let my guard down!"

He then continues jogging while having a few thoughts in mind as the gut feeling remained.

New allies will come, as well as more enemies to face.

Meanwhile somewhere else:

The mastermind of Shadow Clan was watching the whole base from the window of a tower. A member soon came in and bowed.

"I have some news to report sir," the assassin said.

"Go on, I'm listening," the mastermind replied, still looking out the large window.

"It's about the preparations, everything is going smoothly and soon enough, it will be completed. Also, the assassins you assigned are getting ready for your orders sir," the assassin replied.

"I see, anything else?" the mastermind asked while looking out the window as he observes.

"Yes, there has also been a few reports regarding the camps that were destroyed, but we're slowly rebuilding them again as well as constructing new ones. There are also some other reports from the higher ups regarding the districts, and about the experiments and equipment upgrades sir," the assassin added.

"..Very well then, I'll go through those at once, thank you for the reports, you may leave the papers on the desk and take your leave to join the others," the mastermind responds as he slightly turns to the assassin.

"Yes sir," The assassin replied and got up. He then placed the reports on the desk before leaving and making sure to close the door on his way out.

Once the assassin left, the mastermind looked out the window as he observed the team training. They were all focused and serious, but the mastermind eyed a certain group.

"Soon, everything will play out just as planned. Till then, let us have the calm before the storm," The mastermind said in his mind.

Meanwhile in the Raimon base's mastermind office:

"Is there any new reports from the other teams?" Kudou asked while putting away the documents he finished.

"Hai, here they are," Otonashi replied and handed them to Kudou.

Kudou got them and reads it.

"According to teams two and three, there has been some reports on stronger opponents from Shadow Clan that has attacked the members of the groups that were on patrol, and some more camps have been spotted in those areas. Not just that, some of the members got heavily injured from these new enemies, what should we do?" Otonashi added while looking at Kudou with a worried expression.

Kudou looks through the reports before replying.

"I'll look into the situation more, first we need more data and information on these enemies, the camps, and the locations. Those that were severely injured will have to rest up more before being able to fight again. I'll also have to change the training menus a bit in order to develop their abilities and skills, and then we'll have to upgrade the equipment more. Thats all I have in mind for now," Kudou replied.

"Understood, I can start on the equipment and find information," Otonashi said.

"Alright, we'll do our parts then. I also might need to ask for some assistance from someone," Kudou responds.

"Hai, I'll get going now, see you later Kudou-shujin, " Otonashi said.

"See you later," Kudou replies before Otonashi leaves the office.

After she left, Kudou makes a phone call with someone.

Meanwhile somewhere:

In what looks like an apartment, someone with fair skin, brown hair, small black eyes and blue glasses was seen playing a video game when suddenly the phone rang. He picks it up and sees who was calling before answering.

"Looks like hes calling," the person thought.

"Yes, this is Megane," the person said.

"Its Kudou. How is the operation going?" Kudou asked.

"Everything is all set!" Megane replied as he smirked.

"Good. Cause soon, it will be about time before it happens," Kudou responds as he looks out the large window of the office, viewing the outside.
